• Abaddon / Apollyon (Revelation 9:11) — The angel of the bottomless pit and king over the demonic locusts; the name means “Destruction” in Hebrew and “Destroyer” in Greek.
• Angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) — Satan disguises himself as an angel of light to deceive.
• A murder or violent spirit (1 Samuel 18:9-11; Acts 19:16) — A spirit that drives a person to sudden violent or murderous acts, as seen when Saul tried to pin David with a spear or when the possessed man overpowered the seven sons of Sceva.
