The Bible is clear there is One Master:

Matt. 23:8 “But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.”

You can’t serve two masters:

Matt. 6:24 – “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. “

God is a jealous God!

Exodus 34:14 – For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD [Yahweh], whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:”

Deuteronomy 4:24 –For the LORD [Yahweh] thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.”

Deuteronomy 5:9 – “Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD [Yahweh] thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,”

Deuteronomy 6:15 – (For the LORD [Yahweh] thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.”

Deuteronomy 29:20 – “The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD [Yahweh] and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.”

Exodus 20:5 “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD [Yahweh] thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”

Joshua 24:19-20“And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD [Yahweh]: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.”

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you can receive Him into your heart and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
