   2. Yes this opens the doors. I know someone that had to get a deliverance from it. However there’s something going on in society that is far worse. The way the women dress today is evil. They are wearing these leggings and yoga pants that show everything down there causing men to lust , which is a sin. It causes married men (other peoples husbands) to lust. and even tempt them to commit adultery. It’s all the work of the devil. It temps men sexually and it most likely causes men to masturbate. All of these things are sinful and open the door the demons. But the women walk down the street like it’s their right. It’s worse than the prostitutes dressed a few years ago. (Which s-t-i-l-l dotted rural hwys. before O.P.E.C. crude-oil embargo of 1973-’74.)       Therefore–WHY would the SUPREME CAUSE (of physical universe)…have accepted, adopted this “leftie” as one of HIS millions of servants? When this fourteen-yr.-old read that G*D will admit NO-body into Heaven “well, ‘cuz I’ve lived a clean life, I guess”…or “since I wuz born hyar in ‘Merricka, I m-u-s-t be a Ckrriss-chun”…should CHRIST JESUS have rejected my pleas for HIS mercy? Simply for being a “leftie”? When I repented of my in-born, human frailties, & surrendered my own life, my future, to CHRIST JESUS—then repeated this step twice more (as grateful, yet uncertain, “baby” Christian)—HIS wonderful, HOLY SPIRIT never a-p-p-e-a-r-e-d to admonish or convict me in so many words:

      “Michael, your left-handedness is an Adamic curse. And/or generational curse. Therefore: you MUST practice the use of your r-i-g-h-t hand. I w-i-l-l help train you. However–even in your Visual Arts classes, here at A.S.F.A.: Either you sculpt with your right-hand o-n-l-y, sketch with right hand only, write this way o-n-l-y…& even dial your dorm-hall’s pay-telephone with right hand ONLY—or else say “Bye-‘bye!” to MY companionship.       With everything inside me, I’m striving to a-v-o-i-d giving you that which I call “lay-person’s advice.” But still: Urge you to do a little h-i-s-t-o-r-i-c-a-l research…to r-e-a-d about just w-h-e-r-e & w-h-e-n this deaf, blind superstition b-e-g-a-n to first “d***n” left-handed persons. How MANY once-common notions about causes-&-effects, even embraced by professing-Christians in the past (and by few billion of today’s Third World peoples)…are NO-where inside our Scriptures; had actually n-e-v-e-r been inscribed into other world religions’ holy books! We shall, e-a-c-h of us, have to stand before that Highest INTELLIGENCE…and account for o-u-r “smarts”; either at Christians’ Judgement Seat (for rewards; Revelation 20: 4-6?)–or at CHRIST JESUS’ “Great, White Throne” of Rev. 20: 11-15. For m-y part: N-e-v-e-r do I want to return to my “goody-two-shoes” self-righteousness of childhood. (Right through age fourteen? Strangely, yes!)       1. Masterbation is a curse. Takes your energy and motivation away if you do to much of it. Its very addictive so I recommend refraining from masterbation. For bipolar and depressed people if you are doing this multiple times on a daily basis your energy will go. No motivation. The medical field will label you as depressed or bipolar and get you addicted to zome of tbe worst addictive medications. The medical field as well as the psychiatric field knows that if people stop masterbating we would have a peaceful world with sanity being restored. Mastsrbation is ungodly and addictive. They say its good for prostrate cancer. Do some research on sex between husband and wife. Now there are many benefits from this action. Abstinance is another choice , people who are abstinace are always in a good mood and have lots of energy. Masterbation may be demonic im not sure but it is lustful and it trys to destroy you mentally, physically and spiritually. Praying and fasting will get this monkey off your back so we can have a better world. You have to really make up your mind you quit.

The scriptures he chose directly relate to masterbation. When you masterbate do you lust? Jesus said to lust is to sin in your heart. Also you are pleasing yourself and it is addictive. You are justifying it so that you can continue to do it without getting convicted. Neither me nor Jamaal is out to put a guilt trip on you or to condemn you, but to bring conviction and change. Sin leads to death no matter how innocent it seems.

   3. JESUS never sinned; to even think on sexuality is an act of sin. If Christ sinned he would not have been the Christ, God in the flesh. Of course, it stands to reason that you would HAVE to be God NOT to think of sex. He had such power and was loved by so many, these would make Jesus attractive to any number of women. If the Messiah contemplated performing sex acts He not only would be guilty self-pleasuring, He would have proved Himself to not have been God. He either was 100% God and 100% holy or He was a fake. Any man or woman who follows Jesus as Lord comes to believe in His Lordship. Without knowing Christ we are susceptible to all lies– including an ability to allow self any perversity and all forms of sexuality. Falling for lies we never can feel clean, never know the Lord, never feel the great, great joy of living for Him.

      1. You are referring to Onan. Onan was to impregnate his wife, who was his brother’s widow. But, Onan knew that any resulting child would be considered as his brother’s and would receive the brother’s inheritance. Onan did not want that to happen. So, he did not want any offspring. And, so when he had sex with his wife, his brother’s widow, he pulled out at the last minute before his orgasm so that his seed, his semen, spilled out onto the ground instead. GOD struck him dead mainly because he denied the woman a child. Childlessness for women in that day was considered the same as being cursed. He was bringing disgrace and shame and a sense of being accursed upon his wife. This heartless and selfish act on Obama’s part absolutely displeased GOD. Which is why HE killed Onan. So Onan didn’t masturbate. But, rather he used his wife as a sex object in a sense. And, his seed did end up going to waste, making it a “sacrifice to Satan” in that way. Nevertheless, masturbation is still a grave and damning sin.

From what I’ve known is “concubinage is committed by a husband and should be charged together with the other woman or concubine. … The case can be passed off as concubinage if cohabitation happens in the conjugal dwelling or in any other place” I copied that from a site bc it’s what I’ve known. However the Roman law said, concubinage was the permanent cohabitation of a man and a woman outside of their existing formal marriages. The partners in such relationships and the offspring of their union did not have the same legal rights accorded married persons and their legitimate children.
         We need to abstain from all sex and lust until marriage, legal marriage that’s ordained by God.

      I Love you, because God Loves you. You need to learn to Love yourself like we Love you. If you Love yourself enough, you will eventually see yourself in others and Love them too, enough to no longer objectify them through porn.

I had a priest pray over me, I said out loud, you are not invited and in the name Of Jesus Christ you must leave, I coughed hard a couple of times, spit came out and I layer backwards…craaaazy……I have felt differently ever since.          5. Seek out those ministers/ministering teams who are active and effective in spiritual warfare. Sessions/prayer can often be done by phone or internet.

         Freedom from oppression is attainable.
         Staying free is doable.
         It just may take some doing.

       The model for marriage is Adam and Eve – one husband and one wife. That is the ideal model for marriage.

       Under the New Covenant, it is emphasized there should be husband for one wife. 1 Timothy 3:2, 12 and Titus 1:6 give “the husband of one wife” in a list of qualifications for church leadership. Ephesians 5:22-33 also refers implies there should be one husband for one wife.

       Under the Old Covenant God may allowed men to have multiple wives because women tend to outnumber men in many cultures and perhaps more so in the ancient world because of constant warfare. How is a society going to replenish its population when the male population have been decimated by war? Moreover the ancient world was extremely patriarchal. The husband provided with welfare and protection for their wives. In an extremely patriarchal society it’s not easy for women to fend and provide for themselves.

       Having children was an extreme asset in those days (especially in an agrarian society) because having children meant more help to work the field or what not. How would that be possible if your wife is barren? The mechanism of polygamy may have been allowed to ensure survival.

       But again, ideally God wanted one husband to be with one wife. Jesus reaffirms this when He said “7‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh.” – Mark 10:7.

Solomon was clearly not condemned by Yah for having many wives, but for marrying many FOREIGN wives, of nations he was warned NOT to form alliances with: Neh 13:26-27 says he was LOVED by Yah but for this one matter…why didn’t it condemn the many women itself..by no means does it do so! and specifically says because he loved many FOREIGN WOMEN.

So, again, it was a special provision only for kings and those two patriarchs Abraham and Jacob. Nowhere in the Holy Bible is this thing allowed for the general population.

And what can be more pleasing to him than to turn away from this sin and all sin! Oh how God must delight when we turn away from sin and turn toward him!

    In 1 Corinthians 7:9 Paul instructs if you cannot control or contain the passion or fires of lust in your soul ten it is better for you to marry than to burn.

    1. Actually, all people go through childhood body discovery and also the body changes that come with puberty. It involves self-touch and feelings of arousal. Both men and women will experience involuntary arousal which in men’s case may be followed by involuntary ejaculation. This is NOT sin, rather it is how people were created.

       Pornography is harmful because the people putting out the pornographic material are being immoral, or are forced to do it against their will through sexual slavery/human trafficking.

       It is also harmful to the viewer because people were not created to watch others engage in sexual activity. Psychologically, it manipulates the brain and even makes physical changes, similar to those of a drug addict’s brain. The user always needs more to get the same fix and becomes unable to stop. It turns the user into a slave of the sin, and sometimes they become a predator.

       I do not think that masturbation is wrong. I think moderation is key. It can be a way to keep someone’s sex drive in check to prevent them from sinning. 27. So much hate here, I’d like the moderators to clean up some of the more indignant comments… really, this is a Christian website for Christians who know, masturbation is a sin. There are real challenges of quitting the habit and I am far from perfect, but I know God is serious about it. The challenge is that I don’t have a wife, let alone a girlfriend, but I know masturbation is sin. Things are getting very serious now in 2020, I may die as a single man as our economy and society is deformed by the wicked and their lies, but I am more than willing to give up the shameful act of masturbation for my Father that art in Heaven. I see homeless all around where I live, so I’m never really in the mood anyway, you know?

    I can´t see it as sin as the bible don´t mention it one single time. If one could show me a word who directly forbids it I will quit otherwise not.

    Deuteronomy chapters 18 and 20, show a detailed list of many sexual sins, including fornication (Exodus 18:20), incest (Exodus 18: 6-18), homosexuality (Exodus 18:22) and sex with animals (Exodus 18:23). But there is nothing mentioned about masturbation. And it is not mentioned anywhere else about masturbation in the Bible.

    It can be hard to understand that the Bible does not mention anything about masturbation. Nor should we build a doctrine of something that the Bible does not mention. Believe me, I would like to say that masturbation is a sin, but I can not do it because the Bible says nothing about masturbation.

    Not even once in the Bible is masturbation mentioned. God could easily have said that one should not have sex with himself or something like that, but God has never even suggested that such an act is a sin. If masturbation is a sin, there must be somewhere in the scripture where it says having sex with oneself is a sin because all sins are mentioned in the scriptures. If anything is a sin against God, he will tell that it is a sin against him in his Word, and will not leave any sin outside.

    But masturbation can lead to sin. If you lusts after a person and then go home and masturbate then it’s a sin (Matthew 5:28). If you masturbate to porn then it’s a sin of course. Masturbation can open up to evil spirits so that you need a regular liberation. The same thing is for example with alcohol. According to the Bible, it is no sin, but it can lead to sin and people can get stuck in addiction and abuse and be bound by evil spirits. There are other things that the Bible does not say is a sin, but they can lead to sin and one can get stuck in addiction and abuse.

    Someone may say that the Holy Spirit says masturbation is a sin. But how could he do that? It is the Holy Spirit who has spoken the word of God (2 Petr. 1: 20-21). Everything that the Holy Spirit says must match what he has said before in the Bible.     Here is good news for many people: private solo masturbation, which is sexual stimulation and release by one’s self alone, is not a sin. There is no true Scriptural basis for calling it a sin. The idea that it is a sin is pure “doctrine of man,” not based on the Bible.

    Sin is defined as “the transgression of God’s law.”
    “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” ( 1 John 3:4)
    But private solo masturbation is not against God’s law in any way. Therefore it is not a sin. First we find that The 10 Commandments from God do not prohibit masturbation. Adultery is the only sexual activity prohibited by the Ten Commandments. (See The Ten Commandments in Exodus 20.) Next, we look at The Golden Rule and The Law Of Love to see if masturbation is prohibited by them; and we find that masturbation is not prohibited here, either. So where, then, is masturbation prohibited?

    Some people think that Genesis 38 prohibits masturbation, but it does not. God’s displeasure with Onan in Genesis 38 is based on Onan’s disobedience to the old law which required him to father a child by his dead brother’s wife. It has nothing to do with masturbation. Emission of semen, however, was unclean under the law, and a man needed to sacrifice two pigeons or two doves to make up for it. (See Leviticus 15.) It was a minor offense, comparable to accidentally soiling your undergarments. However, the law regarding clean and unclean things was repealed by God in Peter’s vision, as described in Acts 10. So emission of semen became clean, just as eating of pork became clean. This idea is confirmed by Romans 14:14 , where Paul says, “I know and am persuaded in the Lord that nothing is unclean in itself; but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it is unclean.”

    I do not find masturbation listed anywhere as an “abomination,” or anywhere among the various lists of prohibited sexual practices. (See Leviticus 18.) Adultery is prohibited; rape is prohibited; incest is prohibited; homosexual sex is prohibited; sex with animals is prohibited. But masturbation is not even mentioned. If masturbation were really a sin, surely it would be mentioned somewhere in the Bible. But it is not specifically prohibited anywhere in the Bible. So let’s turn now to general prohibitions, to see if masturbation falls under any of the “catch-all” categories of offense.

    The general disapproval of “fornication” (Greek PORNEIA) does not apply, since solo masturbation does not involve two people and does not involve sexual penetration. Even if you translate PORNEIA as “sexual immorality” rather than “fornication,” masturbation is still not prohibited, because PORNEIA means, literally, “the things which prostitutes do.” And nobody pays a prostitute to masturbate herself alone in private. So private solo masturbation is not prohibited either as “fornication” or as “sexual immorality.” Perhaps it might be prohibited because it leads to “impure thoughts.” But this is too vague to enforce; plus the masturbator might be thinking pure thoughts, such as imagining marital sex with his wife who is out of town, or a possible future wife-to-be, if he is not yet married. If you prohibit masturbation on the basis of impure thoughts, then you would similarly need to prohibit all advertising, because advertising sometimes leads to impure thoughts of material greed. Finally, it might be prohibited as a “lust of the flesh,” but if it is lustful, it is certainly no more lustful than the fleshly lust a married man feels for his lawful wife, which is permitted.

    So where, then, is the prohibition? It’s not found in the Bible. Thus we see that the prohibition against masturbation is pure “doctrine of man,” the very kind that Jesus speaks against.

    The simple fact is that private solo masturbation is permitted. And if we reject it as a sin, when it is not, we go against the will of God, Who gave it to us as a gift for our benefit and enjoyment.

    2. The litmus test to determine if something is a sin: Is it a doorway for further deception? Does it draw us away from intimacy with God and reliance on God? and… IS IT A DOORWAY FOR DEMONS? Is it a portal that says to unclean spirits, “Come on in!” Does it create a legal contract with the enemy?

He only had to be TEMPTED to sin, which He was, in “all ways” like we are, but NOT ONCE did Jesus sin, not once! If He had sinned even once, He would have DISQUALIFIED Himself from being the Savior of the world. This is the proof text from the Bible re this: Heb 4:15  For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 

    So you see, Jesus WAS tempted to sin, but He never did so “yet without sin.” Jesus remained spotless until death.

    1. Since Jesus was born into a human’s body, he would have had to wash himself which involves touching sensitive areas, yes? Touching those areas will create arousal. He had to go through puberty which would have involved involuntary ejaculations while sleeping at some point.

       Being a person is messy. As a human being, did Jesus sweat, poop, or wash himself in the nether regions? Yes. I don’t know if he intentionally masturbated. This might be one of those areas that is between you and God. If it causes you to sin, then don’t do it. Just like drinking wine causes some to sin, while some can drink wine without getting drunk or sinning. Moderation is important.

    My comments: Masturbation is demonic. It is a demonic portal. I do believe that it is especially dangerous at the moment of climax, where one’s consciousness markedly shifts and the gateway becomes wide open to giving oneself over to demons, i.e. inviting them to rush in and reside in one’s body and soul. There is no way for masturbation not to be sexual, as some may believe, as it always involves sexual organs as an intrinsic part of the act. Masturbation is an extremely dangerous and deceptive practice, even if done every once in awhile. For those struggling with it, keep taking it to God. Take it Christ Jesus. Seek deliverance. Do everything you humanly can to prevent and eliminate visual and any other stimulation, including what you hear, what you say and what you touch. 34. It’s not right. You know it’s not right. You want to stop. But you can’t. You try to justify yourself over this thing. God is merciful. He knows these uncontrollable urges. He understands. You feel better. For a while. It’s wrong. You know it’s wrong. You want to stop. But you can’t. You’ve tried. So many times. BUT YES, YOU CAN STOP! God does not know defeat. Call on Him. Don’t try in your flesh, by your own willpower, that never got anybody anywhere. Call on Jesus’ name, resist the devil and he WILL FLEE FROM YOU! Might take a little time and persistence but I promise you, you will be free. When the enemy sees that you in Christ are DETERMINED the temptations will decrease, and decrease, until they have no power over you WHATSOEVER! And you are free! Totally, wonderfully free. What a terrific feeling to know you kicked the ass of that demon that had control over you, that tormented you for so many years. Trust me, it can be done! Or rather TRUST JESUS!

       The natural biological function, as Romans 1 says is to HAVE A NATURAL AFFECTION FOR THE OPPOSITE SEX. So if you prefer yourself over a woman, something is wrong with that picture (idolatry), esp. if your mind says, just grab yourself, though there are millions of women who would be happy to grab you & you grab them.
       The above statement reflects what was called in 1 Tim 4:1 “doctrines of demons” that “forbid marriage”. How, just ask if at your adult age, you still find some “reason” why you don’t have a wife. You may have been seduced by such a doctrine, & need to REPENT. I know our modern Churches & pastors shamefully do not speak well on this. So you need to go back in time, to Dr. Martin Luther, the Reformer, & read his sermons on marriage. Your eyes will become WIIDE open. Also, read Milton on marriage, yes, THAT Milton, and the book The History & Philosophy of Marriage, by James Campbell

37. Yes this opens the doors. I know someone that had to get a deliverance from it. However there’s something going on in society that is far worse. The way the women dress today is evil. They are wearing these leggings and yoga pants that show everything down there causing men to lust , which is a sin. It causes married men (other peoples husbands) to lust. and even tempt them to commit adultery. It’s all the work of the devil. It temps men sexually and it most likely causes men to masturbate. All of these things are sinful and open the door the demons. But the women walk down the street like it’s their right. It’s worse than the prostitutes used to dress. It is disgusting and shameful and it’s causing men to sin. I have talked to many men about it and most men don’t like it. The women think they look sexy but they look very cheap and they’re playing right into Satan’s game.

I’ll probably get a lot of push back from what I’m going to say, but what about little babies and little children discovering that their bodies have sex organs and that rubbing them at times simply feels good? They are not fantasizing. They are not thinking sexual thoughts at all. They just know that it feels good.
    So my question is this: is THAT a sin?
    God gave us our sex organs. And yes, they feel good to be played with. But is that a sin when it is not motivated by sexual thoughts?
    I don’t think we can make blanket statements that ALL masturbation is a sin.
    When a young person such as an adolescent is growing up and developing sexually, their bodies are more sensitive. Sometimes they experience pressure in their sex organs that need a release. Is THAT too a “sin”?
    I agree that if someone is fantasizing and is looking at porn to get aroused, that is clearly sinful.
    Or if they are looking at someone sexually and lusting, that too is a sin. But when your body, occasionally need a release due to built up pressure, but you are not fantasizing when doing it, nor are you trying to stir up any lustful thoughts about someone, how is this technically as sin?
    Certainly, if someone is habitually maturbation, that falls into the category of addiction. And that can be a sin.
    But like eating. Is eating a sin? Do we sin when we get pleasure when we eat something delicious? Only when we over eat …eat more than our body needs, does it become gluttony…or if we continually fantasize about eating something delicious. Then that could become a sin.

       If you say “aw, well I can handle a little bit” or “it doesn’t rule me it doesn’t own me, I can partake in this and I don’t believe it’s a sin” then I guess you have a clean conscience about it but you don’t need to defend / justify it

       Because in my experience, it is an open door for more. (Shame guilt cycle)

39. I just want to make a point that your caption says masturbation is one of the *biggest* sins, and then somewhere in the beginning of the article, you say masturbation is a *serious* sin. In the Bible, it states that no sin is greater than any other sin. So, if you are going to tell us readers that if we were “actually” christian we wouldn’t masturbate, then maybe you should get some of the most important facts straight before you condemn your readers.
    Also, I do not remember reading anywhere in the Bible that actually states, “masturbation is selfish you’re only supposed to go anywhere near that area with your partner,” so I have an inkling that its just a personal opinion of yours. But, if Im wrong about, that please let me know with the verse attached. thank you.
