A touching testimony of a woman’s journey to the truth.

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only-begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

  1. Sweet and true and very relatable at the same time.
    Occurs to me again and again that HE seems to often use what I find such an ingenious plot: to let us learn for sure that the devil and evil is real.
    And then lead us to conclude that GOD and THE TRUTH must be even more real…
    I love it every single time I hear about it, it’s also how HE brought me „around“ and at the same time, HE had always been there and helped me, even before I got saved… anyhow, I loved this!
    Every testimony we hear, see or watch edifies our own walk with THE LORD, doesn’t it?

      1. So, your argument is to try to claim I wasn’t a Christian since I am not a Christian now. That is the same argument any theist would use against someone who deconverted from them and accepted a new religion. It’s a poor version of the no true scotsman fallacy.

        But it’s awfully easy for you to try to lie about me to avoid explaining why your god has failed to fulfill your promise. IT also begs the question why your god ignores a prayer from a Christian or not. Your prayer didn’t work for me.

        1. Well, God supernaturally changed my life. Surely He can do the same for you.

          You have to be born again of the Spirit. God loves you. Please truly repent of your sins and receive the Lord Jesus Christ – who died for the sins of many and was resurrected.

            Now, do you believe these people when they make the same claim as you do? And if you don’t think it is the same claim, please explain why.

          6. ah, such a classic moving of the goalposts, when your claim is found to be false. It’s always interesting when Christians try to invent differences between their religion and others. This is most obvious when Christians try to claim that they have a “relationship” not a “religion” with their god. This is a result of Christians wanting to refuse responsibility for their and their fellows actions, and to try to refuse responsibility of what their religion has done.

            The problem seems to be how is father defined by christainity. It appears to be because Christians must believe that the creator must be the progenitor, e.g. father. So, we have allah being the creator too, so what prevents this entity from being the same father?

            the other problem is that Allah is the same god as God is in the bible, aka also known as Lord, This entity is described exactly like your god “He is unique (wāḥid) and inherently one (aḥad), all-merciful and omnipotent”. Qu’ran 85:14 “And He is the Forgiving and Loving” Muslims also have 99 names for Allah, and they are everything a father would be. al-Wadud “he Affectionate/ Ever-Affectionate/ Loving One/ Loving/ the One Who Tenders and Warm Hearts” al-Wali, the friend and helper.

            Christians also claim that their god is mysterious and unable to be understood, especially when they can’t answer a hard question about this god and its actions. The bible was supposedly divinely required so that humans would know this god. This is just what is claimed about the Qu’ran. But if it is not, and only JC is the way to know this god, hmmm, that means that Jews never knew their god, and per the bible, they know their god quite well. And Islam has all of those stories in it from the OT.
            So, which is it, J? Who do you want to claim doesn’t know their god again?

            Qu’ran 29:46 “And do not argue with the People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, “We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him”

          8. and yep, you can insist on qualities of beings you can’t even show exist. Well, since you can’t even show you are a baptized believer of Christ as savior, there’s not much reason to think you know what this god is. You have as much evidence as the Muslims: none.

          10. Well, again we see that J hasn’t read his bible. This supposed savior of your says that he intentionally uses parables to make sure that some people will never be able to accept him (Matthew 13 and Mark 4 and Luke 8), and Paul says that only those that your god chooses can accept him. Romans 9.

            It is a shame that a Christian doesn’t know his own bible or chooses to lie about what it says. Unfortunately, many Christians seem to think no one has read the bible so they can make up what they want about it.

          11. God desires you to be saved but you have to humble yourself. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6-7).

            More scriptures:

            Ezekiel 33:11—“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn ye, turn from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” Nothing could be more clear. God desires that the wicked should turn from their evil ways. God pleads with these sinners and urges them to repent and be converted. “Why will ye die, O house of Israel?”

            2nd Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”

            1st Timothy 2:3-4: “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

            Isaiah1:18: “Come now, and let us REASON together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

            Deuteronomy 30:19: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that both thou and thy seed may live.”

            Joshua 24:15: “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

            1 John 2:2: “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of THE WHOLE WORLD.”

            Hebrews 2:9: “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for EVERY MAN.”

            Matthew 23:37: “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and YE WOULD NOT!”

            John 5:39-40: “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And YE WILL NOT come to me, that ye might have life.”

            “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men…” (Tit. 2:11a).

            “…that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16b).

Romans 9: Even before they had been born or had done anything good or bad (so that God’s purpose of election might continue, 12 not by works but by his call) she was told, “The elder shall serve the younger.” 13 As it is written,
            “I have loved Jacob,
            but I have hated Esau.”
            14 What then are we to say? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses,
            “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
            and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
            16 So it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God who shows mercy. 17 For the scripture says to Pharaoh, “I have raised you up for the very purpose of showing my power in you, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he chooses, and he hardens the heart of whomever he chooses.
            God’s Wrath and Mercy
            19 You will say to me then, “Why then does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” 20 But who indeed are you, a human being, to argue with God? Will what is molded say to the one who molds it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one object for special use and another for ordinary use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience the objects of wrath that are made for destruction; 23 and what if he has done so in order to make known the riches of his glory for the objects of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— 24 including us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? 25 As indeed he says in Hosea,

            Israel’s Unbelief
            30 What then are we to say? Gentiles, who did not strive for righteousness, have attained it, that is, righteousness through faith; 31 but Israel, who did strive for the righteousness that is based on the law, did not succeed in fulfilling that law. 32 Why not? Because they did not strive for it on the basis of faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, 33 as it is written,
            “See, I am laying in Zion a stone that will make people stumble, a rock that will make them fall,
            and whoever believes in him[f] will not be put to shame.”

            It’s quite a god that picks and chooses who can and can’t accept him, and who intentionally lies to his supposed chosen people, or at least that what the new people who want themselves to be considered the “chosen people” say.
