“I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.” — Psalm 32:5

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” — Isaiah 55:7

Over the many years of praying deliverance for people, I have come across several women who were involved in having an abortion. We have ascertained that having an elective abortion led to their demonization (i.e., being indwelt with evil spirits). I believe that even if a person is merely complicit in some way with someone else having an elective abortion, it can open doors to demonization.

There is a spirit that is behind the act of abortion, and it is definitely not the Spirit of God. I think perhaps that the spirits of murder and death can be associated with abortion. Whatever spirit it is, it is a demonic spirit.

Many passages in the Bible condemns abortion as sin since God hates the shedding of innocent blood and expresses His regard for life in the womb (Exodus 20:13; Psalm 22:10; Psalm 127:3; Psalm 139:13-14; Proverbs 6:16-17; Job 31:15; Isaiah 44:24). Indeed, the Holy Spirit inspired scripture reads that John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb (Luke 1:15), and while in the womb was the very first human to rejoice at the news of Jesus (Luke 1:41-44), further indicating God’s care for the unborn.

If you have been involved with an abortion and believe you are experiencing demonic symptoms, then say the following deliverance/repentance prayer:

Father,

Forgive me for not placing You as my utmost priority, being selfish, and not doing only what pleases You. Please forgive me for not completely trusting in You. Please forgive me for not valuing the human life that You have formed in the womb. Forgive me for shedding innocent blood. I have grieved You tremendously, and I plead for Your mercy and grace. Please help me to overcome all the works of the evil one through my prayers. Please redeem me from blood guiltiness and cleanse the landscape of my life in the name of Jesus. My Father, have mercy on me and wash away my iniquity, in the name of Jesus.

Father, I confess to You that abortion is an abomination because it terminates the life of the unborn who are made in Your image. You said in Isaiah 44:24 that You are the One who formed the human life in the womb, You said in Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not kill,” and in Proverbs 6:16-17 that You hate the hands that shed innocent blood. Please cleanse my hands and make me clean. Never again will I be involved in taking an innocent human life.

Please, Lord, help me to forgive myself, in the name of Jesus. O Lord, comfort me and cover my loss with Your holy presence, in the name of Jesus.

Father, please release me from the bondage this sin has caused, in the name of Jesus.

Father, by Your grace and mercy, Lord, please extend Your forgiveness to me, in the name of Jesus. Father, please draw me from every place of death, wasting, destruction, and murder. Father, please sever me from all ties with the grave and the underworld and cut me loose from all gates of Hell in the Name of Jesus. Please abolish all gatekeepers, strongholds, strongmen, Apollyon, and Abaddon over my life.

Father, I repent on behalf of myself and my generational line, on my mother’s and father’s side, for the sin of child sacrifice, abortions, and the worship of Molech and Chemosh. Father, I ask that the precious Blood of Jesus purge me from the aftermath of the horrible sin of abortion. I repent, renounce, and confess as sin: pride, anger, rebellion, murder, hardheartedness, sexual sin, immorality, transgressions, witchcraft, idolatry, and every form of iniquity and disobedience that has opened the door for the enemy to operate in my life and in my family line.

Father, I repent and renounce all covenants and agreements that I have made with the kingdom of darkness knowingly and unknowingly by myself and my ancestors. I recognize that these sins, covenants, agreements, and vows gave the enemy a legal right to operate against Your purposes from being established in my life.

By the power shed blood of Jesus, I break the power of the spirits of Molech and Chemosh over my life. I renounce all blood covenants made with the kingdom of darkness in my life. Blood of Jesus, I remove the stronghold and the strong man of the spirit of Molech and Chemosh over my life. In the name of Jesus, destroy every altar and curse of Molech and Chemosh over my life.

In the name and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, I break the power of the spirits of Lilith, Ishtar, lust, sorcery, the anti-Christ spirit, depression, melancholy, infirmities, idolatry, pride, rebellion, murder, death, oppression, darkness, the spirit of accusation, and every other demonic spirit associated with abortion that I may have opened the doors to.

I come before the court of heaven as a child of God who has been bought with the precious blood of Your Son, my Lord Jesus Christ. Father, I am not only Your child; I am an heir to the kingdom of God. I am the bride of Your Son. I appeal to You as one having all authority over the works of the enemy, according to Luke 10:19, where it is written, “I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Furthermore, it is written that I am raised up with Christ and seated in heavenly places, where there is authority to reign and rule with Christ. As a legitimate heir and ambassador to the kingdom of God, I ask that You bring all adversaries and enemies into the court of heaven, where a judgment against them will be rendered on behalf of the saints of God. Let this decree serve to bind them with fetters, and execute the judgment of Your word without delay.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I command every spirit of abortion attacking my development, progress, health, and spiritual maturity—growth in Christ, to exit and flee right now. I release the judgment of Jesus against these spirits and drive them out with the finger of God.

I burn by the fire of the Holy Spirit, the spirit of abortion. I abort every spirit of abortion and sabotage every spirit of sabotage and self-sabotage in my life. I attack every spirit of witchcraft and negativity attacking me and disassemble by fire. I command and break it off you and my entire bloodline. The blood of deliverance is my portion. Jesus’s blood and finished work on the cross are my deliverance. The plans of the enemy are cancelled and destroyed in my life, and the plans and purposes of Jesus are being fulfilled in my life, in Jesus’ name.

I bind and cast out every spirit of sexual perversion from my body and organs, in the name of Jesus. Let every open door to the enemy be shut in my life, in the name of Jesus. And I invite You, LORD, to fill every dark place within me.

My Father, thank You that the Blood of Jesus atones for my sins. Father, please break the curses of shedding innocent blood off my life, my family, and my descendants, in the name of Jesus.

O Lord, I cry unto You for restoration. Restore me, in the name of Jesus. Father, please walk me back to the foundations of my life and heal, deliver, and redeem me. Cleanse the foundation of life with Your living water and the Blood of Jesus. Please restore me to Your original design and purpose as if the enemy never interfered with my life.

My Father, please arise and restore what I had destroyed. Father, cleanse me from all sins and restore my lost innocence, in the name of Jesus.

Father, thank You for caring for my child (children). Help me to live a life that pleases You, so that one day I will embrace my child (children) in eternity.

Father, I ask that You would grant unto me a full pardon from the penalty, reproach, and consequences of sins based upon Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Father, please have mercy on me. In the name of Jesus, remove and destroy every spirit of Abortion, Murder, Death, Failure, Arrested Development, Frustration, Rejection, Failure to Thrive, and Sorrow that has entered my life as a result of abortion.

May the blood of Jesus cleanse me. May the blood of Jesus wash me. May the blood of Jesus overcome my enemies.

Father, instruct me and help me to correct my life and bring it under Your subjection. I claim freedom and cleansing in the areas of sexual sin, in the name of Jesus. I break soul ties with men or women I have had sexual relationships with, in the name of Jesus.

It is written in Your word, O God, in Psalm 127:3-5 that children are an inheritance from the Lord. You also said that we would not be put to shame when we contend with our opponents in court, so we appeal to God and ask to find grace and help in the time of our need.

I shall forever be grateful for your undeserved mercy. Thank You, Lord God, for Your love, grace, and forgiveness. You are Good and Holy. All praise, blessings, glory, honor, and power belong to You. Amen.
