Kundalini Awakening/Arousal/Activation or Really Demonic Possession?

Many people are seeking some supernatural thrill to fulfill them instead of going to the living God of the Bible. I believe since all people without Christ have a spiritual vacuum within themselves they will seek spiritual experiences in hopes it will fulfill them.

The devil, which the Bible calls the deceiver, knows this, so he offers people a counterfeit. Satan has his snares for those seeking such experiences. One of which is called kundalini awakening (also called kundalini activation or kundalini arousal), which is basically the event where the kundalini “takes over” a person, or when it rises from the base of the spine to the top of his head.

There are a plethora of Youtube videos about how to have a kundalini awakening. Many of these videos have hundreds of thousands of views. There are many websites that promote it and have been numerous books written about it.

My contention is that kundalini is nothing more than a demon or an evil spirit and that it is extremely dangerous to have a kundalini awakening. This so-called awakening is a deception for people to allow themselves to be demonized since a lot of times demons can’t just enter inside a person but instead needs an open “door” to go through. These doors are easily opened by New Age and occult practices. The promises of the benefits of kundalini are bait from the enemy to snare a victim to become demonized, as satan’s demons have the desire to inhabit a human body (read Mark 5:1-13; Matt. 12:43-45). This is the antithesis of one filled with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 5:18) which born-again Christians have when they repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ.

What Exactly is Kundalini?

_kundalinirising_hashtag_on_Instagram_•_Photos_and_Videos

From a Christian perspective, it is apparent to be an evil spirit, but how do non-Christians describe it? They described it as an energy “life force” or spiritual energy. It has been part of the belief system of many cultures for centuries. In Japan, it is known as Ki, which is the source of the word Reiki. In traditional Chinese culture, it is called qichi or ch’i. Mana to the Hawaiians is a form of spiritual energy. In Sanskrit, Prana is the word for “life force”, and Shakti means strength, psychic energy, or life force. According to various teachings, kundalini is a type of “corporeal energy.” Kundalini in Sanskrit literally means “coiled up” or “coiling like a snake.”

_kundaliniserpent_hashtag_on_Instagram_•_Photos_and_Videos

The well-known occult book entitled Serpent Power: The Secrets of Tantric and Shaktic Yoga by Arthur Avalon (Sir John Woodroffe) writes on the back cover [emphasis mine]:

Who is Kundalini, the Serpent Power? Mythologically, she is an aspect of shakti (power or energy) and consort of Shiva. Philosophically she is the creative energy that forms mind and matter, and comes to rest in the lowest form of matter. She is consciousness: the power of matter to know itself. In terms of Tantric practice, she is the mysterious power that resides in the human body and can be awakened by suitable techniques: special meditations and yogic practices of a particularly powerful nature. She is The Goddess: the ultimate heart of many areas of Eastern religion, not only of Hinduism.”

One website that promotes kundalini reads [emphasis mine]:

“These names refer to the Kundalini-Sakti, or Supreme Power in the human body by the arousing of which the Yoga is achieved….by the agency of the KundaliniSakti, which, in order to give it an English name, I have here called Serpent Power. Kundala means coiled. The power is the Goddess (Devi) Kundalini, or that which is coiled; for Her form is that of a coiled and sleeping serpent in the lowest bodily centre, at the base of the spinal column, until by the means described She is aroused in that Yoga which is named after Her.”

But this energy is also described as having an intelligence [emphasis mine]:

“The unique perspective of Siddha Mahayoga is that because kundalini is an intelligent force it will, upon awakening, naturally direct the practice of the student. All that is required is that the student completely surrender to this force. As a result of kundalini’s unfoldment spontaneous purifying movements, called kriyas will occur…”

source

Why would some supposed mere impersonal force seem to have an intelligence? Perhaps it isn’t a mere force but an actual spirit, albeit an evil one.

Another website reads [emphasis mine]:

The Shaktipat Master is a vessel for transmission, Goddess is the source… I do not care for the term “kundalini Master”, because it suggests mastery of Goddess, … control of it, and that is an ego illusion. One does not Master kundalini, one steps aside and allows it to do its work through you, as the vessel.

Source

How can a person be so trusting of an energy that seems to have intelligence and to totally yield to it?

Gopi Krishna in his book, The Awakening of Kundalini (pages 13-14), says kundalini is traditionally known as [emphasis mine],

“… Durga the creatrix, Chandi the fierce and bloodthirsty, and Kali the destroyer. She is also Bhajangi the serpent. As Chandi or Kali she has a garland of skulls around her neck and drinks human blood.”

Another website reads that the snake “is the most common and most well-recognized symbol of Kundalini energy.” Source

A Coincidence it is a Snake or Serpent?

_kundalinisnake_hashtag_on_Instagram_•_Photos_and_Videos copy.png

Isn’t that interesting? Out of all the things in the universe, the kundalini is depicted as a serpent. The Bible reads that satan, the adversary, is a serpent.

In Genesis Ch. 3:1-5, satan is in the form of a serpent who deceived Eve. He is described as subtle (or crafty) and tempts Eve with the lie that she will be like gods. That sounds awfully similar to what kundalini promises practitioners – to achieve godhood or to become one with the divine. Indeed, many yogis often declare themselves to have achieved “self-realization” – the acknowledgment of one’s own unity with Brahman, the “Universal Divine consciousness.”

The_Serpent___500px.png

The Bible reads in Genesis 3:1-5:

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

In the Bible, satan is described as the deceiver of the whole world (Rev. 12:9), but again also a serpent:

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Kundalini is also called the destroyer. Interesting, because Revelation 11:9, reads there is an evil spirit in the pit, who some believe to be the devil:

And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

In Hebrew, the name “Abaddon” means “place of destruction”; the Greek title “Apollyon” literally means “The Destroyer.” Also in John 10:10, Jesus said of satan that he comes to steal, and kill, and destroy.

How People Open Themselves to Receive Kundalini

How do people try to have what they call a kundalini awakening? By listening to binaural beats, meditation, chanting, breathing exercises, receiving a shaktipat (triggered by an advanced spiritual teacher or guru), or the practice of yoga, among other ways.

free-woman-yoga-silhouette-vector

Indeed, the awakening of kundalini energy is the ultimate aim of all yoga practice. Hans Ulrich Rieker, an author of numerous books and well-known authority on yoga and meditation, says: “Kundalini [is] the mainstay of all yoga practices” (The Yoga of Light: Hatha Yoga Pradipika, 101).

Kundalini awakenings can happen spontaneously when one has been involved in New Age or occult practices, even when he wasn’t seeking it. They can also occur as a result of drug experiences. During so-called kundalini arousal, the experiences may last for months or even years, in which case a long time of insanity and/or demonization is endured.

According to Christian authors John Ankerberg and John Weldon, kundalini arousal or its equivalent is found in many false religions, occult practices, and New Age medicine:

…it is… encountered in scores of the new religions, many occult practices, and in some practices of New Age medicine. Indeed, we have found no less than 15 different New Age health techniques in which proponents claim that their methods may arouse kundalini. For example, certain body work programs such as the Alexander method may arouse kundalini…

(Encyclopedia of New Age Beliefs, 606)

The Purpose or Goal of Kundalini

According to Indian yogis and numerous New Age and occult practitioners from many different fields, the awakening of kundalini is a highly desirable and beneficial transformation that people undergo on their spiritual journey. They say that people just need to “let go”, “surrender to”, and “trust through this process.” While many people sincerely and wholeheartedly believe this, vast amounts of occult literature warn that this so-called “awakening” is not without extreme dangers. Even practitioners themselves who have endorsed it recount their horrible experiences (more details about this later).

But according to Swami Prajananda, “The main purpose of its awakening in a seeker is to enable him to attain Godhood.” source

Interestingly enough, the devil’s primal rebellion was precisely about his desire to be “as God,” and he even offered Eve the same tantalizing perspective (Genesis 3:4-5; Isaiah 14:12-14). It is not surprising that the enemy, satan, would make demonization look like godhood, and call it a kundalini awakening, enlightenment, higher consciousness, or whatever other enticing buzz words that are thrown around to try to hook people.

Kundalini is a Worldwide Phenomenon

_kundaliniserpent_hashtag_on_Instagram_•_Photos_and_Videos.png

It is called by many different names around the world but in the end, it is always viewed as a “force”, “energy” or “power” – common terms one would hear in the world of the New Age. Kundalini energy, the foundation, and core of Hinduism’s pantheistic belief system is the exact same power that fuels idolatry and the open worship of demons in countless other religions, not just in Hinduism.

Ankerberg and Weldon wrote:

In our study of 70 new religions, we found kundalini arousal, or something similar, in roughly 50 percent of them, particularly the mystical, New Age, occult religions… For example, Hindu and Buddhist gurus, who account for scores of the new religions, are typically possessed by spirits. They often describe themselves in that manner, although they refer to it as a ‘divinizing’ – not a demonizing- process… But when describing their spirit, or ‘energy,’ possession, it is often directly linked to kundalini activity…. Whether it is called “superamental consciousness,” ‘god-possession,’ ‘divine companionship,’ or some other euphemism, the reality is the same. Consciousness researcher John White concludes:

Although the word Kundalini comes from the yogic tradition, nearly all the world’s major religions, spiritual paths, and genuine occult traditions see something akin to the kundalini experience as having significance in “divinizing” a person. The word itself may not appear in the traditions, but the concept is there nevertheless, wearing a different name yet recognizable as a key to attaining godlike stature.

The Physical Manifestations of Kundalini

Mind you, the described (often horrific) manifestations and symptoms of kundalini are not even from Christians but from secular sources, many of which endorse kundalini. This should be the most clear-cut evidence that getting involved with kundalini is demonic in nature. Reading the following, is it worth the risk to get involved with this?

Teresa Bergen, who teaches yoga, wrote an article called What Happens After Your kundalini Awakens?, said:

People describe mental and physical symptoms when their Kundalini awakens. These include trembling, spontaneous movement, and visual and auditory hallucinations, such as hearing birds chirping or human voices. Some people spontaneously recite mantras or make animal noises. According to Dr. Bonnie Greenwell, a therapist who works with people’s Kundalini energy, the feelings can be intense, but aren’t usually painful. However, Kundalini is unstoppable, and trying to control it can cause pain.

source

Another website lists some other symptoms. Yes, symptoms can include the feelings of bliss and laughter, but it is merely a counterfeit of true joy that can only be found in Jesus [emphasis mine]:

Muscle twitches, cramps or spasms.

Energy rushes or immense electricity circulating the body

Itching, vibrating, prickling, tingling, stinging or crawling sensations

Intense heat or cold

Involuntary bodily movements (occur more often during meditation, rest or sleep): jerking, tremors, shaking; feeling an inner force pushing one into postures or moving one’s body in unusual ways.  (May be misdiagnosed as epilepsy, restless legs syndrome, or PLMD

Episodes of extreme hyperactivity or, conversely, overwhelming fatigue

Emotional outbursts; rapid mood shifts; seemingly unprovoked or excessive episodes of grief, fear, rage, depression

Spontaneous vocalizations (including laughing and weeping) — are as unintentional and uncontrollable as hiccoughs.

Hearing an inner sound or sounds, classically described as a flute, drum, waterfall, birds singing, bees buzzing but which may also sound like roaring, whooshing, or thunderous noises or like ringing in the ears.

Mental confusion; difficulty concentrating

Altered states of consciousness: heightened awareness; spontaneous trance states; mystical experiences (if the individual’s prior belief system is too threatened by these, they can lead to bouts of psychosis or self-grandiosity)

Ecstasy, bliss and intervals of tremendous joy, love, peace and compassion

Psychic experiences: extrasensory perception; out-of-body experiences; past life memories; astral travel; direct awareness of auras and chakras; contact with spirit guides through inner voices, dreams or visions; healing powers.

Yet another website reveals the physical effects of kundalini, many of which are negative. They have a name for what a Christian would see as demonization, they call it kundalini syndrome (also called kundalini psychosis).

A website promoting it reads [emphasis mine]:

“Kundalini syndrome is a set of symptoms resulting from a near-death experience, intense trauma, prolonged meditation or yogic practice, nervous breakdowns, or some other form of spiritual emergency.

Symptoms of this syndrome are also thought to result from kundalini awakening, when it occurs unexpectedly or the proper precautions are not followed.”

“…Someone who undertakes awakening their kundalini must be prepared though, as in rare cases this energy can have negative effects – known as kundalini syndrome.”

This affliction can come on suddenly or signs may appear gradually over time.

A person suffering from it might experience any number of the following symptoms:

Physical:
  • Headache
  • Hallucinations
  • Sensation that they are vibrating
  • Increased heart rate
  • Sudden limb movements
  • Respiratory problems
  • Fever or chills
  • Sudden pain
Mental/Emotional:
  • Intense fear and/or paranoia
  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar mood
  • Spontaneous out of body experiences
  • Deregulation of thoughts
  • Unexpected trance-like states
  • Altered states of consciousness

Source

What is even sadder is that they promote the continuation of New Age practices trying to receive deliverance from the so-called kundalini syndrome:

“Because this issue is related to harmful energetic responses within the body, the only way to stop it is through energy healing. These methods include yoga, meditation, controlled breathing, and opening the chakras. It may take some time to address the negative energy in your body, and it’s best to do it slowly.”

Source

Another website promoting kundalini reads [emphasis mine]:

Many people know that the risen kundalini flings open gates to all sorts of mystical, paranormal and magical vistas but few realize it can also dramatically impact the body. A large percentage of Shared Transformation subscribers have reported long bouts of strange illness as well as radical mental, emotional, interpersonal, psychic, spiritual and lifestyle changes. Over and again we hear stories of frustrating, sometimes desperate visits to doctors, healers, counselors, etc. who neither understood nor were able to help with the myriad pains and problems catalyzed by raging kundalini.

source

Here is a shocking admission:

Over and again we hear stories of frustrating, sometimes desperate visits to doctors, healers, counsellors, etc. who neither understood nor were able to help with the myriad pains and problems catalysed by raging kundalini….

source

The Taoist “Master” Chao Pi Ch-en admitted that,

as time passes, demonic states will occur to the practiser [sic]… Significantly, yogic energy manifesations and possession are sometimes intially sensed by the experiences as the work of an evil spirit. But this primary impression is ‘corrected’ in accordance with Hindu theory, classifying the phenomena as a ‘divine process’…

(Encyclopedia of the New Age, 609)

As you just read, the symptoms of kundalini can be harrowing.

Testimonies of the Dangers of Kundalini From Practitioners

Eastern Guru Muktananda’s (1908-1982) own so-called spiritual enlightenment, a path he endorsed to his disciples, apparently involved the demonic.

download (6)

In Muktananda’s own words [emphasis mine]:

I was assailed by all sorts of perverse and defiling emotions. My body started to move, and went on like this in a confused sort of way…. After a time, my breathing changed, becoming disturbed. Sometimes my abdomen would swell with air, after which I would exhale it with great force. Often the breath that I took in would be held inside me. I became more and more frightened… my mind was sick with fear…

My thoughts became confused, meaningless. My limbs and body got hotter and hotter. My head felt heavy, and every pore in me began to ache. When I breathed out, my breath stopped outside. When I breathed in, it stopped inside. This was terribly painful and I lost my courage. Something told me that I would die at any moment… I could not understand what was happening, how it was happening, who was making it happen….

By now it was after 9:00. Someone had seated himself in my eyes and was making me see things… It seemed that I was being controlled by some power which made me do all these things. My intellect was completely unstable… I heard hordes of people screaming frightfully… and saw strange creatures from six to fifty feet tall, neither demons nor demigods, but human in form, dancing naked, their mouths gaping open. Their screeching was horrible and apocalyptic… An army of ghosts and demons surrounded me. All the while I was locked tight in the lotus posture, my eyes closed, my chin pressed down against my throat so that no air could escape.

Then I felt a searing pain…. I wanted to run away, but my legs were locked tight in the lotus posture. I felt as if my legs had been nailed down permanently in this position. My arms were completely immobilized….

Then, from over the water, a moonlike sphere about four feet in diameter came floating in. It stopped in front of me. This radiant, white ball struck against my eyes and then passed inside me. I am writing this just as I saw it. It is not a dream or an allegory, but a scene which actually happened–that sphere came down from the sky and entered me….My tongue curled up against my palate, and my eyes closed. I saw a dazzling light in my forehead and I was terrified. I was still lock in the lotus posture, and then my head was forced down and glued to the ground….

I started to make a sound like a camel, which alternated with the roaring of a tiger. I must have roared very loudly, for the people around actually thought that a tiger had gotten into the sugarcane field….

I am in a terrible state. I have gone completely insane. You may not be able to see it from the outside, but, inside, I am crazy…. My body began to twist….Now, it was not I who meditated; meditation forced itself on me.It came spontaneously; it was in all the joints of my body. Then, suddenly, a red light came before me with such force that it seemed to have been living inside me. It was two feet tall and shone brightly….

Every part of my body was emitting loud crackling and popping sounds….

At this time, I understood nothing about the various experiences….

Only afterward did I learn that they were all part of the process pertaining to [spiritual enlightenment]…. People who have experienced it call it the awakening of the Kundalini. The experiences I had had under the mango trees were due to the grace of my Gurudev Nityananda; they were all his prasad [blessing]….

Sometimes I would jump and hop like a frog, and sometimes my limbs would shake violently as though shaken by a deity in the form of my guru had spread all through me as Chiti [consciousness], and was shaking me with his inner Shakti [power]….

The power of the guru’s grace enters the disciple’s body in a subtle form and does many great things…. Every day I had meditation like that. Sometimes my body would writhe and twist like a snake’s, and a hissing sound would come from inside me….

Sometimes my neck moved so violently that it made loud cracking sounds, and I became frightened…. I had many astonishing movements like this. Sometimes my neck would roll my head around so vigorously that it would bend right below my shoulders so that I could see my back. When the intensity lessened, I became peaceful again. But because I did not understand these kriyas [spontaneous yoga movements], I was always worried and afraid. Later, however, I learned that this was a Hatha Yoga process effected by the Goddess Kundalini in order for Her to move up through the spinal column into the sahasrara [upper psychic center].

(Quoted in The Coming Darkness, 149-151)

Muktananda was apparently demon-possessed. But some people involved with kundalini just like Muktananda don’t interpret their terrible experience as demon possession because of the false worldview they are enmeshed in. They deliberately cultivate possession for purposes of supposed spiritual enlightenment. They see it as God possession. They reinterpret what is really demon possession as divine possession.

Gopi Krishna (1903-1984) was a founder of one of the several Kundalini Research Centers in the world. He recorded his own yoga-induced kundalini experiences [emphasis mine]:

It was variable for many years, painful, obsessive, even phantasmic. I have passed through almost all the stages of different mediumistic, psychotic and other types of mind, for sometime I was hovering between sanity and insanity. I was writing in many languages, some of which I never knew [the mediumistic ability of automatic writing].

(Encyclopedia of New Age Beliefs, 234)

It is worth noting that Krishna believes that most schizophrenics and manic depressives represent “malfunctioning” kundalini energy, thus admitting that it can produce mental derangement.

The Bible reads the living God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7). But this is the total opposite of what Muktananada experienced.

In his book, The Primal Power in Man or the Kundalini, Shakti, Swami Narayanananda describes what one experiences which one with discerning eyes would see as demon possession:

These hot currents that reach the brain center heat the brain, make the mind fickle, bring insomnia, brain disorder, insanity and incurable diseases. For the hot currents keep the mind wide awake and if a person does not know how to check the currents and to bring down the partly risen kundalini shakti to safer centers, one suffers terribly and it may ruin the whole life of a person or lead one to insanity. This is why we see many become insane, many get brain defects, and many others get some incurable diseases after deep sorrow.

(Encyclopedia of New Age Beliefs, 607)

More descriptions while under the influence of kundalini:

“I really felt frightened, as the Power seemed something which could consume me.” (The Serpent Power: The secrets of Tantric and Shaktic Yoga, 21)

“Your mind gets influenced spiritually as if some spirit has taken possession of your body and under that influence, different postures of yoga are involuntarily performed without the pain or fatigue.” (Kundalini Evolution and Enlightenment, 95)

One kundalini practitioner described the “awakening” as a sense of going down into an abyss, or “black hole.” source

That’s interesting because, in the Bible, the abyss is not written about in a positive light. In fact, when Jesus Christ, who is God incarnated, walked the earth 2,000 years ago demons cried out in fear that He would not send them to the abyss (Luke 8:31).

Not just unbelievers are getting involved with Kundalini but also professing Christians. The following is a story about Mineda J. McCleave:

She became interested in the occult and, despite God’s warnings against all such involvement (Deuteronomy 18:9-12), she naively trusted that God would protect her from anything evil… After immersing herself in occult literature, she began meditation. The result was kundalini arousal, ten years of serious mental problems, and a thorough conversion to Christian mysticism. in the end, McCleave interpreted her occult kundalini experience as the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Her story provides a powerful look at the consequences of occult practice in contemporary American spiritual life:

“I plunged into meditation prayer…. I began to have problems relating to the world around me. I had shifts in consciousness during my non-meditative hours…. I was again bothered with alternating periods of euphoria, anxiety, depression, and, sometimes, despair. I was surprised to find that my peaceful prayer life was often counterbalanced with thoughts of suicide. I could not understand these strange moods…. This activity, added to long periods of prayer, was causing changes, painful ones, in my mind and body. The physical, mental, and emotional problems that surfaced were so dramatic that I had to quit working.

I withdrew from society and had to rely upon my family to care for and support me…. I had begun a long ‘dark night of the soul,’ and it lasted for ten years. My peaceful prayers changed to frantic spiritual cries for help…. Finally, in 1975, when I was thirty-seven years old, I was hospitalized three times in the psychiatric ward of the local hospital…. I could no longer cope with my agitated mind. I was besieged with migraine headaches and no longer had any control over my life.

Reluctantly, I endured eight months of therapy…. On April 6, 1976… I was jarred out of my prayer by what felt like a current of energy that seemed to enter my body through my left foot…. This current was constant for four days and nights. With it there was increased feeling of great body heat. I felt as though I were burning up from the inside out. Relatives could feel heat emanating from the front and back of my head while their hands were an inch away from me. It was a frightening experience. I knew, intuitively, that I had somehow triggered this current through intense prayer, but I had no knowledge of how to stop it.

My mind was hyperhyperactive…. Physically, I went through a variety of symptoms…. Emotionally, I went up and down the keyboard of euphoria, joy, bewilderment, anxiety, depression, and the familiar despair. I was, at times, deluded and often disoriented. On one occasion, I actually believed I had died. Such peace! I was almost disappointed to realize I hadn’t. I was afraid to leave my apartment for fear someone would notice my schizophrenic-like behavior. I gazed into a mirror and observed a ‘wild’ look– the same strange look I had noticed in 1973 after I took a week of biofeedback training…. Despite my discomfort, I believed that what was happening to me was good, regardless of contrary appearances. I believed, “All things work together for good to them that love God.” Yet, while trying to adjust to this marvelous energy that was coursing through my mind and body, now intermittently, I exhibited so many psychiatric symptoms that the psychologist could no longer with me….

Finally, in December 1976, by the grace of God, I was led to an open-minded, tolerant, compassionate, caring Christian…. Bill Grimmer– an extraordinary man. He was not afraid of the occult. He was not afraid of kundalini…. My psychiatrist helped me to remember that I am still a Christian, not a yogi. He encouraged me to continue in my search–to reread the Scriptures and the writing of the mystics– to find the common denominator….

As I reread the Scriptures and the writings of the mystics, I was amazed at the new insights I gained…. The accomplished yogis explained their attainments in terms of kundalini. The Christian mystics, unaware of the Hindu term, described the same phenomenon, but named the animating, motivating spiritual force at work within them as the Holy Spirit…. The Christian experience [of kundalini] is described as the ‘baptism of the Holy Spirit’.”

(Encyclopedia of New Age Beliefs, 608-609)

From a Christian perspective, confusing what is really of God and the demonic has always been the goal of satan for purposes of spiritual deception. Sadly, the enemy has achieved a significant level of success.

Perusing through some videos on YouTube you can read many video titles suggesting the dangers of trying to awaken the kundalini (mind you as far as I know they are all not Christian):

Sadly, many of them will try to explain away their horrible experience with kundalini with New Age psycho-babble.

Christians who were once involved with kundalini shared their testimony in the comment section in some videos of those who promote kundalini:

When a Christian receives the gift of the Holy Spirit by repenting and turning to the Lord Jesus Christ there are never such potential bad manifestations or symptoms as found with Kundalini.

The Bible reads the fruits of the Holy Spirit are “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…” (Gal. 5:22-23). This is unlike the “fruits” of kundalini for many practitioners.

Conclusion

Capture+_2018-02-11-07-45-11-1

Well, if it acts like a devil, destroys like a devil, and looks like a devil….. then it is probably a devil.

The Bible reads satan changes into an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:4). Surely he would sell people the idea of receiving kundalini under the guise of enlightenment or higher consciousness. There is nothing new under the sun.

In my experience with deliverance – that is casting demons out of people by the authority of Jesus Christ – I have come across this spirit in people. Sometimes the spirit will lie dormant in a person but will retaliate against the person once he or she has repented and turned to the Lord Jesus Christ. Just all the more evidence that this spirit was a sinister spirit all along.

The Lord and God Jesus Christ, the Savior and Deliverer

If you are suffering from kundalini demon possession, there is no one who can deliver you from the subjection other than the Lord Jesus Christ. If you don’t have a savior, there is no better Savior than Jesus Christ.

Jesus is not entirely what they commonly say in Eastern religions and the New Age. Cults always deny the true nature of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is God Almighty (John 1:1; Revelation 1:8) and Creator (Colossians 1:16) who was conceived in the womb of Mary by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18-25). He incarnated in the flesh (John 1:14), lived a sinless life (1 Peter 2:22), died on the cross for the sins of many (Matthew 26:28), and was resurrected (Luke 24:6-7). And He is coming back to judge the world in righteousness (2 Timothy 4:1).

Jesus has power over satan’s kingdom. He routinely cast demons out of people during His earthly ministry (Matthew 8:31) and has given His believers the same authority (Luke 10:19). In fact, demons are terrified of Jesus (Mark 1:24-26; James 2:19). Jesus is the One who has all authority in heaven and earth (Matthew 28:18).

The Bible, the word of God, makes the call for all people to come to repentance:

16 - 1 (86).png

“And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” – Matthew 3:2

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” – Acts 3:19

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” – Proverbs 28:13

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” – Matthew 5:32-33

“But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;” – Romans 5:2

“When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.” – Acts 11:18

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” – Acts 17:30

The Bible also calls people to put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

“Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:” – Romans 3:22

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” – Romans 3:24

“To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” Romans 3:26

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

The Bible is clear that Jesus Christ is the only way:

“6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name [Jesus] under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

If you want someone to pray with you to receive Jesus and/or prayer for deliverance, then feel free to contact me.

If you are sincere you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

  1. SO TRUE! SPOT ON!!!
When I realized that I didn’t like what was happening in my body and in my life (btw caused by an enlightenment and yoga and tantra teacher, aka warlock, aka satanist!!) and when I just had come to the conclusion that I was severely demonized by the evil spirit of kundalini, I didn’t speak to many people about it, because I was also very frustrated, had cut myself off from society and friends and a “normal life” – but I remember speaking to 2 “new agers” whom I trusted and they were envious!!! And they said I had had a kundalini awakening and they seriously wanted me to teach them how I got there… what makes these things SO dangerous is that they also come with symptoms which are extremely pleasant and blissful and also very psychic and orgasmic, basically what everybody who is “into New Age” desires. I had mainly pleasant symptoms, yet, I knew that something wasn’t right and I searched and searched and searched – at first in all the wrong places, energy healers and the like and then, finally, I came across Derek Prince and got saved – HALLELUJAH!!!
I cannot warn people enough about this, it is absolutely certain a DEMONIC energy and it will kill you if you don’t get rid of it!
Stay away from yoga, meditation, tantra, hinduism and anything guruish or eastern or mantras or manifesting. If you have been involved in any of it, you need to repent and renounce it and ask OUR LORD for forgiveness- I am a walking, talking, living witness that only JESUS CHRIST can save from these things!
I hope that everyone reading this will understand and get saved themselves and also spread the information how dangerous this stuff IS!
GOD bless you for doing all this research and publishing THE TRUTH and I pray that many people will find your blog and that GOD will bless you richly for your work! In JESUS’ name! Amen.

      1. Sorry,
I am not led to watch this 1h long video, I have watched so many of them…how about you?
        Have you studied the bible?
        Have you explored all sides?
Me, I can say that I found the truth AFTER I had explored all the New Age stuff you could possibly study and that’s why I know that JESUS CHRIST is the o n l y truth, the way and the light.

I invite you to switch on your rational thinking and apply logic – if you are really interested in the truth?

How is it possible for JESUS to cast out devils if HE is supposed to be the devil himself?

You are deceived and this idea is not new, it is exactly what the Pharisees thought.

Read what HE says to this:

        Matthew 12: 25-28
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

I hope that you will find the truth.
I hope and pray that GOD will speak to you.
I hope that you will understand that you need to turn away from what you are believing at this point and turn towards the ONE and ONLY LIVING GOD.
I hope and pray that GOD will have mercy on you and will save your soul!

      Hi Eva,

Could you tell me what happens with your energy afterwards? Will you feel kind of the same as you did before the kundalini period? Or some new transformation agan?

And did you watch videos of Derek Prince or did you meet him in real life? I read that he passed away quite some time ago. So I was wondering if you could help me out in some way 🙂

      Best,

        Dear Joost,
your question is coming from a place of not knowing THE TRUTH, but I have good news for you:
GOD loves you and HE is interested in saving your soul, that’s why HE has led you here, to this blog, asking me this question!

Derek Prince died in 2003 and I have not met him in person, but there are other great Men of GOD whom you can turn to for help and to assist you with your desire to be delivered, Jamaal is one of them, he will pray for you!

All I can say is don’t bother yourself with these questions, what the “energy” is like – energy is demonic and if you want MY advice (as you asked me to help you out), the best advice I could possibly give you is give your life to JESUS and then, you will be in a totally different mindset and you won’t even believe in “energy” no more.

GOD bless you and I hope you will give your life to CHRIST and let HIM save you!

          Hey Eva,

I just read your message right now. I did not receive a notification. I have been reading the bible since that time in March and I really have felt some relieve by repenting and reading the word, particularly on the level of ‘arousal’. I have not been delivered, but I will continue reading.

Today I will have some meeting with someone that does biblical counseling, but I might contact Jamaal later.

          Thank you for your response,

    Dear J. Williams:

I would like to offer you a different perspective to your beliefs about kundalini awakening. Based on your opinion, a kundalini awakening is evil and associated with satan and demonic possession. I would like to share with you my experience with kundalini awakening.

I have experienced all of the symptoms of a kundalini awakening, some of which were difficult for me but ALL of which helped me grow and blossom into the person I am today. I still experience the physical symptoms which is the light vibrating buzzing in my body when I am in a relaxed state. This never happened to me before I started doing intense kundalini meditations and yoga. So after a lot of research I know what I am experiencing is what people define as a kundalini awakening.

For me, the experience has been magical, positive, and transformative in the best way. Before my awakening, I was a selfish, spoiled, insecure, and miserable girl who was a bit lost and going through life doing what everyone else did or wanted or expected. The woman I am today is someone I could only dream about becoming but I never knew how to get there.

Since my awakening I have experienced the following changes:
    – I have become more compassionate towards other people
    – I have completely stopped drinking alcohol because I feel it is a mask and it is not healthy for my body
    – I have transitioned to a plant based diet because I feel compassion for animals who suffer because of our inhumane and money-driven meat industry
    – I have began caring about our environment because I know that mother nature is a gift from God
    – I have become more fascinated by nature, I began to enjoy hiking and outdoor activities which I never did before
    – I am less focused on material possessions, I do not shop as much as I did before wasting my money on ‘things’
    – I have started to take very good care of my body through fitness and yoga, because of this I am confident and happy in my own skin
    – I have calmed my mind through meditation which has allowed me to see things in HD (high definition); I am more focused and organized
-I am able to read people and their emotions, and have become highly sensitive to others (which can be very difficult when dealing with toxic people)
    – I was able to quit my 9-5 job that I hated and grow my business which has been profitable and amazing for me; It has given me the freedom to travel and live my life to the fullest
    – It makes me happy to be positive with others and to spread love and light wherever I go
    – I love to encourage others to be the best versions of themselves
    – I love to see the best in people despite their flaws
    – I have improved my relationship with my mom which was turbulent before. I was never able to see her and the love she has for me the way I do now
    – My dream is to start some kind of non-profit organization or charity about a cause that I am passionate about
    – I realized that I don’t want to be on this earth paying bills until I die. I want to do something good for our world. This coms from a place in my heart that has expanded since my kundalini awakening.

With that being said, I would love to know your response to my kundalini awakening and how you think that any evil force can be behind my transformation.

What I dislike about your post is that it is scaring people and you are spreading a lot of fear and negativity (just like the news). Why don’t you try approaching life through love and light instead of with fear and hate? If you believe in God, do you think that he wants you to be spreading fear instead of love? Negativity instead of positivity? Ask yourself these questions.

I think it is wise to warn people. I wish someone had scared me before this experience to stop me from going into it! I have done most of the things you mention, being compassionate, better eating, healthier life, no drinking. Nothing to do with Kundalini. Kundalini has ONLY served to make me uncomfortable, unhappy, unbalanced physically and mentally, and unable to feel human.

Is that because you are afraid of it? Are you resisting?
There are many people who try kundalini but do it irresponsibly or without correct preparation.

I know I’m late to this comment section but I feel like I need to say something. I had the exact same experience you did almost to a T, except mine was Christian based. Initially what I went through was painful and confusing, but once I silenced my ego I could see that I was actually just healing and feeling love for the first time.

Healing through unresolved, repressed traumas. Allowing myself to feel emotions that I’d always suppressed. Dealing with a difficult childhood that had stunted me as an adult. Finding God’s purpose for me, rather than the purpose I’d created for myself. I became better, by first becoming “worse.”

I noticed the author of this post replied to your comment but ran around the essence of what you were saying. Which is a real problem in regards to your question.

Why would Satan make you more like a child of God through this awakening? Why would you become a better, more thoughtful, more compassionate, more considerate person through the hand of Satan? Why would you be practicing the fruits of His spirit if Satan gave you the fruits of his? The answer is you wouldn’t. Only unconditional love can change a heart and that’s exactly who Christ was and is.

So many people today don’t understand the weight of what a life of religious trauma or religious denial looks like for some people. Everyone wants to believe in something, even if that something is nothing.

Some people have Christ taken away from them through no fault of their own. Most of the time it’s hypocrisy within the church. To say someone (clearly practicing the fruits of His spirit) is simply masking a demons true intentions by being a better person is ludicrous. In this comment, there was also never a mention of the denial of Christ which in and of itself welcomes Him in.

Christ can change a heart before He introduces Himself as the changer. I’ve seen it a million times. He knows how to reach His people and when to reveal Himself. Better than we ever could. Everyone’s journey is different. Which is why it’s straight and it’s narrow. There’s no room to walk with anyone other than Christ. It’s just you and Him.

I went through this experience when I first turned to Christ. I had always believed in Jesus but I really gave my to him a few years ago. Through my following of the gospel, I had what people in this very article chain are calling a “demonic” possession.

While the process was difficult and often painful, the less I resisted and the more I worked- the clearer things got. Keep in mind, I was in the Bible constantly and praying reverently. Also began therapy with a Christian based therapist. Yet still had a lot of the negative “side effects.”

But the difference is, I knew that I was walking with Christ during my journey. I had already previously been living the word of God and it was time for my to call to action. I hurt, but I never struggled. I never lost hope that the pain would be worth it because I knew I had love right beside me.

People are often so misguided about what God needs from us while we’re here. He needs real effort on our part. Real effort is tiresome and can be painful. It can be hard and it can be confusing. But it’s necessary. That means dealing with things, not suppressing or repressing or passing off.

Our entire being rejects ever being in pain so we suppress or repress or pray it away. We blame suffering or depressive episodes or anxieties on the Devil. Which in a way is true, but the root is wrong. It’s giving the Devil too much power.

The truth is God can walk with you and Christ can call you through but you still have to move your feet and do the work, specifically when you’re dealing with suppression and repression of unresolved traumas.

Unresolved traumas become a curse to the body that Satan can easily infiltrate. And spoiler alert, we all have them whether we ever acknowledge that or not. Housing the wrong things is why temptation is so easy to fall into. If you’re not full of the spirit but full of unresolved traumas, well that speaks for itself.

The more you’re filled with the painful stuff, the less you can be filled with the spirit. You can pray all you want but if your heart is not earnestly and willingly asking- you will never get an answer from God.

Like I said, I know this to be true because I used to pray from a religiously inflated heart. A sense of superiority because my faith said I was chosen. I never heard God when I was like this, only my ego. And when an ego (specifically the spiritual ego) is unchecked, it can sound just like a higher power. Many Christians confuse the Holy Spirit with their own egos.

Again, I used to do this same thing so I now recognize the difference between the two- because of spiritual discernment that only came after TRULY giving Christ my heart and being willing to do the internal work He asked me to do.

God doesn’t make His children hurt just for giggles. He is not even the one actually hurting us. We’re hurting ourselves by holding on to the wrong things rather than surrendering them to Him. To do that is a painful task. God will show His children their harbored hurt and let them give it to Him. But the only way to do that is through acknowledging that it’s there, which can be painful.

It’s only natural that so many years of repressed things coming up at once could feel like the Devil. When really, it could just be pain that you’re finally seeing at the surface. And with intense pain, you can have adverse effects and reactions. Spiritual cleansings aren’t easy. Jesus himself said we’d be pruned. Pruning isn’t a gentle process, but it yields more fruit in the end.

I think what’s necessary when people go through these “awakenings” is to ask what the source is and who the source is. Offer guidance and if you don’t have the understanding, don’t give the guidance.

I do this for a living and it’s given me incredible insight into Christ’s influence and how He works through HIS people. People have these experiences all the time, and sure some of them are demonic but some of them aren’t. That’s important to acknowledge and from what I’ve seen here, that’s not happening all the time.

There is a lot of pain in this world but not a lot of understanding. We need to do better.

I acknowledge that I have also known Satan for all of my life. Sometimes he’s felt more like a friend than a foe, but I know that’s the falsity. That’s only the comfort of being allowed to sit in misery rather than grow through pain. I’ve never felt loved by him but I do by Christ. And there lies the difference between the two.

Christ won’t let you suffer, He did that for you. But He will prune you. And sometimes that means getting rid of weeds and cutting dead weight.

In the future, I’d ask for people to follow this thought process. Know that not all of these experiences are evil or done with evil intention. Mine happened by reading the Bible and praying. I’d never even known these things existed until it happened to me.

Sometimes people go through these experiences because of repressed and unresolved traumas that God is bringing to the surface. You can’t ask God to take something away that you don’t know is there. He has to show it to you so you can surrender it to Him. That’s when you’ll heal.

Satan is clever yes, but God is greater. Spiritual (and/or kundalini) awakenings happen in Christianity, just as they do in less Christian practices. You can take Christ away by not having the eyes to see or the ears to hear, even if by ignorance. Practice discernment and not absolutism. Practice in Christ and not the ego.

And most of all, practice discernment always. Know that even we as Christians can get it wrong sometimes. If we were always right, Jesus wouldn’t have had to die. Seek God with your whole heart and you will find Him, even if it’s unconventional. Saying experiences are the Devil, can really be damaging to those that actually happened in Christ.

I’m a million times better and struggle way less than I ever would have without my experience. I know that’s all due to Christ and His guidance. Otherwise I probably would have had the same reactions many others did in this thread. It’s a scary experience, but it’s not always Satan- though sometimes it is.

      God bless.

    3. Thank you thank you!!! So many say that it is evil! I can say ditto to most of your positive results.

Since childhood I felt like there was something spiritually special about myself. I never told anyone, anyone. We all know why. All of my life I have few friends. Since childhood the catholic teachings of Christ stood firm with me. I chose that narrow path that leads to few friends. As a child, in age, I always ‘knew’ or felt from within that is true about God. As a young adult I grew distant from Catholicism because of the many – let’s call them ‘irony’s’ of it all. I sought many religions. What I learned was that the truth is spread out. If we all came together and put those parts together…
So no church but I lived and still do live that lonely and narrow path! Life got to me and I experienced depression and PTSD (various). As a band-aid I took Rx and spoke to a Dr to learn how to find my path back to me. Finding my ‘default’ I weaned myself off meds, while Dr’s tried to keep me on them. Looking at the world, looking at why people do what they do from the – how did their parents treat them and what happened, maybe, to them as to why they are that way, how many centuries down the line, what it caused, helped me greatly to remember how to accept that this has to be. It is a part of Gods plan.

The serpent is both good and bad – DUALITY is sewn into the fabric of this universe.

The serpent tempting Eve had to be in order for us to experience evil to know about good. So is this serpent evil or is it good? We can not know good without evil. This is something that Kundalini opened my mind to. This enlightenment taught me how to read tarot cards. Taught me reiki. MANY felt something from me BEFORE they even knew anything of my reiki ability. Things really happened. In my mind, I would ask, and I ‘felt’ the answers. I’d ask more than once just to be clear on responses. I asked by calling the Holy Spirit saying names always to make sure intentions were there. I took all precautions that I knew to take. Angel numbers kept me fed. (yes crazy) but my weather station would crank and make sounds and the digits were my angel numbers to look up. This is how I got much of my information… of which 80% came true when it said it would. I chose not to risk that 20% on innocent people. God is correct 100%. Why would evil be this good. Why would good leave out 20%? I’m so confused by this experience.
I did not set out to awaken my spirit. I set out to heal myself mentally to survive it mentally. I had no idea what a spiritual awakening was. What I learned all happened after these 2 awakenings. So why bother me with 80% accuracy. I am who I am to the core. Did satan think that this drive by would cause me to go evil when the gifts did not happen? Can’t change the core of a person so on to my next guess on why did this happen?

ALL of it was positive… mixed with lies. Things I was told, things that I was permitted to “see”. But when somethings that turned out to ‘not happen’ occur, when these things that did not happen begin to effect others, I chose to push kundalini out of my life. 90% successful after 40 days, so far.

When I realised that my spirit woke, then weeks later kundalini awakening, all of my childhood thoughts of ‘being special’ (for what reason I was to be special remains unknown still), I thought, were to be realised. I will not say ALL of what I was told would happen on my 58th birthday. But some of those things would include my becoming a psychic medium, who would become world renowned, helping departed souls find their way ‘home’ to the spirit world. None of it happened. If you are to believe in something you should dive in, truly, so I did. I also told myself that if this did not really happen to remove myself from what would be and evil spirit. But how is is evil when nothing but an enlightenment happened? I read the bible again but understood it! If I had a question, all I needed to do was to pause, ask, wait a few moments and I ‘knew’. I never heard voices. I simply would come to know things. I was ‘given’ books to read that only opened my mind even more. I did so many things. I posted so many video with the Holy Spirit speaking through me. Yes, through me, I would want to speak on something but by the time I was finished I spoke on something else, of what seemed to be true, about the Gospel, etc.

But when more than a few things did not happen, like the gifts that I was to receive and help the world, did not happen, I kept my word to myself and removed all posted materials. What made sense to me could no longer be trusted, was my theory. When in doubt throw it out. Why risk the harm of others. But then again other than (of what would happen to me and for me) ‘prophecies’ not happening, I can not say anything was negative, evil just lies because they did not happen. Not becoming a psychic medium is a major enough of an event or non event, to have to say, okay, time to let go. How many more lies do I need. But like I said, no evil happened just enlightenment. To this day I still think sharper, I can figure things faster. I simply steer clear of any leadership or spiritual conversations since I can’t trust 100%. I still walk that narrow path, seemingly even more lonely now.
I’ll read all of your thoughts – excluding the obvious ones that I won’t bother.

  3. Hello A.M.,

Thanks for visiting this blog and giving a well written reply to my post.

As you can read in my post and Eva’s post in the comment section, the devil can given pleasent feelings and even “bless” people. The devil is very deceiving. He is the “god” (a false god) of this age who runs this earth until Jesus returns. The devil once offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world so surely he can “bless” people. As long as the person is on the broad road to destruction (hellfire), which Jesus warned about, the enemy can “bless” the person to try to keep the person away from turning to the Lord and God Jesus Christ for salvation – to have your sins blotted out. But I guarantee you if you repented and turned the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life, and the only way to the Father, the evil spirits that are attached to you will turn against you. This happened to me. Once I repented of my sins and turned to Jesus all hell broke loose against me. Demons literally tried to kill me. And I was never involved in New Age practices such as meditation and yoga which are huge demonic door openers, so I know others who were in New Age can possibly have a worst experience.

That said, I have prayed for many people that have been tormented by this so-called kundalini spirit. If it is a good thing then why does it torment some people? Why does it try to resist when it is prayed against by the authority of Jesus Christ? The fact is it is a demon.

You may see this as negative or hateful but the Biblical truth is we are all under the wrath of God, and we are all in darkness until we repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. The enemy has you focused on the here and now and not about the state of your eternal soul. Jesus asked what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul?

I would strongly suggest you repent and turn to Jesus so He can give you the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. The living God is real and He is love but He is also a just Judge and His only provision to escape His judgment is by turning to the Lord Jesus, the Man who knew no sin but became sin for you on the cross. He died, was buried, and was resurrected and His coming back to judge the world in righteousness.

If you ever want to pray to receive Jesus let me know.

Spirit mocks religion then uses it by hurting me and saying repent your sins. I’ve done deliverance spirit swearing at priest but refuses to leave. Try an Eastern Orthodox priest.
I’m not sure what I believe in, but I’d try that, or a proper Taoist, which is hard to find. An acupuncturist would know where to start.

But definitely try the Eastern Orthodox, their holy water is purportedly more powerful than the Catholic holy water but I’m not 100% on that.

Please don’t meddle in the occult. Even actual shamans and occultists advise to be very careful and know exactly what you are doing. There is a misconception that non-Christians do not believe in demons. This is false. The real question is, what exactly to they believe.

But yes, East Orthodox. Possibly a monastery if you need too.

Also, search your heart and see if there is anyone you have failed to forgive in life. Be honest. You must forgive them.

It may be like a process and a journey. For in my case, the Lord is healing me and has been healing me of chronic fatigue syndrome, which is so awful and vile and dastardly I suggest it could only be demonic.

I have also been sober from a particular addiction for nigh on 17 months and whilst I’ve been getting healing, I’ve also been under quite dreadful and intense spiritual attack! I have put my faith, my hope and my complete trust in Jesus Christ at this time. I’m still in the process of recovery. What we can spend years and years getting into, can sometimes take a while to get out of, even when we radically obey Jesus Christ.

My house is slowly but surely getting a makeover. Gardens being trimmed, trees cut down, old shed dismantled. Toilet, bathroom, kitchen etc being cleaned, new stuff, things being moved, cleared and thrown out to make it nice and habitable after years of neglect. I believe the Lord is showing me symbolically here what is happening to me. It’s been a slow but sure process. As the house becomes fit for me, my wife, brother and friends visiting, I become ready for God’s plans in my life, fit and well, cleansed and ready to live a new life in the Lord, and ready and prepared to be a container for His Holy Spirit.

My experiences started after attempted suicide as a result of severe depression. A demon later came in my head, and using his smooth voice, kept trying to persuade me to kill myself. It was most terrible experience I ever had. Soon after, when I was by myself one night, a vertical column of warmth came down upon me and heated me up. It felt like being in the arms of Jesus. I melted like wax. This brought me into a search for spirituality. I was trying to follow Jesus. But somehow through my church, I was lead into yoga. One said it would be good to meditate at the Buddhist temple. I had what was called a “kundalini blast”, a term given by an Indian guru who sent me a question list to see if I had suffered “kundalini syndrome”. When a friend brought me to a yoga studio for the first time, I had what looked like epileptic seizures. I was face down on the concrete floor writhing with trembling. I did a lot of research into it, trying to understand what had happened. I learned in detail the pathways and locations that kundalini would follow. That led to going to a weekend retreat where I felt spacey afterwards. I thought prana or kundalini energy was simply a natural part of one’s energetic body, never considering it to be demonic. It was deception and seduction. The list goes on and on. I read about remote viewing, ESP, aural colors, astral projection. Once I caused electrical disturbances in my apartment. Another time I had fainted and was briefly transported to another time and place, seemingly it was a monastery or church in Spain hundreds of years ago. I could see the energies moving up and down my fingers. I even tried to measure the voltage. I went several times to a shakipat – kundalini meditation in a tiny room behind a yoga studio. During the session, I saw the squiggly energies buzz all over our guide. The light in the room turned red. I had spasmodic movements (kriyas) that lasted over 1.5 years. But one night I asked the Holy Spirit to purify me and to not deny me, Within five seconds, I was flat down on the floor. A force surrounded me and clamped down on me so intensely that I could not breathe. I was paralyzed. It let up after 30 seconds and I caught a breath. It clamped down again, and then again. I was in a soaking sweat. I was terrified something was trying to possess me. The next day at work it happened again in my office! I scurried home and slept for three days. One of the clergy from the church said I had a mystical experience. I found my way into searching for union with God. I still had Patanjali and other occult books around. I got my Reiki master attunement and had a pendulum divination crystal that reacted to occult energies. It would even glow! But even with all this stuff going on, I was still searching for the Truth. I found my way into the Orthodox church and had an epiphany on my first visit. I have repented of all the demonic occult practices that I was seduced into and flee from all of it. Now I live to go to Church, visit monasteries, and pray to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the Resurrection, the Truth, the Way, the Life. He is my Redeemer and my Shepherd. I am nothing without Jesus.

The Orthodox compiled the bible at the 7 ecumenical councils. The Church Fathers already went over the possible idolatry at the council for iconoclasm. Please study history. You do not have any writings on this site that show you have actually studied Orthodoxy thoroughly.

Dear J., thanks for your comment. You may wish to investigate the issue regarding idols in the Orthodox church. I think you are referring to the icons and believe we worship them. That is truly not the case. Full explanations from within the Orthodox church can be found on this topic should you wish to know.

    Hi J.,

Usually I am not the type of guy feeling the urge to contribute in any way, especially when it comes to the internet. I live a life without smartphone and as less technology as possible. Please excuse my writing though, as I am not a native speaker. I am writing you from Germany in those times of corona because I really need to counter your statement very politely and with as much sensivity and respect as possible through anonymous writing and inbetween human beings.

You are right: Kundalini can be dangerous and it is very, VERY likely that this energy will fuck up ones life completely. Upside down. You can and maybe will have to loose EVERYTHING. I did! Because this energy just doesnt give a flying f*** about ones life or wellbeing. I experienced literally anything when it comes to the dark side of Kundalini. But that is not the point. New Age spirituality definitely goes into the wrong direction but when reading your post, it seems obvious, that you too do run after and believe in a guru, In your case, and many other’s cases, his name is just Jesus. Do you really believe, that Jesus wasnt touched by that force? How could he not have been, if this force is at the bottom of everything, having created even a Jesus Christ? But that is still, not the point. Again, I am not criticizing you in any way. I just want to tell you, what your post AND your attitude is severely missing:

Kundalini is not positive. Neither is it negative. It is inbetween. And that’s why it doesnt discern, it does not judge and therefore is not considerate of the individual experiencing it, be it sought for purposely or without any specific intention to do so. We all are evil AND good. We have both sides inside of us. Denying our dark sides does not necessarily mean to be good, nor means being evil “to not be good”. If you start to mess with this energy you better be prepared of facing exactly those dark sides inside of you. The more you resist and deny them, the more trouble you will be facing. Finding god doesnt mean to believe in Jesus Christ, nor in any other guru, word or structure. It means integrating the positive and the negative to be united inside of you, because only through opposites the middle of them, the necessary compromise, can be clearly seen. Living with kundalini in a society like ours, is definitely not possible. You will have to withdraw or you find something to blame it on and to excuse yourself from running away from yourself. If you follow somebody else, if you believe in something or somebody else than yourself, than your are definitely blame shifting. it doesnt matter whom you shift that blame to, the only thing that matters is, that you take the blame away from yourself. But this is exactly the spot where you should be looking at.

i appreciate your writing but i hope that even others, apart from you, could see, that you are writing inspired, creative. So,you really believe you havent been touched by the same force, your lord Jesus Christ was once struck by? You wouldnt even be able to breathe, if this demonic force wasnt working 24/7/365 inside of you. You believe you are good. You are not. Nobody is. As well as nobody is bad and at the same time we are both. We have always been. Even your lord Jesus Christ, but he was somehow able to integrate both of them and decided to go for the good. That makes us human.

    Take care.

I have been dealing with this kundalini experience for a year and a half and it is the worst experience of my life. I think it is good to post the negative experiences so that people can make informed decisions. I don’t accept your proposition that we are all both good and evil because this energy is definitely not something to “accept”. I will not give up on getting rid of it and going back to feeling alive and human and safe.

Kundalini is enough of a headache for those who have it, we dont need fear mongering christian pastors adding to that difficulty. You are talking about things you have no experience with. All to gain condemnation points for you pool of personal and collective energy (and christianity is a pool of fear based energy, ready to capitalise on the hopeless state to pounce and take over the vulnerable person).

No one really knows what kundalini is. Whether its good, bad, neutral or bag veiled under the appearance of good. One thing i do know is that many do go through the dark night of the soul. Jesus went through it, Job went through it, john of the cross went through it, mother teresa went through it(and died in it) as did many many a saint in every religion including currently living people. When either your own darkness or the collective darkness (yes that includes many evil spirits) is opened up to you (and this world is polaric, opening up to the light also opens you up to the darkness, there is no getting away from it and hiding, jesus spent years in the desert dealing with the ‘sins of the world’ and eventually died processing them). This darkness is not merely the dark energy from humanity’s unresolved shadow but also, all the darkness that exists far outside of planet earth and this singular universe. demonic entities and greater forces of chaos and darkness that are universal(and greater) in scale, that have their own intelligence and desires, get opened up to the individual who is rising in energy and awareness. These are the actual forces that jesus spent 20 years alone in the desert trying to process through his own body. Processing means alchemically transforming and healing/cathrcising. Only part of that great darkness was the sins of mankind. Every person who is cracked open energetically/spiritually with or without kundalini (as there are other methods which dont directly require opening up the rising current of firy energy that you are referring to as kundalini) will be faced with both personal demons and ACTUAL demons (and things bigger than that). No saint or gnosified person has ever had it easy. Turning the other cheek, having no thought for the morrow are ways in which a person can have the energy of their heart available to loving embrace, suffer and ‘change’ the dark/painful energies that often find their way to a spiritually awakening person. Heaven often does not open up without going through hell. And many that go through it lose everything.

There is great darkness in the world (a lot of it to be found in the hearts of christians). And no one can know ultimately whether what jesus himself went through was not an orchestration of evil forces. After all, he did cry on the cross in pain ‘oh god oh god why have you forsaken me’. These were the cries of a suffering man(whatever else he may have been). Kundalini is a great challenge, one that can not be gotten rid of by praying or becoming a christian. I have known many accounts of people who were either going through the dark night of the soul and/or through kundalini, accepted jesus christ and aside from the initial oomph that comes from the intake of a collective/created energy source (yes that is real and exists for many religions and cults throughout the world, not just christianity) of various churches which gave them some comfort and kept the demonic forces at bay, they soon returned and the people ended up in much the same place that they were before. Accepting various versions of jesus didnt actually do anything .

The point is, we dont need you to be adding more fear to the process without offering any solution. You dont know what this is and your judgement and fear and promise of salvation dont actually do anything. You cant ‘cure’ kundalini by accepting your version of jesus christ. It doesnt work that way. So please, dont capitalise on people’s fears, hopelessness and suffering.

And something to add to that. Demons, real ones, feed off of suppressed emotions, drives, and fear/guilt. Fear and guilt are two of the deepest darkest energies that live in existence. They trancend this earth and the world we know. They are forces of destruction and corruption that only find limited manifestation in this world. Christians LOVE fear and guilt. And this is what makes them prey. Suppressing sexuality, homophobia, partiarchy (which suppresses woman), guilt/shame as a bedrock for faith and fear at the heart is the working of the great evil ones. These are the actual doorways that demons enter into your body and being. The churches profess to be about love, but they are actually about fear and guilt. Thus feeding the very demons which they profess to be a cure of. Much like the kundalini (which may be good or bad or neither) you become posessed by an energy that is not you and it drives you to do things that are harmful to your soul.

I’m an open minded person, so i read your entire article in order to see your point of view. If you are open minded enough to hear a different perspective, I’d be happy to share and hopefully inspire you to think outside of the box.
I’m one of those rare people on this planet who had a full and permanent Kundalini awakening that is only increasing in intensity over the last 15 years. I never practiced Kundalini yoga, and never wanted to awaken Kundalini. If anything, Christ and Bible were always my main guidance. They were not my only guidance, because you can’t understand what Bible is really about unless you understand all other world’s esoteric philosophies, but I am a Christian, and I assure you that my love for Christ was deeper and more sincere than 99% of Christians ever feel or experience. Yet, God has chosen that Kundalini should awaken in me with full force. Why do you think that is? Do you really think that life of Godly people is about status quo?
What do you think that the story of Apocalypse is all about? It is about the inner transformation that every soul needs to experience upon its awakening! When God chooses to awaken life inside of you, that life is Kundalini force. Kundalini IS a destroyer. It destroys everything that you are NOT, and it doesn’t stop destroying until nothing is left other than God.

When Kundalini is finished with you, you realize that the only evil there is, is the illusion of duality between good and evil. Kundalini activates this inner war of duality within a person when it first awakens. It activates all demonic and divine forces inside of you so that you can transcend all of them, and out of the ashes of Kundalini destruction your consciousness raises to a level where duality no longer exists. Then you understand that the very force of destruction that you as a limited human being consider to be evil, is actually a force that is trying to liberate you from the illusion you believe that you are.
So, you can talk about God, read about God, think about God, speculate about God, but you don’t know God. I KNOW God, because I am one with God. And i could never be that if Kundalini didn’t first destroy everything I thought i was, and all my misconceptions.

Sorry to aay but you are greatly deceived. That Kundalini is a demon. I guarantee you if you repented and turn to the Jesus Christ of the Bible (not your false New Age Jesus), that spirit will turn against you and will try to kill you.

You are not a Christian. You don’t know the God of the Bible who is the true God. I probably can’t even quote 5 Bible verses off the top of your head.

Turn away from your sin and turn to Jesus. Throw away all of your New Age garbage and study the Bible. If you don’t turn to the real Jesus for salvation then hellfire awaits you.

Disagree. Duality exists. This is the crux of the problem. There is good and there is bad. There is happy and there is sad. As a human being I strongly prefer to experience my dualities. To compress them into one reality is sad and lifeless.

    Spot on.
Let me tell you. I have found my way back to Christianity in the last few years, and with every passing day, my faith is becoming stronger and my eyes are opening up about so many things around me.
Many things had happened before to me, most of which due to satanic stuff but it is irrelevant to this point.
My sister has always been the trouble maker in our family and act like an outcast, she was never outcast by my family. Around maybe 2 or 3 years ago, she started studying Kundalini yoga and applied to become certified teacher. My sister, mother and I , all three live in three different countries but because my sister lives closer- I try to visit several times a year. Over the course of those workshops my sister became completely obsessed. She would listen to these mantras and songs 24/7, do her meditations for 3 hours a day and talk complete nonsense like she was in her own world. She started getting other physical symptoms like not being able to eat, when she eats she would throw up, constant pains and depressions. On top of it she started telling me how dead people come to her in her meditations and she talks to them, about being ‘turned on’ all the time and having spontaneous fits of orgasm during the day, dreaming of sexual relations etc etc. Due to unfortunate events in my life, I know that all those are signs of demonic possession of some kind. She told me about the dead people and more serious things lately when it finally made sense. My sister has always hidden so many things from us so I think this is why it took me time to realise what the issue was.
This demonic practice estranged her from the family…the only one she did not argue with or ignore was my mother, because she would not tell her anything.
It was recently when I decided to research Kundalini as I knew there was a reason for me to feel like my stomach is turning even with the mentioning of it.
My sister gave up the practice ( I asked for help of God with that) but she seems to be so far away from God that she does not understand any of the things that happened to her, ever…and unfortunately, I can see she i again trying to get involved in another demonic thing….reiki…
The only thing left for me is to pray for her and hope she will find her path. I realised that sometimes a person need to walk the way to repent from all practices, but not before they lose themselves on the way.
I am no saint myself… at all… I never knew what yoga was, or many other practices. I have done yoga but I only understood it to be a serious of exercises to help with my back problem. I never saw it as anything else….

I believe that anything ‘spiritual’, whatever it is and wherever it comes from, outside of the God of the Holy Bible, His Kingdom and His only begotten son Jesus Christ, is false and ultimately satanic.

Narrow minded? Religious fundie? No, I believe it’s merely the plain truth. Only through Jesus Christ can we find God. Only through God can we truth, healing, guidance and eternal life and salvation.

The occult, to put it plainly, is a crock! I’ve been there. I’m not going back.

This article is based on woeful misunderstanding. Kundalini is a block in prana (if you say you’ve done ‘research’ Google that doesn’t cut the mustard, so you’ve some reading to do), which is an ‘energy’. No one but the ignorant would ever think that there is a snake-daemon ready to climb up your spiritual spine and cause problems. The snake metaphor, an image that isn’t to be taken literally, serving to illustrate that if you relax the blockage of the ideal flow of prana (kill the snake, not waken it in fact) , like when you kill a curled up snake it uncurls because it doesn’t have the muscle tension keeping it curled, energy flow smoothly. It’s not Kundalini energy causing insanity or daemonic possesion or insanity. If anything is a shock, it is a how shocking your old persective appears from the position of the new one.

Since you don’t seem to mind telling people what’s what (with total disregard for things you don’t know about or whether you’ve represented it accurately), let me preach at you: a spiritual person is someone who is engaged with the world and learns from it, rather than shrinks away in fear and superstition. And if you find that your meditation reveals what a mess you are, then you need to do something about that, rather than blame it on nonsense. Bat shit crazy is just bat shit crazy.

Disagree. I am not shrinking in fear. I am using my free will to fight off this awful experience of kundalini and I will never accept it. I have free will. God wants me to have free will. Kundalini tries to take away this free will.

  14. Also for some that have commented that demonic forces are only in our minds think again. Our family went through a 6 year demonic haunting and we had 2 church sanctioned exorcisms-this starting from a neighbor involved in Satanism. Large pieces of furniture being moved, me lifted in the air fifteen feet and dropped, punched, bitten, scratched. Pounding on the walls-horrible. That is an organized force. Smells of sulfur in our home. You have to experience it to understand fully. The Bible talks about Evil and for the most part it’s true. Satan’s greatest achievement is a skeptical public is is immersed in narcissisms. I didn’t even know what Kundalini was until it happened to me. I now believe I am a victim of yet another attack. This has don’t nothing but harm me and to compromise me spiritually. My relationship with Christ never did that. I feel comforted and under his guidance. I want this to stop. Almost 4 years of this and I feel like I am in danger. I detach from this as much as I can. We really have no idea what this is for. But it feels destructive to me. Caused immense pain.

You mentioned being Catholic and having stigmata.
Catholicism is not the same as Christianity in fact it is not of God at all.

If you ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord you will receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and you won’t experience these awful things any more.
Buy a KIng James Bible and study yourself at home. Once you become a Christian, the Holy Spirit will lead you in all things and give you the peace you seek. We are near the end times now so please seek Jesus while you still can.

Your readings have been misinterpreted. Please, meditate for your own answers. Report findings without claiming truths.

My spirit did wake and the Goddess Kundalini Shatki is my Guide. She is within me and I love you to death on earth and into the after, this is a mistake. She is nothing close to evil. Please, do not take me to be prideful, please, do not. You will be seeing me more in the future. Please, anyone who reads this, do not stress, do understand that this person is correct, Satan and others will try to mislead you. Pray, meditate, listen in silence if you must, you will find that not only is she real, she is about love, family and enlightenment to be the best that we can be. Turn of the TV – take breaks from media – they take away your inner peace. Your anxieties run high with it in your life so please, remove it all so you can feel answers.

She loves you, all of you. I only share her messages.

I grew up a catholic girl and volunteered to be an alter girl – complete with a cardinal visit.
My spirit woke and I still believe some of Catholicism. Yes, I might share the same
words back to you, my love. But what you are missing is, as on earth there are many races and belief systems, there are the same various cultures in this universe. How can one completely think that we are the only, in the huge universe, we can only see a small part of it. How could we possibly know entirely that there is nothing else there? We also thought the world was flat once and boy oh boy did we miss that mark. Just because we do not know something, does not mean that something can not be. I also understand that even before the bible came along, man has a tendency to modify the truth for his benefit. Nothing has changed, for this is the way we were created. It is what it is. It’s important to keep this in mind. So many religions that KILL because they choose not to entertain. What God wants us to kill? Still, we do. We kill for religion. Only to say how can say for sure which is correct. Why does there have to be only one? Why can’t we all celebrate the way we wish to celebrate and allow others to do the same, in the name of love? Religion is love. Worship is love. If we all could do that one simple thing, allow each other to have their own freedom of choice – choices all being for the Greater Good – it would not matter who’s Greater Good because the end goal is the same for all, to be saved and meet our maker having pleased by our own individual performances.

I entertained the thought of Catholicism and will continue to do so, to be fair, can you at least entertain the thought? Not believe, but role play with it, Entertain the thought, to be fair and show your truly open mind.

“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it”
        Aristotle

At least we can still agree to disagree and still love one another!

Jesus was just a charlatan who deceived a lot of Jews and proclaimed himself messiah. If you talk bad about other religions and their philosophies in sheer ignorance , then it’s your fault. Keep in mind that everybody adheres to a specific faith , not just Christianity. Likewise , Caste System of Hinduism (quoted from ur previous article) was created for division of labour , but it changed over time due to dominance of higher castes , but in present world it is declining. The Kundalini is a spiritual awakening of the atman or the soul , by the activation of the 7 spiritual chakras of our human body – each chakra can be activated by pleasing the seven forms of Goddess Shakti present in each chakra. Practise meditation properly , and BTW the Sanatana dharma is the first religion of the world.
