Thinking About Joining A Fraternity Or Sorority? The Demonic Spirits Behind Greek Organizations Exposed

“73% of students participating in social fraternities and sororities have experienced at least one hazing behavior” Allan/Madden(2008) Source

If you are a Christian and thinking about joining a sorority or fraternity, please consider the following scriptures:

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. – Matthew 6:24

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of

n159700710_30160480_63321.jpg
Some take their Greek Letter organization so seriously they get branded. Read Lev. 19:38 about not marking your body

the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. – 1 John 2:15-16

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. – James 4:4

You have to really ask yourself: is the spirit behind fraternities and sororities really the Holy Spirit? Does it really draw you closer to the Lord Jesus Christ? The Bible reads to do all things for the glory of God (1 Co. 10:31), does it really bring glory to Him?

Does the following have any resemblance to Christian life?

The secret rituals where members chant, repeat their chapters creed, and many things that are completely unknown to the outsiders create an elitism attitude for the members. It is hard to provide an actual chant or underground practice from a sorority or fraternity because they are often the thing kept most secret. Unlike hazing where people end up finding out about them. Their chants and rituals are often only done at secret ceremonys [sic] involving candlelight, an attitude of respect for their greek chapter, and most of the time involve past down ceremonial relics that have been passed down in the chapter for generations.

Satan, the one who deceives the whole world, cons people into worshiping him since most people are not stupid enough to worship him knowingly and directly. By paying homage to the false gods behind these Greek organizations, he receives worship.

The Bible is clear, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Ex. 20:3). Yet, behind these organizations are false gods:

Phi Beta Sigma was associated with Athena, in Greek religion and mythology, one of the most important Olympian false gods.

Kappa Alpha Psi is associated with Thoth, which is the name given by the Greeks to the Egyptian god Djeheuty. Thoth was the god of wisdom, inventor of writing, patron of scribes, and the divine mediator.

Phi Beta Sigma pays homage to Horus.

False god Atlas holding the earth up

Alpha Kappa Alpha is associated with Atlas. In Greek mythology, a Titan (a Nephilim perhaps?).

Alpha Phi Alpha (a fraternity) has the Sphinx as its logo.

Omega Psi Phi is associated with Anubis. Anubis is the Egyptian mythological false god with the head of a jackal.

Zeta Phi Beta is associated with the Egyptian cat-headed goddess, Bastet.

Notice the skull at the bottom

Sigma Gamma Rho refers to Ma’at as its inspiration. She is a goddess who was the female counterpart of Thoth. Its emblem has a skull with swords crossed through it, which is normally associated with death.

Iota Phi Theta is associated with the Centaur, which in Greek mythology was a race of creatures, part horse and part man.

Delta Sigma Theta is associated with the Roman goddess Minerva. The Greek version of Minerva is called Athena. Celebrations and altars were utilized for this false goddess. The Deltas have this quote: “Question: What is the ultimate goal, then? Answer: Wisdom! The college-educated woman seeks to become wise rather than smart. That is why MINERVA, the Goddess of Wisdom, is our Sorority mentor.” (Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Grand Chapter, Membership Intake Program, 1987, p. 106.).

AKAs are quoted as saying: “…To thee O Alpha Kappa Alpha! We pledge our hearts, our minds our strength. To foster their teachings, obey thy Laws and make thee supreme in service to all mankind” (from pg. 39 of their ritual book).

Some of these groups knell on shrines to a false god. For example, pg. 14 of the ritual book of Kappa Alpha Psi states: “…The Altar of Kappa Alpha Psi, which is the sacred Delphic Shrine, shall be placed in the center of the room and covered with a crimson and crown coverlet.” The Delphic Shrine was used as the shrine of the false god Apollo (in the Greek polytheistic religion).

The Greek system seemingly mimics the structure of Freemasonry. The following quote is revealing as to the Masonic origins of the Greek system. Quoted from the Candidate Syllabus of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority of 1990 (page 30): “The most direct line of descent from Greek societies to America is the Freemasons (called Masons). Historians of American fraternities and sororities trace most of our rituals, ceremonies, and rites to the Masons. An examination of Masonic rituals open to the scholars suggests that our Founders were also influenced by Masonic ritual, symbolism and initiation experiences.”

It doesn’t take much research to discover the god of Freemasonry is not Jesus Christ but another god, namely lucifer.

The fact demons have been cast out of people who picked up the demons from being involved with sororities or fraternities is pretty telling. The following is an excerpt from the E-Book Demon Mentality Exposed from Rayford Johnson:

Demon_Mentality_Exposed_AKA_Spiritual_Warfare_pdf__page_18_of_100_.png

The following is an interesting testimony:

God is a jealous God, do you really think giving oaths to an organization where false deities are associated with is pleasing to God? The Bible reads, “Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?” (1 Cor. 10:21-22).

All the rituals, hazings, chanting, idolatrous devotion, secrecy, oaths, etc., do nothing to draw a person closer to God. Christians are to be separate, holy, and peculiar. How else can one be a light to this dark and dying world?

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” – 2 Cor. 6:14-18

If you have been involved with any freemasonry or sorority, and you claim to be a Christian, I would seriously repent and renounce it and even destroy any paraphernalia associated with it.

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins, just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only-begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

I went to the University of Toledo several years ago. One night I was invited by a friend of mine to go to a black student union hosted event. (I’m a white female,my friend is a black male). I’m not racist in anyway, I’m a Christian and firmly believe that what I experienced this night was a spiritual attack.
We went and got food before and then went to campus. It was about 8pm when the event started. I was looking forward to seeing the dances and step routines the sororities were going to perform-one of the main reasons I wanted to go. Unfortunately, we arrived and walked into the Hall where the event was held. When we walked into the room I felt fine. The food I ate before settled with ease even though it was fast food (this is important as I reflected on this night). After many awkward glances my way (I was pretty much the only white female present except for a few people who popped their heads in briefly), I felt a strong sense that I wasn’t welcome there. No one said anything to me except my friend I came with which was fine. I didn’t know anyone there except him.
The fraternities went first then I guess the sororities were supposed to follow them in performing. They did many Egyptian types of dance incorporated in with chanting, call & amswer, etc.. Shortly before the first group was finished I began to feel weak, my body was heavy and I couldn’t stand up any longer no matter how much I told myself, “it must be my anxiety, I’m out of my element and I must be nervous about not feeling welcome.” I continued to stand and lean against the wall trying to stay longer because I didn’t want to disappoint my friend who invited me.
The next few fraternities performances went on and I became nauseated, light headed, dizzy, and uneasy. There was a specific dance I remember shortly before I ended up leaving the event. One part of the performance involved an upperclassmen pretending to hold a gun and shooting the entire room of people except for his brothers behind him. (They were safe. I’m assuming it was symbolizing that they would’ve killed for their brothers no matter what if they had to.) A few minutes later I couldn’t take it anymore. I told my friend I had to go to the bathroom because I felt unwell. He was concerned but I told him I was fine and he stayed. At this point I was sweating profusely, still dizzy and feeling weak. As soon as I left the room the weight was lifted and I felt slightly better. As I got to the bathroom I was sure I was going to throw up. I splashed water on my face and tried to calm myself. I couldn’t throw up, even though that felt like it’d solve my issues. My sweating subsided and my heart rate returned to almost normal. Confused and worried I got food sickness possibly, I returned to the event. I found my friend and told him I felt better. The performances continued but they seemed to me to become more violent and aggressive in how they were communicating during these songs, chants, call/answer type of things. By this, I mean that instead of speaking in a normal tone or singing, it was screaming and yelling back and forth. Very aggressive stomping which I figured was just showing “masculinity” or something. No 10 minutes later did I find myself with the same feeling and symptoms. I was really worried and wanted to just go home, but my friend was there so I told him to stay and I had to go to the bathroom again because I felt sick again. I tried the same things, breathed slowly, splashed water on my face, etc..
The difference was that this time once I started to feel better I didn’t return to the room where the event was held. Eventually I felt much better. I waited for my friend to meet me in the student lounge outside the room. He asked if I was okay and just said it must’ve been the food we ate before that made me feel bad. As I reflected on the chain of events, I realized this was not normal. I’ve had food poisoning before and it’s never gone away and come back like this did.
Since then I have been researching roots of these kinds of organizations. They’re pagan, Egyptian, and most definitely satanic. The dances, the weird chanting in Latin or Greek, and the emphasis on brotherhood/sisterhoodall pointed to what my gut was telling me: this was not normal. I’ve never experienced anything like that before. I pray for all Greek organization involved students as well as those who are deciding if they should pledge or not.
I believe I was spiritually attacked by entities that were summoned at the event via the performances. I’ve researched that when an entity tries to attach itself to someone that person can become nauseated, dizzy, and experience weakness or headaches. I had had all of these symptoms at once while I remained in the event room.

God bless all! Peace be with you! I pray you or anyone you know reading this understands the severity of what Greek organizations’ true goal is: subliminal mind control, and forcing people to worship idols. Do not fall victim to their recruiting tactics. Be strong and love the Lord our God.

Just to note: my friend was not affiliated with any of the organizations there that night or any Greek organization for that matter. I haven’t spoke to him much about this night because he didn’t respond to it like I did. Also I didn’t want him to believe I was racist or something and didn’t want to offend him since he was the one who invited me. He is Christian and so am I but I’ve heard everyone responds to this type of thing differently. Some people are more keen/sensitive to the energy in the room.

Yeah, it looks what you went through was a spiritual attack. I believe their rituals can summon demons. I hope people involved in these fraternities and sororities repent and submit to the Lord Jesus Christ.

You’re right on the money. They’re all founded by freemasons and have spiritual founders as well. I don’t think I’ve been able to remove the evil spirit that attached to me that initiation night. Sigma nu pretended to be a Christian organization but the serpent symbolism was the warning that I didn’t heed. Founded at a military college after the civil war. These demons divided the country and took over, enslaving us all. Research the knights of Malta and how freemasons built all the courthouses and started the public schools in their lodges. They claim to want to rebuild Solomon’s temple and unite all religions at one alter.

God bless you, Alyssa, as you follow Christ. Also, don’t be afraid to share your knowledge about Christ with other believers. Don’t fear satan’s ruse of care for worldly perceptions. Believers are not of this world and can fight the world when we are not afraid of its definitions.

You are perpetuating a belief system of Masters and slaves. The Greeks become your family and run your social life. It is satanic and worldly. Fall before God on your knees and beg for forgiveness. If you are apart of these groups leave asap. I pray for you and your blindness to the Truth.

You are covering a corrupt organization that is controlled by elite. I’m praying for all of whom do not believe. The Greeks are a smaller version of what happens in the real world. Only there it is called The Illuminati. Keep laughing. I’ll continue to pray.

It is quite different from university life in the UK, for most people anyway.

It seems to me that in the US, people travel big distances from home to go to universities, you don’t have the same sometimes stultifying class system, and people cling together for mutual help. Also, the notion of elites reinforced by a good education and often ‘dodgy’ unChristian sororities, based far more on essentially pagan societies like ancient Greece and Rome seem to appeal to some people rather than Godly values of justice, mercy, true brother and sisterhood and real equality, service and help for others.

Whatever the case may be, it’s understandable people want fraternity in universities, but these are not healthy.

is Phi Theta kappa considered an actual greek life? Its an honors society, but they don’t do nothing that actual sororities of fraternities do such as hazing, rituals, secret meetings, chants, have specific colors or symbols or statues, none of that. Im a Christian and before I decided to do research before i decided to apply for the honors society and i couldn’t find any reference of it in any of the greek life lists name. So, if there is something im missing or isn’t showing online please let me know. Jesus loves you.

Sorry you feel that way. But others have supported this and know how it feels to be attacked spiritually. I’m a Christian too and I have a strong faith. I prayed about why this happened and God has told me it wasn’t my place to be. There are many other people who have documented feeling nauseated in haunted places or places where demons dwell. It hurts my feelings you laugh at this experience because it was real. At the time I lived by a cemetery and had many other experiences not mentioned. But you’re right. You know everything
You must be God. If you are forgive for my sins. God bless. Or bless yourself. Whatever. Believe me or not. But I’ve told this same experience to people and they’ve even told me it was probably a spiritual attack.

  6. The young lady in the video has a peace sign on her wall. Evangelicals claim that is a blasphemous symbol desecrating the cross and Christ. Don’t know if that is a legitimate factual based argument. But at the least, it is a symbol of the 1960s hippie and leftist culture, that was, and still is, anti-God, anti-traditional values, and anti-American.

I totally agree but I have a question:

What about honor societies that claim not to be a fraternity or sorority?

Examples are: Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Alpha Psi

My instinct tells me that they still honor false gods somehow….

Hey. Good stuff. I am a christian(believer). My question. If the pastor of a church is connect or claims a fraternity and now his Masonic lodge, can this curse be connected to my family. I’ve discussed with him I want nothing to do with it, ie perks, etc. He claims to have gotten permission from Jehovah, but I’m like naw, I’m good. He also advised me there is no curse I have to worry about. I have a family and he is aware that I don’t approve in the sense of my convictions/belief. Thanks!

Hello to everyone. I graduated from a historically black college. I pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc in 1994. I pledged Kappa for the networking, beautiful women and the brotherly love. I felt like a God on campus having my way with the ladies. I had Kappa car mats and only dranked red juice, LOL Crazy Right???. I was entangled with Kappa Alpha Psi and the demonic word and I think Jesus for saving me. Jesus told me to denouce Kappa and live for him. I struggled with that and asked Jesus to show me why Kappa was not of him. Jesus clearly should me in his word that I can not serve him and Kappa(Matt. 6:24). Jesus showed me how the step shows(dance) were a form of praise to satan. Jesus reminded me that when praises go up blessing come down from heaven. Therefore, Jesus, God nor the Holy Ghost is attending the step shows because they are not getting all the praise beside greek gods. satan is doing the blessing because the door has been open for his demons to enter this realm(world) and inhabit the steppers and onlookers. I was juggling three to four females after every step show and beyond because of the three letters on my chest. satan blessed(cursed) me with the premarital sex, soul ties and a godlike pedastal on and off campus(elite mindset). Listen Up!!! I struggled staying married twice because I was not delivered from the fraternity. I wanted deliverance and stayed away from the brothers and Jesus showed me that the brand I have on my arm was a gateway for demons. All FACTS…I thought all was living the LIFE. I would like to take this time to WARN anyone in or thinking about joining a fraternity, sorority, masonic lodge or any secret organization with oathes and rituals. DO NOT DO IT BECAUSE YOUR SOUL IS AT STAKE….There’s more to the story…..I can be contacted for ministry at Belfieldc@ymail.com

I too was a member of a sorority as well as a member of the order of eastern star. I was a legacy in both instances. My grandmother was a Star, and both of my grandfathers were masons. I have several cousins that areZeta’s as well as aunt. People join because they don’t know. That’s how the enemy works. Both of my grandfathers were 32° Mason’s. They also were members of the church. The thing about this is when you are a southern traditional and religious Christian, you are blinded by what the enemy is trying to do. As I progressed my way up the ladder as a star, I realized later that the further that I went up, the further the teachings were away from the Bible. They have less to do with God and less to do with positive things. As far as the sorority, they were so many things that I’ve done including branding myself as well as maybe 100 other people that were unlike God. The freedom of being in college, the feeling of being a part of a group, the sex, and the alcohol, plays a toll on you. It was not until I fully commit myself to Jesus recently, I’m talking in the last three years was when I realized that I must renounce and denounce my membership to both organizations. I’m still going through a great deal of deliverance from the soul ties and oaths that I have taken. Even some of because they are still stuck in religion and tradition, cannot understand the ramifications of being attached to sororities. They don’t understand that it is demonic and it represents serving another god. My family is Christian, and I do recall one of my cousins years ago putting down his letters of Sigma because of his relationship with God. I did not understand it then but I fully understand it now. The enemy will blind person especially a young person who has not had family at home or then a part of something or just wanted to complete the cycle of being a legacy to continue on with the fraternity or sorority when they get to college. I pray many blessings over you all, with all Christian love.

When I was graduating from college I was asked by some administrator if I wanted to be ‘honored’ by coming to a special honorary ceremony where I would be given a certificate of some kind for making the top 3% highest grades of all the graduates that year.
I decided to go for it thinking it was innocent, not knowing what was going to happen at that ceremony – but once there, I found out and right away I knew, sensed that something wasn’t right! We graduates were handed lit candles to hold while reciting an OATH to uphold the beliefs of the Phi Beta Kappa sorority. I moved my lips but wasn’t repeating the words, I just pretended to. When I got home I immediately prayed to the Lord to enlighten me as to what it was all about. He showed me in the bible that He doesn’t want one who believes in Him to take ANY OATHS, or make pledges to any organization or to anyone!
He showed me that my (our) allegiance is to be ONLY to Him! I denounced my involvement (however brief it was) to that Sorority and called their main office and told them to REMOVE my name from their membership rolls. At first she didn’t want to do that, and told me that membership was PERMANENT! Yes! That was really scary. But I told her that I would never use their resources or help and insisted that she remove my name and finally, she agreed to do it.
How do I KNOW that she removed my name, the HOLY Spirit of God (Yahweh) told me that it was done in the Spirit realm, because I renounced the sorority and prayed to Him to do it in the Spirit realm – thus, it was DONE!
If any of you haven’t renounced your involvement with a sorority or like group, or have taken any “oaths” – renounce them now in the mighty, all-powerful Name of Jesus, believe, and it will be done. You will be freed from any bondage to that organization – forever.

    Proof Text —-

Also, I wanted to say that I found out that the sorority I got suckered into, was based on the Bavarian Illuminati —- Bavaria is in Germany.

That blew my mind. So, I do believe that all sororities, however innocent they may seem or sound, have their roots in the Illuminati (or Masonry). Actually, from what I’ve been reading in my research, only the TOP members of Masonry comprise the Illuminati. The members at the bottom of the pyramid are not Illuminati.

Western society unfortunately doesn’t believe in the existence of demons.
But look at what people like John Wimber and Charles H. Kraft, PhD wrote and said
in their books. These entities exist. Even David Icke acknowledges them and he’s a
masonic traveller. Wimber and Kraft both taught at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Idiots going like LOL are the ones who are demon possessed.
A lot of perverted homosexual stuff happens in the male fraternities and I’ve
heard of the girls having to run down topless through a row of fraternity brothers while
    getting their breasts groped.

Also, listen to what David and Donna Mae Carrico say on their ministry page concerning
    fraternal organizations.

People see demons as myths from the Middle Ages. But there is a holy spiritual realm, and a demonic one. I’ve experienced both.

Ironically, but not always, the enemy will persecute the brethren of God and leave the children of the world alone. When I first started to going to church as a practising Christian, around 8 years ago, the CFS I have suffered with started to intensify and get much worse. I’m still suffering with this though I’ve asked the Lord to heal me many many times.

Often, some people of the world will sail through life largely untroubled and unsullied. Not always. But I know many practising Christians suffer intensely for their faith, particularly ill health, depression, addictions and other things.

Look up Derek Prince, an outstanding Bible teacher from England. He has written some outstanding books about deliverance. Read Blessing or Curse you can choose. You can also find him on the internet. I am currently using one of his books in a bible study and the people have had their eyes opened. He backs up everything by the Word of God. Bless You!
