If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you can receive Him into your heart and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

  1. Hello. I’m a 38yrs old retired combat veteran that struggles on a different level then most.
I used to be a very strong Christian back in the day but after quite a bit of trauma and life experiences I have come to the conclusion that I have no idea what is truth and that there isn’t a person on the planet that can help me with this.
I can’t believe in something so so big just because someone tells me it’s the truth. I just can’t. Every single religion believes what they believe because of faith, and they all ( the strong ones ) believe that they are right and feel the need to spread judgements across the globe.
There is one thing that Christianity brought me and that is Shame. And it still does to this day. The struggles I have daily give me suicidal thoughts regularly.
What pushed me away from Christianity is the people and how badly I watched them judge and shame others and the amount I felt myself from people.
I do tell Jesus these things and big ass struggles I have, on a regular basis in hopes that he ( if he was truly the son of God ) may help me out because he would know the amount of struggle I have in this issue.
I’ve been in the pits of hell with some of the traumas I have been through and begged him to help me in some way. And to this day I haven’t received what I’m looking for.
I found this website by accident
( there are no accidents, yes I know ) and find it quite interesting because the other day I was listening to a podcast that had Teal Swan on their show. I’ve never heard of her before in my life. But I was pleasantly surprised at hearing that there was someone out there that is very similar to me and she has seemed to overcome her challenges ( maybe hear her story ).
But in no way shape or form did I hear any of what you’ve put on your site.
Actually I think I just got an answer lol.
How do you think Jesus would treat her if he was standing right in front of her? And how do you think she would be if Jesus himself stood right in front of her?
One of the biggest things that Jesus says over and over in the bible is to not judge others. He says it very clearly and multiple times. And to treat everyone with accepting love. Especially none believers or people that suffer a large amount.
The kind of suffering this kind of judging can make someone feel is more then you could bare.
What if you are wrong about her and now you have only pushed her even farther away. I have seen these type of judgements first hand and the kind of suffering these judgements make people feel.
Not once did Christ act like this! Not once. If God is love then his followers should ( in my opinion) act like him the best they can.
You really need to think about what you are doing with these type of judgements and what they can do. This is a form of terroism without a doubt and it makes me so sad to see and hear about. And it’s this very type of thing that makes me question what I was told to believe.
I only ever want to come from a place of Love and not fear. We are either coming from a place of love or coming from a place of fear. These type of judgements only make you feel better about the things you’re struggling with yourself and you don’t think about the repercussions that your words have on others. You WILL
push someone to commit suicide. You will push more and more people away with this type of action. And it’s because people are Love ( behind all the suffering) and people don’t want to support something that isn’t love.
I do not like bullies and you guy are being exactly that. Your taking “ Gods word “ and making it your own and shaming as many people as you can.
You like being the judge of people and you like telling people they are wrong and living life wrong.
How do you think you would feel on the other side of your judgements?
This is horrible stuff and in my opinion is an evil action. I honestly don’t know how you could possibly disagree. If love ( and god is love ) isn’t at the centre of your words or actions then maybe it’s time to reflect on how your doing things.
This is truly what type of stuff that pushed me so far away from religion. I cannot believe in something that causes so much suffering in the world and so much suffering in one’s life and so much judgement. This makes me very sad and leaves me feeling so many different negative emotions.
Let’s say you’re right! Don’t you think it would be best to treat people with love instead of judgment? Then you wouldn’t push people away. But instead people would feel safe and not judged.
This is craziness at its finest.
The only thing that I got from that woman by listening to her is that she suffered a tremendous amount in her past and doesn’t believe that suicide is a good thing ( as she said that on the podcast. )
I’m blown away and now feel a bit better then I cannot step into a church. And that has nothing to do with Jesus and has everything to do with the people and how they treat others. If you are not treating others with love than you were treating them with hate, judgements etc
All I’m saying is trying to judge a little bit less and maybe add in a little bit more love and acceptance towards others. I personally believe Jesus would be apalled at this type of stuff and actions. And you put it on the Internet for millions and millions of people to see. This is absolutely backwards and this makes me so damn angry. The world has a major lack of love and needs more of it. It doesn’t need more of the opposite. Just because you feel threatened from somebody else doesn’t make it OK for you to make someone else feel so incredibly bad. Like I said, what and you put it on the Internet for millions and millions of people to see. This is absolutely backwards and this makes me so damn angry. The world has a major lack of love and needs more of it. It doesn’t need more of the opposite. Just because you feel threatened from somebody else doesn’t make it OK for you to make someone else feel so incredibly bad. Like I said, what would Jesus do? I can tell you this with 100% certainty, he wouldn’t do this LOL. How did he treat the woman that was a prostitute? I could go on and on but I already feel like I’ve given way too much energy towards this and I am now on my cell veering off a loving centre.
Isn’t your job to recruit more people? LOL
Your words are no different then a bullet and your killing people in the name of Jesus. This isn’t okay at all.
Let me guess I’m a demon because I don’t agree with you and I am confused at the believes that were instilled in me as a child.

    1. Hey Corey. I am sorry about what you are going through. Please know that the Lord Jesus Christ loves you and desires for you to be saved. All you have to do is repent and believe.

God is love but He is also a God of wrath and judgment. The Bible is clear that the wrath of God abides on those who don’t believe in the Son. Many don’t believe because they love darkness rather than the light. Without Jesus your sins will fall upon your own head. Please give the Lord a chance. Receive His grace and mercy.

I can assure you Jesus is real and so is the enemy. And I don’t doubt some the issues you mentioned are due to the enemy. Again, turn to Christ.

    2. Corey, Since you are a combat veteran then you know what warfare is like. There is a spiritual warfare going on in the spiritual realm. The demons of unbelief and hindrance does not want you to see what the God of peace has for you. They have blinded your eyes to only see judgement from people and yourself. However, God is more powerful than the enemy and He can heal you and help you combat the evil spirits. May God’s power manifest in your life and may you have the victory against the enemy of your soul! You can tell the enemy: Spirits of unbelief and hindrance, come out of me in the name of Jesus (Yeshua), who gave me the authority to disable your power, you cannot harm me or retaliate against me for God has promised to deliver me. I am covered by the blood of the lamb.
You can pray: Lord my God, help me to put on the whole armor of God. Enable me to stand against the wiles of the devil. I do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. God my mighty, deliverer, remove the hindrances that satan has put upon me to prevent healing or progress in my life. Have mercy upon me, and keep destruction and failure away from me. Lord, you are the one who opens the doors where no man can shut. Let the work of the Holy Spirit flow freely in me in the name of Jesus (Yeshua), Amen.

    3. Firstly I want to thank you for your service defending the USA and it’s people! God bless you and all of our service members in the military, police, first responders!

I am so sorry and will pray for you for how you feel and have obviously been treated! Please know that all children of Christ do not judge you! We are all sinners and do stupid things on a daily bases and have fallen short of the Glory of God and are in daily need to repent and turn to Jesus who loves all of us! for forgiveness, healing and comfort!
It is not Christs desire that anyone should parish or feel like you do! Father forgive them all… for they know not what they do! Please consider forgiving those who persecute and judge you so you can truly trust in Jesus to heal and comfort your grieving spirit! Forgiveness is imminent to being forgiven! Your pain and hurt can be healed by the powerful of the blood of Jesus Christ… if you alone just allow yourself that healing through forgiveness! Then you can sing a hallelujah! Love a sister in Christ ✝️🧎🏽‍♀️🩸🕊

Who knows if you’ll ever read this. I hope someday, you do.

God is love. So much so, that Jesus was the gift He sent so that He could be reunited with us- because we were so wicked with sin. In our modern world there is so much evil around us. We hate each other, we name call, there’s no unity, there is no love. Here’s the catch, when Jesus was on earth, yes He loved the people and He saw them suffering tremendously with sickness, disease and demonic possession. He also healed all who were sick. But, because of His healing powers, they accused the Son of God from getting His powers from satan. Even the religious scholars during Jesus’ time on earth were plotting to kill him because he spoke the truth. The truth offended them and for that, they plotted and schemed to have Jesus put to death. He told them that they had no faith, were wicked, and hypocritical. Jesus died because it’s through His death that we can even attain forgiveness and reunification with God by having a personal relationship with the one who saved you from death. Jesus was put to death because He spoke the truth, which was offensive.
Perhaps, we need to come back into some truth. The truth is, even Jesus called out the religious hypocrites of His time. Guess what? I’ll stand in agreement with you there. I think modern Christianity is weak, dumbed down, and completely deceived by false doctrine. Where are the Jesus followers who are healing the sick? Raising the dead? Casting out demons? How can Christian’s even call themselves Christian’s if they are not walking in the love, the truth, and the healing power of Jesus? Truly humbling yourself before Jesus and seeing yourself as the disgusting murderer, self righteous, judgmental, prideful, arrogant, hypocrite out there (and I’m speaking of myself here), and still being capable of understanding His eternal love for us, so much so- that He humbled HIMSELF to be a lowly man, to take our place in the judgment seat for our sin. There’s not many Christians right now walking like Jesus. If they did, they’d be following His greatest commandment. That is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, your sole, and might. The second commandment was to love your neighbor as yourself. Show love to everyone; regardless of skin color, political view, gender, sex, or, any other label society uses to attempt to label us. I hope you get to encounter the radical love of Jesus through a true follower of Christ someday. Jesus is not religion- He is love, He is Truth, He is the way.

I pray these words reach you, Corey. I realize it’s been a long time since article was published. I was addicted to meth for 27 years so I know about judgement from man. I was d livered from that a year and a half ago. I know about being hopeless and alone in suffering. I agree with you that Jesus came to save the lost, not the righteous. Jesus is the Righteous Judge. Not man. Get into the Word and create a closer relationship with God through His Word. A one on one relationship with God. He loves you. He is for you. Jesus rebuked Hypocrites. I pray comfort , peace, joy and healing over your life and the lives of your family. And strength for you to carry on. In Jesus name. Your life matters Corey. God bless.
