Breaking Strongholds: Self-Deliverance

A self-deliverance simply means that people can be set free of demons by expelling the demons out of themselves in Jesus’s name.

A demon is an unclean spirit that is looking for a body to live in, and they can enter people through personal and generational sins and the following doorways:

  • Pornography
  • Worldly movies and music
  • Occult objects in your house
  • Fornication
  • Abortion
  • Incest
  • Lack of forgiveness
  • Personal and generational sins
  • Curses (e.g., generational curses or a victim of black magic)
  • Dabbling in the occult or New Age
  • Witchcraft
  • Drunkenness
  • Getting high on marijuana or psychotropic drugs
  • A victim of sexual abuse

There are some doorways through which these unclean spirits enter into people and will reside in the flesh, which is your physical body.

We have authority in Jesus Christ over the power of the enemy to cast out devils in Jesus’ name:

“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.” (Luke 9:1)

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

Demons are spirits. They often exist in the body as tears, coughs, burps, yawns, or vomit. So you might need a tissue or a garbage bag close by.

Demons are nothing to be afraid of as they are going out of you in Jesus Christ’s name. Just breathe regularly and let them go, in Jesus Christ’s name.

Self-Deliverance Prayer

Right now, in Jesus Christ’s name, I bind up and rebuke any strongman and all unclean spirits working inside or against me.

I bind the gatekeeper and bind all hindering spirits and demonic reinforcements from interfering with this deliverance in Jesus Christ’s name.

In Jesus Christ’s name, I bind up all demonic entities and unclean spirits working against me and my family.

I put you on notice, satan that I am attacking you from my position of authority seated with the Lord Jesus Christ in heavenly places.

Lord Jesus, please loose warrior angels of God to surround me right now, and to loose a wall of fire like in Zechariah 2:5 to surround me and my family right now, in Jesus Christ’s name.

Lord Jesus, please loose warrior angels with swords to go into the lowest portion of my body and surround me and to separate all demons from the strongman and each other and spoil the demons of their power, armor, rank, and resources, in Jesus Christ’s name.

I loose the sword of the Lord to cut off all connections between the demons on the inside and the fallen angels and unclean spirits on the outside, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.

I execute the judgments written on all devils inside right now, and I loose the judgments of God along with fire and burning and destruction perpetual on all the devils attacking me right now, in jesus Christ’s name and in accordance with Psalm 149:9.

I ask you Father God to loose your angels to attack all foul spirits inside of me! In Jesus Christ’s name.

Every unclean spirit that the Lord Jesus Christ wants to come out of me: come out now, and go to where the Lord Jesus Christ is sending you!

All spirits of insecurity, inferiority, every type of fear, nervousness, anxiety, insomnia:

Come out in Jesus Christ’s name!

Wounded spirit, deep-wounded hurt, abandonment, orphan spirit, trauma, superstition spirits:

Come out in Jesus Christ’s name!

Spirit of heaviness, depression, hopelessness, worry, sadness, isolation, suicide:

Come out in Jesus Christ’s name!

Every spirit of cigarettes, alcohol, nicotine, marijuana, gluttony, eating disorders, rebellion, cursing, foul mouth, all psychotropic drugs, and sorcery:

Come out in Jesus Christ’s name!

All spirits of lying, cheating, murder, revenge, abortions, coveting, slander, mocking, rage, anger, jealousy, and deceit:

Come out in Jesus Christ’s name!

Anger, rage, resentment, lack of forgiveness, bitterness, murder, revenge:

Spirits of doubt, unbelief, confusion, chaos, and antichrist spirits:

Spirits that came in from reiki, yoga, martial arts, transcendental meditation, reading occult books, Wicca, Hecate, the Goddess, Freemasonry, Eastern Star:

All spirits of Santeria, Palo Mayombe, Chango, Voodoo, New Age spirits, another Jesus, meditation, acupuncture, spiritualism:

I loose the sword of the Lord to cut and chop all kundalini, python, and serpentine spirits off of my spine and in my body:

Al vagabond spirits, hindering spirits, blessing blockers, religious spirits:

All spirits of sickness, premature death, destruction, the root of bitterness, cancer, asthma, all infirmities:

Father God, I ask you to loose civil war in the demon’s camp and cause every demon to attack one another now, in Jesus Christ’s name.

I command the strongman to start throwing out the demons under its command now! In Jesus Christ’s name.

I loose the arrows of the Lord God dipped in the blood of Jesus to rain down and impale the demons in Jesus’s name.

I loose the hornets of the Lord to sting the demons and drive them out in Jesus Christ’s name.

Angels of God! Attack these spirits and cut the strongman away and hook and pull them out in Jesus Christ’s name.

I loose the fire of God on every demon, in Jesus’s name.

I loose fiery destruction on all demons, in Jesus’s name.

I loose the fear of the Lord into every demon, in Jesus’s name.

I rebuke you foul spirits. Come out in Jesus Christ’s name.

Move! Out! Out! OUT! Come out! In Jesus Christ’s name.

I am giving you demons a few more seconds to come out, and then I am going to cage you up.

Father God, I ask You to loose warrior angels to go in and cage every demon by itself in a cage filled with the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Angels of God, slice these devils, scourge them, read the Word of God to them night and day, and sing the songs from the old Gospel hymnals like “There is Power in the Blood” until they come out! In Jesus Christ’s name.

Demons, I bind you from being able to communicate with one another and you will not harm me or my family in any way. All you can do is come out and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and then go to where the Lord Jesus Christ sends you never to return.

Keep coming out in Jesus Christ’s name!

Angels of God, execute the order in Jesus Christ’s name and cage every remaining foul spirit, until next time in deliverance, or they release me.

Every demon, as you come out, you are ordered to go to where the Lord Jesus Christ sends you and never return.

I seal this deliverance with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray over myself God’s spirits of power, love, sound mind, deliverance, health, fear of the Lord, grace, mercy, excellent spirit, -in Jesus Christ’s name.

Father God, I ask You to send the Holy Spirit now to fill up every void in me. 

Bind all demonic backlash-retaliation-revenge or retribution from attacking me and my family, my finances, my ministries, my purpose, and my destiny, In Jesus Christ’s name.

    The power of God and Jesus have brought me to you for Real deliverance. I even experienced physical things during the self deliverance prayer. Nearly vomiting and blurry eye sight which nearly prevented me from reading the rest of the prayer and watery eyes and stomach upset. I feel free and I really believe God has saved me from the yucky things I was dabbling in. I really wanted to ask a question about praying this self deliverance prayer for my children I cannot exactly get them to read it personally as they are too young and my oldest boys would be abit frightened from the rawness of this. Are you able to guide me in how I break the strongholds using this prayer for my children, fo I prayer this with holding their hand do they repeat after me? Please help me because I know this will save my family home life to rid these demonic stacks over my children’s behaviours such as aNger, defiancey dark thoughts, strife autism etc.
    I was seriously seeking God’s real truth and have always loved Jesus and God and have been a Christian but could never appreciate or understand why I was suffering and so addicted to new age stuff and drinking and smoking and sexual immorality and even coffee which leads to very severe anxiety within me. Etc. it was the last straw when I downloaded a tarot app and my reading was so fearful and disgusting that I was filled with fear because previous to that I had lovely angel light worker cards I’d read. I’d seek lovely mediums who would show love protection and guidance in my journey and predict things that were so spot on. I’d watch the law of attraction by Abraham Hicks etc so I felt spiritually guided still putting God centre in my heart and defending his name if anyone spoke less of who he really is. But it was these tarot cards that made me ill and I felt an evil fear. So I surrendered before God and said what is real show me your face prove to me my faith in you is true after falling pretty much at his feet I come across you John and it scared me So much that this was what was happening to me. I was being severally attacked my Satan’s demons himself. Mind confusion spirits , depression, fear, alcohol abuse etc I needed to be delivered but I asked Hiw I’ve prayed years for it SHOW me how what do you want me to do. And then I came across this. Anyway it is a long story the rest but I need to know this prayer for my children and family on a personal level I know it mentioned for my family too in this self deliverance prayer is that enough to rebuke the attacks from my beautiful family.

      Hi Angel,

      I think as a parent you have authority over your children, so you can say the prayer on their behalf (especially considering that they are so young). You can just reword parts of the prayer so that they are directed at your children.

      I will be praying for you and your children and I know God will grant you victory.

    I forgot to mention after my experience with the psychics and tarot’s and surrendering before God I did repent fully of my sins and my foolish wisdom after watching your documentary. I pretty much said God take me I cannot do this anymore. I was always a Christian but s double minded one and thought that was ok. I have surrounded to all that was trying to rob steal and destroy me and my family. And I have asked God now to show me every day his Truth and I’m documenting this whole experience I’m doing every day for 39 days and trusting the Lord to show me his love and truth. I have vowed to to partake in any forms of new age deterrents alcohol cigarettes coffee etc which I’m delighted to say I feel they have been completely broken from me , but it’s only early days so I’m trusting this will all be Glory to Gods kingdom.     Neighbors above me trying to intimidate my children and I by following every where we walk we hear their foot steps and if I say I’m going to a certain room I hear their footsteps coming to that room. Everywhere I love my furniture I here them moving furniture in the same are as my as well as bed. Everywhere I sleep I hear right above me which is creepy and strange. I know God will give me deliverance soon. Another neighbor who has bad smell unknown substance coming from apartment everyone complain s yet she remains in the apartment. I have arrows all around me.

    Loosing angels is one of the principles in false annointing/kundalini awakening “revival” (drunkeness, toronto etc) So Ramirez MIGHT have also false teaching here in the middle of the right and true teaching.

    Frank Hammond, Pigs in the parlor (pages 112-113):
    “When the ruler of the synagogue became angry over this deliverance because it was done on the sabbath, Jesus answered: Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath LOOSE his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom SATAN HATH BOUND, lo, these eighteen years, BE LOOSED FROM THIS BOND on the sabbath day? Luke 13:15,16

    The Greek word for “loose” in the text is luo. It is defined in the lexicon as “to loose anything tied or fastened; to loose one bound; to set free; to discharge from prison. To free from bondage or disease (one held by Satan) by restoration to health.” (Thayers) The victory over demon spirits is already won by Jesus. As far as heaven is concerned every captive is loosed! The principle is the same as in salvation. Jesus provided for every man’s salvation. Then why isn’t every man saved?The blood must be personally applied. Every man who applies the blood by faith is saved. Those who refuse or neglect to apply that blood are lost. So, Jesus has provided deliverance. It is finished so far as heaven is concerned. The key of loosing the captive is given to the believer. He can loose himself and others on earth because it is already done in heaven! Glory! Now, there are those who teach that the loosing spoken of means the loosing of the Holy Spirit or angels to fill the vacancy left by the departing demons. Since it has has been shown that the word “loose” is in respect to that which is fettered and bound, how could this possibly refer to the Holy Spirit or angels? Are they in any sense bound? Furthermore, it is not within the authority of men to command angels. While it is a blessed truth that angels are “ministering spirits” in behalf of all who are heirs of salvation (See Heb. 1:14), it must be carefully noted that they are “SENT FORTH” to minister in our behalf. Who does the sending forth? That is God’s business. We can pray and ask God to release the angels, but there is no precedent in scripture for our commanding or directing them ourselves. It is extremely dangerous to elevate angels to a higher role than is established in scripture, for one thereby begins to look to angels for help rather than to the Lord. This, in fact, amounts to idolatry and may soon degenerate into a “worship of angels” which is altogether forbidden. (See Col. 2:18). To look to angels rather than God for help is failure to hold the Head in proper respect, that is Christ. (See Col. 2:19). To reiterate, the binding refers to Satan and demons, and the loosing to the person who has been bound by the forces of darkness. Satan is bound; the victim is loosed! This is what happens as the result of an effective deliverance ministry.” (Hammond)

    I would really appreciate a way to get in contact with you to talk more about my deliverance. I have been going through spiritual attacks for over 2 years now! Started with dreams and not being able to move or speak in those dreams and being heals down! And then it started a black shadow over my head at all times! I sought answers everywhere even as far as to get a girl to come sage my home and looked into crystals but it always came back stronger and started manifested in my physical life! I would get extreme tightness around my chest almost like I am being squeezed by something that hates me when I pray and extreme heaviness when I drive and especially when I lay down at night and it feels like something hitting my bed at times and touching me constantly as well! There was bad smells and attacks inside my home and car! It got so bad I sought out the help of the Catholic Church because I was raised baptist and no one seemed to believe what I was going through. The Catholics gave me prayers to read and came to my home and used holy water and salt and put Saint Benedict medals in all the corners of my home and gave me a rosery to wear and prayed over me and it seemed to get better for a little while but I continued my prayers and even started attending there masses because it seemed to get better for a while but it has returned almost stronger at times and there only answer seems to be for me to join there church I have really been struggling with this and even went as far at to attend several of there rcia corses but it seems like more activity happens now when I come back from those classes! I came across ur post last night and read ur prayers out loud! It felt very uncomfortable and my chest was super heavy and I could see shadows the entire time it felt like my body was on fire around my chest and neck also but there was some comfort and ease of activity! My home is filled with catholic medals and I have been wearing a Saint Benedict medal for months so reading ur post on Catholics also has got me so super confused and wondering where to turn to now and what to do with all of this stuff and how to proceed with my deliverance now
