Disney is Onward Promoting the Occult
Wicked Disney’s Pixar is promoting necromancy and spells to children in the computer-animated movie, Onward. Disney is notorious for promoting wickedness under the guise of family-oriented entertainment. The movie seems to be about two elf brothers trying to resurrect their dead dad using magic, which is necromancy.
So what exactly is necromancy (also called spirit communications and spiritism)? It is the practice of calling up the spirits of the “dead” and communing with them in order to maintain fellowship or to receive knowledge of the future. In necromancy, messages from the “other side” of the grave can be received through séances, trances, mediums, ouija boards, and other means.
One sad event of necromancy in the Bible is King Saul’s visit to the witch of Endor (1 Samuel 28:1-25). Saul himself had banned all mediums and Fortune-tellers, although when he committed apostasy he sought out a medium in order to contact the dead. He died prematurely because of his sin. Later, in the time of the prophets, the warning was repeated several times. Spiritism is a sin against the authority of God, and those who trespass into this realm, transgress His commandment.
The Bible is clear:
“9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee” (Deuteronomy 18:9-12; also read Leviticus 19:31, 20:6; Isaiah 8:19f).
Frozen Should Not Be Chosen
Disney’s movie Frozen 2 also promotes divination or contacting spirits. One article about the movie reads:
Elsa crosses the Dark Sea to Ahtohallan (with a little help from a kelpie called Nokk), and commands the spirit (in song) to “Show Yourself.” She learns that she is actually the fifth spirit of the forest, connecting the other four.
So Elsa discovers she is “the fifth spirit of the forest” and “commands” a spirit to show itself! Witches, warlocks, and sorcerers command spirits. This is not fantasy; it is occultism and animism.
What exactly is animism? It is the belief that all nature is animated by and contains spirits. There are various forms of it, but in animistic cultures, the spirits often need to be appeased for things to go well. These spirits may also be thought of as gods but from a Biblical perspective, they are really demons!
Interestingly, modern Neo-Paganism includes belief in the elemental spirits, which are the supposed spirits of nature (again, really demons). Commanding such spirits violates God’s prohibition on spiritism and sorcery.
There is more:
The only way to end their fight and appease the spirits is to actually undo Arendelle’s crimes, rather than simply reliving them like Elsa does. Anna achieves this by convincing Lieutenant Mattias that the dam must be destroyed, even if it means destroying Arendelle in the process. The spirits, who were angered by the building of the dam and the subsequent fighting, are satisfied by the balance being restored, and their powers come together to revive Elsa, who in turn saves Arendelle (and brings Olaf back).
What is commonly practiced by the animists is to “appease the spirits.” Notice that because of the building of the dam, the spirits were “angered.” But “balance is restored” and Elsa ends giving up the throne to her younger sister and departs for the forest, where apparently she truly belongs (makes sense if she is the “fifth spirit”, I guess).
The content of this movie is blatantly anti-Biblical. It is very openly pagan. Even the lyrics to one of its songs are wicked. In Into the Unkown, Elsa is hearing the spirits and, at first, resists them but then says she feels her “power grow more” each day and finally wants to follow them “into the unknown.”
If you think this is paranoia, then what about when a Wiccan admits Frozen 2 has pagan concepts and themes?
One Wiccan wrote in an article:
When I say that Frozen II was a profound spiritual experience for me, I know that makes me sound a bit insane. But it’s nevertheless true and I know from conversations I’ve had in the week since the film’s release that I’m not alone. For me, it spoke to my own spiritual practice as a Wiccan and student of goddess lore but it works on a deeper level too. Frozen II is an amazing film that takes its heroine on a profound journey and in doing so it touches on elements of paganism and goddess archetypes in a way that’s rare and astonishing.
Paganism in many ways is the opposite of Christianity – whereas the Christian tradition focuses on a single God who holds power and grants salvation, the pagan worldview sees not only many gods and goddesses, but also divine power in all things, especially nature…..In religions like Wicca, the divine power in everything and everyone is seen as something that can be bent and worked with, in what we call magic.
Frozen II is all about magic and power and where it comes from; and it shows magic and female power in a way that fits with pagan teachings old and new. For one, Frozen II is all about the balance of the elements.
This Wiccan knows that Frozen 2 presents beliefs contrary to Christianity, and she is correct. Frozen 2 contains nature spirits (really demons) who play a significant role in the movie.
The Owl House? Not in My House
Yet, there is even more new Disney content that blatantly promotes wickedness, namely a TV series on the Disney Channel called The Owl House.
Some snippet from the following article reads:
The Disney Channel will premiere a new cartoon – The Owl House – on Friday, January 10, that promises to introduce young viewers to a world of demons and witchcraft.
According to Disney, “The series follows self-assured teenage girl Luz, who discovers a portal to another realm where humans are not well-liked, and she must disguise herself in order to fit in at witch school.”
Disney describes that realm as a “Demon town,” where Luz takes up residence with Eda the Owl Lady, “the most powerful witch on the Boiling Iles [sic].”
Luz declares, “Someday, I’m going to be just like her.”
Making the demon realm ‘feel like home’ for kids
“The original pitch (for the show) was ‘girl hangs out with witch in hell,’” voice actor Alex Hirsch told Newsweek.com.
The show’s art director, Ricky Cometa, explained that when the show’s creator, Dana Terrace, first approached him, “she said that ‘we’re trying to make this demon realm a part of Disney.’”’
“We really wanted to make this demon realm feel like home, and just had to figure out how to do it,” said Cometa.
The writers room for the show is “full of books on witchcraft, witches and spells to take inspiration from,” according to the Newsweek piece.
The visual design of the show is inspired by various European painters such as Hieronymus Bosch, who was best known for his surrealistic depictions of hell.
Show creator Terrace, who first became acquainted with religious painters while growing up in Catholic school, said Bosch’s twisted takes on angels and demons would make for a “cool show in that art style.”
Protect Children From Ungodly Media
The devil isn’t called the deceiver for nothing (Rev. 12:9). Just as the devil was behind the Harry Potter series, which was massively popular worldwide in the 2000s, he is also behind the aforementioned children’s entertainment. The devil is targeting children. The devil’s devices and plans are to destroy children and grandchildren spiritually, physically, and emotionally. He is trying to condition them into the world of the occult. We must protect children from being enticed into this demonic world.
Jesus Christ gave this serious warning against those who promote wickedness to children (Matthew 18): “6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!”
As stated many times here, involving oneself in the practice of divination, witchcraft, magic, etc., can leave a person wide open for demonization. You are playing with fire getting involved with occult practices. Yet, such things are promoted by Disney to children.
I can confidently say that God is seriously grieved by indulging in such entertainment. I will briefly share my personal testimony: I used to watch movies and a TV series called Charmed that was saturated with witchcraft content, and I distinctly and strongly felt the Holy Spirit was grieved by me indulging in it. I didn’t know then how much God finds witchcraft to be an abomination.

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I repent of my sins and turn to you. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
Jesus Truth Deliverance 
Go fuck yourself. Hows that for disney entertainment? The fact that you cant let kids be kids, and have some form of an imaginative thought process provoked by a movie shows that you are all a bunch of ignorant/intolerant asses going to such lengths as to diminish the dreams of children across the globe just to push your stuffy, suffocating agenda. There are thousands, literally thousands of gods throughout the world and recorded history, but dont get butt hurt, yours is the “true god”.

Are you educated enough to come up with a strong counter argument? A statement supported by reasons that disproves the argument “let kids be kids and have some form of imaginative process provoked by movie shows”. If a kid imagines a world of fairies and magic is that a sin? If a kid fines movies and books without magic boring is that a problem? Anne from Lucy Maud Montgomery’s “Anne of Green Gables series imagined things like fairies, dryads, and ghosts all the time; should we ban that series as well? What about C.S.Lewis’s Narnia series, it is full of magic and mythical creatures; should that be banned as well?

Courtney, there is all kinds of evidence historical, archaeological evidence for the Bible. There are many, many testimonies of people attesting to the truth about evil spirits.
Stop arguing and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
No where did I advocate for the banning of content that has has magic and mythical creatures. I am merely exposing the dangers of it.

What dangers? It’s the job of the parents to tell their children that these things are purely fiction, and if they behave otherwise whether they receive such an explanation or not, that is not on the material, but on them. Their choice, their beliefs no matter where those beliefs come from. These forms of media don’t make them do anything unholy, so it is none of your business if kids are exposed to this. Don’t just say I need God or Jesus. I do believe in both, but I believe they both know better about this sort of thing than you do as they have a far broader perspective than any mortal mind can comprehend

Don’t engage the people in the comments section. Telling them they need Jesus is not going to fix anything. The old saying goes “You can lead a horse to water but, you cannot force it to drink.” Most atheists, pagans, and Buddhists in America already know about Christianity and Jesus, they just have not accepted him. Replying to them is a waste of time and energy.

How do you even know if all that stuff in the Bible actually happened? Are there any other records of those events? How do you know it wasn’t just made up like the Greek myths. Isn’t God technically a spirit? When you pray to God aren’t you inquiring a spirit? If God is omnipresent isn’t he in everything? What about all the miracles and punishment God did in the Bible? Isn’t that magic? What would you call destroying the world by flood and then making the earth inhabitable again if it is not magic? What would call Jesus healing the sick and raising the dead if it is not magic? If it isn’t magic then what is it? What kid actually took up practicing witchcraft after reading Harry Potter, or waited for a fairy godmother after watching Cinderella? Most children know magic isn’t real. Should we also ban superheroes and science fiction?

What would you call Jesus healing the sick and raising the dead if it isn’t magic? Should science fiction and superhero media also be avoided? Faith in Jesus doesn’t mean a person will know the Bible to be true. Many Atheists were Christians. Dan Barker, author of “godless: how an evangelical preacher became one of America’s leading atheists” had a close relationship with Jesus during his youth and early adulthood.

I would say science fiction and superhero media should be avoided. Such material has a worldview contrary to the Bible.
If you know Jesus then you would know the Bible is true. Jesus affirmed the scriptures and the scriptures testify of Jesus.
I don’t know about Dan Barker, but what I do know is once you become born again of the Spirit you will absolutely know God is real. I seriously doubt Dan Barker was born again.

What about C.S. Lewis’s Narnia? That contains magic? Is that dangerous as well? Is it dangerous for a child to imagine they have magical powers? What about books where characters are Christian but imagine things like dryads and fairies, such as L.M. Montgomery’s Anne Shirley? Are those harmful as well? What are the odds of children taking up worshiping spirits? Isn’t the Holy Spirit also a spirit? Aren’t children more likely to be influenced by school friends than a cartoon? What about children having pagan friends?

I am not saying if children watch movies or shows that contain magic they are all going to get into the occult. But the reality is that some children have gone into witchcraft or the occult because of a movie or show. Whether you want to believe it or not, the media does have an influence on us. It is better to be safe to not have your children consuming it.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the one true God.
No, children shouldn’t have pagan friends. Paganism is evil.
But if you are not a Christian all that I said probably would make much sense to you anyways.

We cannot shelter our children forever. You may forbid shows and books with paganism, witchcraft, Islam, and other beliefs systems at home. But that will not prevent them from encountering those things in school. Public schools teach about other cultures and evolution. Not to mention young people will meet people from different belief systems at college. I don’t think we are suppose to isolate ourselves from the rest of the world. If watching a cartoon is enough to make you doubt God, then your faith was not very strong to begin with. If reading book makes you sin than your faith is weak. Reading a book about a witch cannot make a person a witch anymore than reading a book about a mailman will make a person a mailman. I am reading a book about cats, am I a cat now? No. If you cannot watch a cartoon about witchcraft without taking up witchcraft, how are you going to handle meeting a real witch?
C.S. Lewis’ “The Lion Witch and Wardrobe” has a witch in it, yet Christian parents have not problem with the book or movie. What makes it any different than “Brave”, “Frozen2”, or “Onward”?

Thank you, Jamaal, for This very insightful article! I know of many believers that let their kids watch some Disney movies, and I try to warn them. Recently on a Christian tv show, I saw a woman say that Disney now have witches say spells over new movies. . No wonder that there are loads of mass shootings in the God-forsaken and devil worshipping country, the US of A! This is not happening nearly as much in our old European countries, but I suspect it could now, because of the satanic poison being spewed across the world via movies, evil music, video games, etc, from the US.

What’s wrong with most comments here? Disney is really EVIL! Subtly or blatantly but EVIL anyway! They have the cunning to make it all appear so cute and innocent with animation skills, but it doesn’t justify the content to be harmless at all. May all the parents’ (especially Christians) eyes be opened by God and see through the deceptions in Jesus’ name!
