Just a quick but serious warning. A woman contacted me because she got demonized after listening to a video (I will not divulge the name of the video for obvious reasons) with New Age-frequency sounds (or binaural beats) for about 20 minutes. She found this blog from doing research on the symptoms of Kundalini and asked me for deliverance prayer as she suspected she got demonized as a consequence of listening to it.

She said she was listening to music—chilling, and then YouTube on autoplay played a video of New Age frequency sounds. Then she began to vibrate intensely, saw a bright light with her eyes closed, felt as if she was floating, got scared, and immediately took off her earphones. She said when she closed her eyes, she would get light-headed. Even days after the experience, she felt dizzy.

Now, how do we know she got demonized? Before she even called me when we were chatting on messenger, she said her hands trembled. Sometimes the demon(s) in the person would tremble because it knows it is about to be prayed against. After I lead her in prayer to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, and renounce her past sins, I prayed against the spirit(s) by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. She felt something inside her chest, and later felt better.

It has even been reported in the news that people were opening themselves up to demons by listening to binaural beats. Now, how and why listening to such sounds opens doors to demons is something I don’t fully understand, but the reality is that it does. When one seeks spiritual experiences instead of going to the Creator—the God of the Bible, the devil can readily give his counterfeit spiritual experiences. The adversary has planted numerous snares.

I have read the comments under the video and sure enough, people revealed they had supernatural experiences. The experiences according to the comments vary from bad to pleasant, but it all comes from the same source: satan’s kingdom. Demons can sometimes give pleasant feelings to people. Don’t be deceived. The “light” people some claim to see during their supernatural experience does not mean it is good. The Bible reads satan transforms into an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:4). Some people claimed they have left their bodies (astral projection?) listening to it. If that is really the case then it is not a good thing because I believe that leaves the person even more open to demonization. Also, many people report they felt some sort of energy when listening to it. I believe that “energy” are just demons masquerading.

This is not a joke! You can read for yourself the strange experiences people have had in their own words:

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
