“Jehovah’s Witnesses claim to oppose the occult. However, when it comes to accepting spiritistic inspiration, they have simply redefined this as inspiration from ‘angels’ or ‘holy spirit.’ The Watch Society (WS) has been involved in occult activity historically. ‘Judge’ Rutherford (former President of the WS) practiced what a channeler would when contacting the spirit world, but he thought of those spirits as angels. But no godly angel is going to give revelations that deny the nature of God and Christ as the Bible teaches them. Rutherford openly stated that angels helped write The Watchtower magazine. F.W. Franz (former President) also spoke of angels guiding the WS. The leaders of the Jehovah’s Witnesses claim to be God’s ‘channel of communication,’ actively ‘channeling’ (a common New Age term) since the days of Rutherford. Rutherford believed that God’s ‘holy spirit’ had ceased to function as his teacher and had been replaced by angels who taught him in his mind. Direct ‘angelic’ guidance was the source behind the deceptive New World Translation Bible, according to F.W. Franz. He testified the info is invisibly communicated to the Publicity Department, and this is accomplished by ‘angels of different ranks who control witnesses.’ In essence, most WS doctrines today were received from ‘angels.’ The question is what kind of angels? The fact the WS have given many false prophecies; has a horrible Bible ‘translation’ that deliberately conceals the deity of Jesus; considers the Holy Trinity as satanic; and has other unbiblical teachings, it’s evident what kind of angels they were. The Bible warns “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (1 Tim. 4:1), and ‘And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light’ (2 Cor. 11:14).”

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice.
