“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” – John 11:26-27
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” – John 14:6
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” – John 15:5
So in order to properly forgive, we must pray the exact words that John Ramirez wrote for the prayer. Sounds awfully close to Roman Catholicism. No thanks. I’ll pray from the heart with the Holy Spirit. Not what Pope Ramirez wants.

Pretty sure it’s just an example. I really doubt that the author is saying that the ONLY way to forgive is to read that excerpt. Sometimes when you aren’t sure how to say something an example is great to have.
