“Jose Silva (1914-1999), the founder of the occult Silva Mind Control technique, now called The Silva Method (TSM), taught people to contact ‘inner advisors’ for information and guidance. TSM is a spiritistic NEW AGE ‘self-help’ seminar that claims to represent ‘the next phase of human evolution on this planet.’ It claims that by developing the ‘unused potential’ of the mind and by learning how to function psychically, individuals can dramatically improve the quality of their lives. TSM was started when, during astral projection, Silva contacted what could be termed an ‘angel’ who helped him develop the principles that became TSM. In comparing TSM with the Christian concept of salvation, we find that most of what is supplied by faith in Jesus Christ, biblically speaking, is claimed to be supplied by TSM. Thus, sin and guilt are not removed by the atonement and personal faith in Christ, but through positive thinking. TSM  graduates are taught to rely entirely upon themselves for all of their spiritual needs. Biblically, however, such a doctrine comes under God’s judgment, since it perpetuates rebellion against Him, and a prideful human self-dependence (Isaiah 2:22). Even secular scientists have issued warnings with TSM and related practices. There have been reports of clients suffering from paranoid neuroses as a result of taking mind training courses. And since TSM is designed to generate ESP and establish contact with ‘inner counselors’ (which are really demons), Christians should stay far away from TSM and the like.”

In the 1970s, several types of mind and human potential training, including the development of paranormal mind powers, were proliferating. One of the popular programs was the Silva Method, started by Jose Silva (1914-1999), who had experimented with hypnosis and mental training exercises. Silva also had an interest in parapsychology and ESP (Extra Sensory Perception, another term for psychic abilities).

Silva claimed his program would help students develop untapped powers and potential of the mind (mostly paranormal) and also teach students to heal the body using the mind. Instruction included visualization and guided imagery (both forms of hypnosis), self-induced hypnosis, and meditation (http://www.skepdic.com/silva.html). Silva based much of his theory on what is called the right brain left brain dichotomy (split brain), a theory since put in much doubt though it is still popular (see “’Right Brain or ‘Left Brain’ – Myth or Reality?” at  http://rense.com/general2/rb.htm ). In actuality, people use both sides of the brain most of the time.

Silva Today

The Silva programs have not gone away. The website for The Silva Method states that it offers two programs: the Silva Life System (SLS) and the Silva Intuition System (SIS). SLS “teaches you specialized techniques to put yourself in greater contact with your true potential by training you to use guided imagery and focused awareness to achieve your goals.” SIS trains you to recognize and take control of your intuition, that part of you that feels a hunch, or has a sudden insight into a situation before you” (http://www.silvamethod.com/). Guided imagery is a form of hypnosis.

The main techniques are forms of hypnosis and meditation. Through these methods, students are introduced to “inner guides” or “inner counselors” to help them. Since Silva is more polished now, they may no longer use those terms. However, this exercise would introduce a person to a spirit guide as the “representation of the Spiritual You” as described below:

“This is a humbling exercise that allows you to experience how you are connected to and One with Universal Source Energy, the energy from which everything comes and where all information exists. You will create a representation of the Spiritual You that is One with Source Energy and will help you solve problems. Learn how to discipline your imagination so you can control your intuition.” (From the Silva Mind site at goo.gl/WUBRSP).

From the same link, here is a direct reference to “guides” (this page is very revealing):

“In this meditation your personal representation of Source Energy guides you to plant seeds along your future timeline that will flourish throughout your living experience and successfully keep you on your chosen path.”

Naturally, such guides are fallen angels. Hypnosis is the easiest way to introduce someone to a spirit guide(s), and all forms of the New Age and occult teachings will eventually introduce participants to such guides, either deliberately or inadvertently, through a form of hypnosis or meditation (this is how this writer “met” her main spirit guide, described as a “spiritual master” in the Inner Light Consciousness training she took).

Other mind development programs may incorporate Silva training or methods similar to it. In fact, most organizations that offer motivational teachings or mind training are using techniques similar to Silva, including some in the church. Detecting and Responding to Silva or Similar Systems

The warning is simple. Any program that offers

  • “breakthroughs” over a weekend or short period of time
  • exaggerated results such as “you will be a new person” or “you will never be the same”
  • you will feel closer to God
  • Guided imagery and/or forms of meditation or visualization

and

  • does not disclose what will transpire during the training
  • and/or requires a signed statement from the participant not to reveal what happens during the seminar

or anything similar, should be avoided.

The Christian is being renewed by the Holy Spirit through the process of Bible study, prayer, worship, and serving the Lord. It is not an instant process or even one that takes place over a short period of time. Rather, it is a lifelong walk of study, faith, and testing but which can result in rich and authentic growth. There is no shortcut to Christian growth.

Nobody should want his or her mind manipulated through hypnosis or being reprogrammed according to a secular worldview or New Age spirituality. It is a waste of time and money at the least, and the possible spiritual danger is too profound to risk.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

    I think this post really hit the mark, growth in the Lord, our God is not instant, and any forms of divination does affect your mind in a way that may lead you away from God.

    Is Anyone even aware that the Great Euphrates River is drying up, that Damascus is in Ruins, or that to the best of my knowledge the Sixth Vial of God is being poured out on the Great Euphrates River. Now do you understand why the illuminati Satanic \m/afia / Deep State with its many tentacles is frantically attempting to set up a New World Order using the UN? Satan has heard the Trumpets of God as they have sounded.
    This is my Testimony. Just prior to the Gulf war in 1990, I was paid a visit in the middle of the night by an Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is what happened. The Angel of the Lord hovered above my room. He woke me out of my sleep. He spoke to me out of the sound of a trumpet. Out of the sound of the Trumpet I understood what the Angel said in English. The Angel said, “Jesus Christ is God, and he came to the earth in the Flesh, FAST”. That was all the Angel said and I haven’t heard from it since.
    During the Gulf War in 1991 when the oil wells were lit ablaze in the Middle East, I was attacked by a demon on three separate occasions all at night. This is what happened. While I slept a demon flew through my window and attacked me. The Demon was so fast that the Holy spirit inside me fought this demon briefly until I awoke. Then it made me take over. I leaped out of bed trying to defend myself. The feelings from the demon was horrid. I could actually feel the pain from its presence. It spun circles around me thrashing through my soul with its hands, then it left as fast as it came.
    The Demon resembled an African Wart Hog that stood on its feet like a man. It was translucent. It radiated from the pains associated with the abyss. The Demon was like a coal that had been pulled from the fire, but with the pains that were associated with the abyss, Rev. 9:3.
    These attacks happened on three separate nights as I have stated during the time frame when the oil wells had been lit ablaze in Ancient Babylon, the Middle East.
    The third time the Scorpion Demon attacked me, however, was different from the rest. As before the Demon attacked me, this time I had enough since to command it to leave in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. What happened next is even more amazing. After commanding this demon to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit delivered me outside my bedroom into the hallway of our duplex. The demon followed.
    The Lord called us out of our rooms, and we were brought into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Demon stood to my left and grabbed my hand with its hand, it grabbed its tail and placed it on top of my left hand. It was the sting of the scorpion, and it went like this. It sent waves of fire through my soul Rev. 9:10. The pain was so severe that I couldn’t scream. Unconditionally, I looked straight up and said, “Father please help me”. The demon then left.
    I lived with my mother at the time. My mother awoke when this happened and was delivered by the Holy Spirit into the Hallway with me before the demon stung me. The Holy Spirit then lifted my right Arm and placed my mom’s left hand on top of my right Hand, as if I were escorting her. She just stood next to me as this demon stung me. God Almighty was speaking to me.
    These attacks, Revelations, and many more encounters happened to me after being seduced into trying transcendental meditation, which caused spiritual bondage to witchcraft / demonic forces. I believe the spiritual bondage also occurred after I played with a Ouija board and Tarot cards as a young boy. They appeared at that time just to be games, and were sold in the kid’s section at stores, or at least the Ouija board was. The Bible strictly forbids the participation in these practices.
    My dad was a Presbyterian Minister in Yuba City California until 1975. He was seduced into participating in the practice of a Ouija board and the Tarot cards. He brought them into our home. I was about 13 years old or so at the time. Bringing these occult objects into our home opened doors that should have remained closed. They truly are demonically inspired. I’ve suffered from participating in these occult practices which appeared to a young boy to be games.
    My dad paid the price for dabbling in what I will call occult games and practices, and for bringing them into our home.. He was taken spiritually Captive by demonic forces / witchcraft. Next He put a statue of a Buda in his church office. They even had a study class into the metaphysical at church, which I learned later. His ministry soon fell apart, as did his Health, and family. Shortly after this he fell out of the ministry. I believe that the Ouija board is to Satan what the Bat Phone is to Batman and Robin. I’m 59 years old now. I had a lot of spiritual warfare after participating in these so called “games”.
    The Illuminati infiltrates churches to destroy ministries. I believe my dad was seduced into participating in these practices to destroy his ministry. He spoke of a underworld society operating in Yuba City. He described powerful people from the area where involved. He received physical threats from people. He said people somehow knew what was being said in the house, as if taped. Things drastically changed rapidly for the worse.
    After my parents divorce my mother and I moved to North Highlands near Sacramento to start our new lives. My dad moved in with his boyfriend and started a Homosexual lifestyle. It was a complete personality change, demonically inspired. Through this I’ve felt I lost my dad but gained my Heavenly Father. My faith in Jesus Christ became strong. Moving on…

    When I was 27, prior to the Gulf war, I discovered a large Satanic \m/afia in Sacramento California while participating in the Sacramento Darting association. When I uncovered the Devils lair, I started to talk openly to people about it. I wasn’t aware it’s such a shhhh, secret…
    The Illuminati Satanic \m/afia first manifest themselves to me using Biker gangs, and drug Cartels. They informed me that they Knew who my dad and I where. I soon discovered that they are in all walks of life and consist of Monolithic Secret Societies working together to fulfill the Luciferian agenda, the Great Tribulation.
    What did a naive young man do? I went to a metaphysical bookstore and bought a book about witchcraft. It was kind of a joke, I thought. It talked about what colors meant in witchcraft, about blue stones for protection from witchcraft, etc. It appeared innocent. After reading some of the book I put it under my bed and went to sleep. In the middle of the night, I was paid a visit by what I believe to be a spirit of a witch. She flew in the spirit entering my room, hovering above me, she used some powers to manipulate my mind as I lay sleeping.
    What she appeared to do to me I’ve actually seen a picture of it in the New Age witchcraft magazine of how the witch used powers to set their victims up for an initiation into the New Age of Aquarius. If you look you can find it. Don’t bring occult materials into your homes in the form of games, practices, books, etc… it opens doors and is very dangerous.

    Prior to being attack by the demon during the Gulf War when all the oil wells where lit ablaze, I was forced to go through the Illuminati’s esoteric initiation performed through altered states of consciousness / transcendental meditation assisted with witchcraft / demonic forces. Why I say demonic forces is that I believe all witchcraft to be the powers of the demonic / the Devil. I was forced to go through said esoteric initiation through methods including witchcraft, demonology, and subversive acts of terrorism. The methods of torture from witchcraft included mind control / manipulation, heart palpitations, witchcraft dreams causing sleep deprivation, powerful visions, muscle spasms, twitching, witchcraft dreams, sleep paralysis, spiritual attacks, and many other forms. A evil witch performed Astro Projection to come after me using witchcraft and actually imprinted things on my brain. Hard to believe, nobody ever wants to experience this. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, especially when you deal with the spiritual realm and witchcraft. The illuminati enslave souls with witchcraft / Demonology.
    I was assisted through said ceremony by methods of witchcraft. I was taken through three separate Initiations, one after the other, transcending down the T.M. rabbit hole, It appeared to be in the three different sections of the brain, the top of the brain, the right side, and the left side. I went down the Rabbit hole of spiritual captivity. Transcending down the Rabbit hole during said esoteric initiations I was instructed to except the worship of one of their many “demonic gods”. They informed me through means of telepathy that in excepting one of their gods I accepted them all. One of their gods was the Devil, another they named Jesus, but they appeared to have a demon for every occasion. What better way to join all religions of the world together under one banner of 666 spiritually enslaving society? Now you know what the initiation consists of and its purpose.

    New Age \m/ovements David Spengler of the United Nations says that all people must go through an esoteric initiation and worship Lucifer to enter the New Age of Enlightenment, Age of Aquarius. Helen Blavatsky calls it a Christ like consciousness, universal mind set. Benjamin Cream states that after said initiation all its members will be able to hear ancient wisdom spoken telepathically at the same moment by ascended Masters. The evil witch Barbra Marx Hubbard, who was nominated for the vice Presidency of the democratic party in 1984, says she is a part of an organization who are going force all people to go through an esoteric initiation and worship Lucifer or be exterminated. They mean it. These are Monolithic “Secret” Societies yoked together by the unholy baptism of the Anti-Christ spirit and they are attempting to spiritually enslave and control All Society’s.
    I knew nothing of these organizations at that time, or their Luciferian agenda of a One World Government. Take a guess what method is used for this initiation? I bet you know now. Have you heard of the New Age Movement, or its affiliation with “Free” Masonry? Are you aware that the Scottish rite of “Free” \m/asonry magazine changed to the New Age \m/agazine. Do you know what an unholy baptism is, or the term Kundalini? Magic art is the precursor to TM. Now do you understand why Harry Potter witchcraft books are being pushed across the land? Now do you understand why meditation is being forced in schools? The illuminati are sowing the seeds of spiritual Captivity by the distribution of occult material into society in the form of games and or practices.     Here are a few scriptures talking about Gods warnings to man about dabbling into sorcery, divination, necromancy, and witchcraft just to name a few. Deuteronomy 18:10 states that people receive generational curses for participating in occult practices. Revelation 13, 10 states that If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. This is spiritual captivity to witchcraft / demonic forces. Nahum 3:4, who enslaved nations by her witchcraft. Revelation 18:23, By your magic spell all nations were led astray. Hebrews 2:15 states that by their fear of death they are held in bondage. Ezekiel 13:20 Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Says: I am against your magic charms with which you ensnare People like birds. I will tear them from your arms. I will set free the people that you ensnare like birds. I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your powers. Witchcraft / demonic powers are very real. Thank you, Jesus for the Holy spirit, your Holy Angels, and your protection. God reproves those He loves.

    God has been spiritually marking people for a long time. To the best of my knowledge this is the method Satan’s Secret Society uses to distribute the “spiritual mark of the Beast”, and cause spiritual captivity Revelation 13:10. I understand that the Beast hasn’t been released from the abyss yet, but God will release the spiritual entity at its appointed time to fulfil his purpose. Satan will give the Beast his power, Authority, and the spiritual slaves of evil. Have you received your spiritual stamp of acceptance? If so, did you take it on the forehead becoming a spiritual slave of evil, or on the right hand a servant of the Devil himself? Does this sound hard to believe? Kane was spiritually marked by God for protection. Those who mourned over the Idolatry taking place in Israel were marked with the seal of God on their foreheads for protection. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the Seal of God. There are many accounts in Revelation of spiritual marks being given to man. The Exodus chapter 13 States that God marked the Israelites on their forehands and in their minds.
    There is a way out, but it has been difficult for me. Revelation 12:11, Those who overcame, overcame by the blood of the lamb and the “word” of their testimony. They didn’t love their own lives so much as to shrink from death. Hebrews 2:15, By their fear of death they are held in spiritual captivity / bondage. Satan’s “Secret” Society isn’t very secret anymore! It is like a giant octopus with many tentacles reaching far and wide consuming who it can devour.
    Here is the rest of the story. Three to four nights later the demon returned in the early am @ about 3am. He wasn’t alone, Satan / Apollyon and the demon’s twin brother was with him. They hovered in the air above the ground, before the olive tree in our back yard. I could see them as the spirit in me manifested them to me! I saw through the spirits eyes. Satan hovered in the middle while the demons were on either side of him. The demon on his left had been thrown into the lake of fire for what he did to me, or I assume. He radiated like a coal pulled from the fire what seemed to be 15’x15′. He was lit up like a Christmas tree! Who will believe this testimony? God will be my witness and yours!
