“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” – Genesis 1:27

God Loves the LGBTQ Community, However….
Please note, especially for the non-Christians, this is not a bashing on transgenders, transsexuals, or those with gender dysphoria. None of this comes from a place of bigotry or hatred. This is not “transphobia.” It goes without saying, those who experience gender dysphoria and transgenders are not freaks. They ought to have all basic human rights and should be treated with agapé love and kindness. Indeed, the 2nd greatest commandment is to love our neighbors. They are made in God’s image, thus they are valued by Him. God sent His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for them too (Jn. 3:16).
However, to live the “LGBTQ lifestyle” is not the will of God; nor should anyone approve of such sin (Rom. 1:32). In the beginning, God created them just male and female (Matt. 19:4), and an individual’s biological sex ought to be aligned with gender identity. But now there is a disagreement on the number of biological sexes. The New York Times states that “biologically speaking, there are many gradations running from female to male; along that spectrum lie at least five sexes — perhaps even more.” Today’s society speculates there is gender fluidity—or even a gender “continuum” with x amount of genders, which is simply not Biblical.
The Spread and Acceptance of Transgenderism and Androgyny

Some ancient pagan rituals included some aspects of transgender practice. In some cultures today, transvestism is practiced for religious, traditional, or ceremonial reasons. Now, it seems to be becoming trendy. If there is a growing trend, more likely than not, satan, the one who deceives the whole world (Rev. 12:9), and the god of this age (2 Cor. 4:4), is behind it. No doubt, there is a demonic element behind the LGBTQ movement, which has spread like a wildfire to and in many nations. It is apparent the enemy is trying to normalize it and make it mainstream. Many people, especially the younger generation, are being targeted with the lie.

The media seems to be trying to popularize androgyny and transgenderism as the norm as if they have an agenda. In popular culture, gender-bending/blurring has been glamorized for decades, especially in the worlds of the music and fashion industry (which I have no doubt is run by satan’s kingdom). The androgynous look was especially popularized going back to the 70s with rock stars. But since then, the war against gender has amplified exponentially as it has infiltrated politics, sports, education, and even language itself.
Another example of the growing transgenderism trend is found on the social media app TikTok. According to a news report, TikTok videos with the hashtag #Trans have been viewed over 26 billion times. Incredibly, “such videos often feature young people documenting in a fun, light-hearted way the various stages of undergoing experimental hormones and irreversible, body-altering surgeries to appear more as the opposite sex.” One said TikTok is “hugely influential and it’s full of videos that portray medical transition as cool and edgy” and that “Gender is seen as the new rebellion.”

They are even trying to indoctrinate young children in some schools. From a very young age, students are brainwashed with gender ideology. In fact, “Children — as young as 5 — are being encouraged to disregard their anatomy and choose their gender based on their feelings.” Even the curriculum is being distorted to accommodate this new gender ideology. These days “Elementary-school teachers are putting words on the blackboard like ‘nonbinary’ and ‘transgender’ even before children have learned multiplication” (source). The indoctrination seems to be working. Generation Z (includes people born after 1997) “were nearly four times as likely than those over 40 (4 percent compared to 1 percent) to identify as transgender, nonbinary, gender-nonconforming, gender-fluid or ‘in another way'” (source). A 2021 study suggests that the rate of transgender identification among America’s youth may be as high as 9 in 100.

A lot of teenagers and young adults (Generation Z) are now putting their pronouns in their social media profiles as if they can identify as whatever he or she wants to be regardless of reality. Now there are those who identify as nonbinary, omnigender, polygender, pangender, intergender, bigender, trigender, & transgender (is this not confusion?). Tinder, a popular dating app, expanded its gender options from the typical two to more than fifty, with nine sexualities.

Indeed, the entire premise behind sex-specific competition in sports is the simple scientific reality that, in general, males are stronger, faster and more physically powerful than females (source).” Because of biology, “High school girls — as well as collegiate, amateur, and professional female athletes all over the world and in many sports — are being dominated by biological males (source).” One source reads, “A groundbreaking new study on transgender athletes has found trans women retain a 12% advantage in running tests even after taking hormones for two years to suppress their testosterone.” Another source reads something similar.

Several years ago, Ex-NBA star Dwyane Wade, went on a media tour to talk about his son, Zion, who now identifies as a young lady named Zaya. Zion supposedly knew he was transgender at the tender age of 3 years old. Is it not strange TV shows would dedicate time to talk about the sexuality of a child (source)? Today parents are told that puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones may be the only way to deal with their gender-confused children. The combination can lead to permanent sterility (source). They may also cause major health problems such as strokes, heart attacks, and cancer (source). According to the 2013 DSM-5, possibly as many as 98% gender confused boys and 88% gender confused girls have eventually accepted their biological sex after naturally passing through puberty. Another recent study reads something similar in regard to boys.

Today, satan has perverted some parts of the world so much that there are even several “men” getting pregnant and giving birth to babies. There are many other examples of absurdity with the LGBTQ madness: Men who have transitioned to women have now competed in women’s sports; a biological male recently made history when he was crowned Miss Nevada USA — the win will make him the first openly transgender contestant to compete in the upcoming Miss USA pageant; a new bill was proposed in California that would require big stores to get rid of separate “boys” and “girls” departments for toys and clothes; people who have transitioned can now be inside the restrooms of the opposite sex (meaning a man who became a “woman” can enter female restrooms, and a woman who became a “man” can enter male restrooms); and Joe Biden’s administration announced it will enhance the legal entitlements of transgender public-school students, with new guarantees regarding access to bathrooms, locker rooms and sports competitions. The madness doesn’t seem to let up anytime soon.

Even many self-proclaimed Christians seem to be buying into the deception. According to a survey, just 63% of Christians in the United States say that whether someone is a man or a woman is determined by their sex at birth. That means 37% don’t necessarily think so! For comparison, among religious “nones” – those who identify religiously as atheist, agnostic, or “nothing in particular” – about six-in-ten (62%) say they think a person’s gender is not necessarily determined by the sex they are assigned at birth.
The scriptural truth about transgenderism, maleness, and femaleness
The Bible, God’s word, affirms the binary categories of male and female (Gen. 1:27; 5:2; Matt. 19:4; Mk. 10:6). You are one or the other as God created you. It is biologically unfeasible for a man to become physically a woman or a woman to become physically a man. Never will a trans woman have periods, go through menopause, and get pregnant. Never will a trans man produce sperm cells and deal with prostate problems. Altering one’s appearance cosmetically or chemically will never change the underlying reality of a person’s biological makeup. Chromosomes, physical strength, reproductive system, voice, brain, hormones, genitalia, and other external features all fit one’s birth sex, indicative of God’s purposeful, intelligent design.
Many people today may believe otherwise, but the Bible affirms the organic unity of biological sex and gender (roles). Yes, there are some females who are more drawn to typical male behaviors and inclinations and males who are more drawn to typical female behaviors and inclinations — hardly anyone perfectly fits gender norms because there is some overlap of masculinity and femininity, but the disunion between gender (roles) and sex that is popular in today’s narrative is simply not aligned with the way the Bible speaks of males and females. Attempting to erase the biological significance of maleness and femaleness is attempting to destroy or distort God’s creation order, and His prescribed roles and functions for the distinct sexes, which can be read in the following: Gen. 2:18-20; Pro. 31; Eph. 5:22-23; 1 Pet. 3:1-22; 1 Cor. 11:1-34; 1 Tim. 2:9-12; Titus 2:3-5. Sadly, the LGBTQ revolution is pushing that we ought to believe lies about human nature in direct contradiction with God’s word.
Biology and Anomalies

The norm for human design is to be conceived either male or female. Indeed, a person’s sex — as male or female — is determined at conception. Males develop a body plan to produce male gametes; females develop a body plan to produce female gametes. People who identify themselves as “feeling like the opposite sex” or “somewhere in between” or some other category do not comprise a third sex.
A lot of what is pushed by the transgender movement or a lot of gender theorists is based more on ideology rather than science. Even some of the secular world affirms what the Bible reads: that male and female are objective, binary, and immutable categories.
Dr. Debra Soh, a neuroscientist, wrote:
“Biological sex is either male or female. Contrary to what is commonly believed, sex is defined not by chromosomes or our genitals or hormonal profiles, but by gametes, which are mature reproductive cells. There are only 2 types of gametes: small ones called sperm that are produced by males, and large ones called eggs that are produced by females. Sex is therefore binary. It is not a spectrum.”
Dr. Paul McHugh, a distinguished service professor of psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, admits:
“Transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men. All (including Bruce Jenner) become feminized men or masculinized women, counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which they ‘identify.’ In that lies their problematic future.”
He also said:
“In fact, gender dysphoria—the official psychiatric term for feeling oneself to be of the opposite sex—belongs in the family of similarly disordered assumptions about the body, such as anorexia nervosa and body dysmorphic disorder. Its treatment should not be directed at the body as with surgery and hormones any more than one treat obesity-fearing anorexic patients with liposuction.”

Does biology have any factor in transgenderism? As far as I know, there doesn’t seem to be. It has been inconclusive from a scientific perspective to what is the cause of transgenderism, even after years of research and debate within the medical community. But let’s just assume there is a biological basis for transgenderism and could be proven, would that mean the basis is determinative, or does it only provide a disposition for transgenderism that must also take environmental and cultural factors into account? The latter seems to be more supported by studies. One large twin transsexual adult study found that only 20 percent of identical twins were both trans-identified. The concordance rate should be close to 100 percent if genes and/or prenatal hormones contributed significantly to transgenderism. Moreover, brain studies that purport to distinguish objective differences in the brains of trans-identified individuals are highly flawed and inconclusive.
But what about people who are intersex or have differences in sex development—does this exceptionally rare condition (one estimate is they make up only 0.018% of the population) prove sex is nonbinary or on a spectrum? No. Intersexuality is a rare biological condition where an individual may have genital ambiguity or genetic variance. In human biology, however, anomalies do not negate categories. Intersex people are still either male or female; not both or neither, and it is not a third sex because there is no third gamete. Just because they have atypical sex characteristics doesn’t make them less male or female. Sex is not bimodal. The anomaly of intersex people does not undermine God’s design of the sexes but rather gives another example of the “groaning” and the “less than ideal” realities of a fallen sinful world (Rom. 8:19-23).
Biblical Prohibition

Let all things be tested by the word of God. Scriptures that can be a condemnation of transgenderism can be found in its condemnations of homosexuality in Romans 1:18-32 (transgenders can be perverting what is of a “natural use”); and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (verse 9 condemns the effeminate). Under the old covenant, transvestism or cross-dressing was condemned (Deut. 22:5).
Additionally, the Bible reads we ought to imitate Christ and walk as He walked (1 Cor. 11:1; 1 John 2:6). Do you actually believe Jesus would ever get involved in cross-dressing or transvestism? Do you believe, the Holy One (Mark 1:24) would approve of a person drastically altering her biological makeup and anatomy and giving birth to a baby as a “man”? Indeed, a Christian’s body belongs to God, therefore we ought to glorify Him with our body according to His will (1 Cor. 6:20).
But shouldn’t those who think of themselves as the opposite gender just accept it and yield to how they feel and think — no harm, no foul, right? Just because one may feel or think a certain way doesn’t mean one should always yield to those feelings or thoughts. The Bible reads that the heart is desperately wicked, who can know it (Jer. 17:9)? If one is not regenerated by God — does not have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit — it is very easy to be led astray by the enemy and/or the flesh. Our lifestyle and mind should be aligned with God’s will (1 Cor. 2:16; Rom. 12:2).
Is gender dysphoria and/or transgenderism demonic?

I have sort of assumed gender dysphoria has a demonic basis, at least for some cases, but I wanted confirmation. Why did I think it was demonic? I have prayed for several demonized people where the demons’ goals were to undermine their identity and make them think they are something they are not. Moreover, I know satan likes to corrupt and distort human sexuality, which was created by God. The person wouldn’t realize what the enemy has been doing to them until they came to Christ and/or received deliverance. God is not the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33), but the enemy surely is. I prayed to God for confirmation. Not long after my prayer, a demonized person with such an issue contacted me for deliverance prayer. In my ministry, I have never seen a clear-cut example of a demonized person with transgender/gender dysphoria issues up to that point. When I spoke with her, she revealed she was distraught and confused because a voice spoke to her and told her she was a boy. She had same-sex attractions and felt that she was a boy trapped in a female’s body. I prayed for deliverance for her, and it seemed obvious she was demonized, as she exhibited several symptoms of demonization.
Additionally, I inquired with an older deliverance minister about this matter who is much more experienced than I in deliverance ministry, and he said it is indeed demonic. To me, it is more confirmation that demons can definitely be behind gender confusion or dysphoria.
(Note: I am not suggesting every single case of gender dysphoria or transgendered is attributed directly to demonization, i.e., the person has demons or a demon indwelt. However, I do believe, at least in some or a lot of cases, it can be.)
I strongly suspect anorexia nervosa (the mistaken belief of thinking of oneself as obese); body dysmorphic disorder (harboring the erroneous conviction that one is ugly); and body integrity identity disorder or apotemnophilia (a person who identifies as a disabled person and feels trapped in a fully functional body — some are so distressed with their fully capable bodies that they seek surgical amputation of healthy limbs or the surgical severing of their spinal cord), can also be attributed to demonization. Like someone with gender dysphoria who has a delusional belief of themselves, those with body integrity identity disorder also have a delusional belief of themselves — both believe the body they are born with does not match their identity. There are many parallels. Indeed, the enemy can influence people to have false and irrational beliefs about themselves. As someone with extensive experience in deliverance ministry, I have seen how demons can greatly confuse an individual.
It is likely that the vast majority of those with gender dysphoria have been sexually abused as a child, which can open doors to demons. Walt Heyer, 81, a former transgender who experienced childhood sexual abuse and now has his own ministry in regard to transgenderism, said that “unresolved issues with childhood sexual abuse are a powerful and recurring theme in those who experience sex change regret.” He explained, “Every single person of the thousands I have spoken with over the years can pinpoint the trauma or the abuse that lies at the root of it all.”
Walt revealed that as he moved through adolescence after the abuse, the “girl” inside his head grew more powerful and demanded more of his time. He says he allowed the girl inside his head to express “herself” more and more, and he would yield to it by cross-dressing. Ultimately, Walt pinned his hopes on sex surgery as the solution that would make his inner pain go away permanently. He realized that the surgery was a “complete fraud” and a “huge mistake.” He felt like an imposter as a woman. But then he eventually found Jesus.
With much experience praying for deliverance for people who were sexually abused [more details found in this post], I easily inferred that demons have entered the victims from the perpetrators via the sexual abuse. This leads to more credence that demonization can be behind gender dysphoria. It seems to me that the girl inside Walt’s head was a demon influencing him to go on the route he went on. Indeed, the “feminine essence” transgender activists have mentioned, to promote acceptance of male-to-female transsexuals, is also likely to be demonic.
Christ for Deliverance

Instead of going through such drastic measures to attempt to transform into another gender, such as via mutilations, reconstructive surgery, puberty blocker medications, or cross-sex hormone therapy, one ought to be transformed in the image of Christ — an inward transformation (2 Cor. 3:18; Rom. 8:29). God desires people to put on a new self, created to be like Him in true righteousness and holiness (Eph. 4:24). We cannot remake ourselves by our self-will or even our deepest perceptions, but God can certainly remake us into a new creation in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17). God, who is a God of love (1 Jn. 4:8), can transform and deliver transsexuals, transgenders, transvestites, and those with gender dysphoria or any disorder. Nothing is impossible for the Lord. And God’s forgiveness is available in Jesus Christ to the worst of sinners. When we trust Christ as our Savior, the beauty of God’s design comes into view. Our conversion opens our eyes to the nature and purpose of our God-given sex.
If you are having issues or troubles with your identity or sexuality, then I strongly encourage turning to the Lord Jesus. There are many testimonies of people delivered from gender dysphoria and other related issues by the power of Jesus. God is real! Surely nothing is impossible for God that He couldn’t fix a person in any area. It also wouldn’t hurt to get prayer for deliverance if you are struggling with such issues. It very well can be that because of demonization you have strong feelings of being the opposite sex or feel compelled to cross-dress.
You may want to watch Arianna Armour’s testimony from being transgendered to being transformed — she recounts that she was delivered from a Jezebel spirit:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – 2 Cor. 5:17
“And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” – Eph. 4:24
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” – Rom. 12:2
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” – 1 Cor. 14:33
Definition of several used terms
A man is “1. An adult male human.”
A male is “an individual of the sex that produces spermatozoa.”
A woman “is an adult female human” [additional sources 1,2].
A female is “the sex of an organism that produces the large non-motile ova (egg cells), the type of gamete (sex cell) that fuses with the male gamete during sexual reproduction.”
Gender [2] “Category to which an individual is assigned by self or others, on the basis of sex.”
“The concept of gender, in the modern sense, is a recent invention in human history. The ancient world had no basis of understanding gender as it has been understood in the humanities and social sciences for the past few decades. The term gender had been associated with grammar for most of history and only started to move towards it being a malleable cultural construct in the 1950s and 1960s.”
“Before Sexologist John Money and colleagues introduced the terminological distinction between biological sex and gender as a role in 1955, it was uncommon to use the word gender to refer to anything but grammatical categories. For example, in a bibliography of 12,000 references on marriage and family from 1900 to 1964, the term gender does not even emerge once. Analysis of more than 30 million academic article titles from 1945 to 2001 showed that the uses of the term ‘gender‘, were much rarer than uses of ‘sex‘, was often used as a grammatical category early in this period. By the end of this period, uses of ‘gender‘ outnumbered uses of ‘sex‘ in the social sciences, arts, and humanities. It was in the 1970s that feminist scholars adopted the term gender as way of distinguishing “socially constructed” aspects of male–female differences (gender) from “biologically determined” aspects (sex).
In the last two decades of the 20th century, the use of gender in academia has increased greatly, outnumbering uses of sex in the social sciences. While the spread of the word in science publications can be attributed to the influence of feminism, its use as a synonym for sex is attributed to the failure to grasp the distinction made in feminist theory, and the distinction has sometimes become blurred with the theory itself;…”
Transgenders are people who “have a gender identity or gender expression that differs from the sex that they were assigned at birth. Some transgender people who desire medical assistance to transition from one sex to another identify as transsexual. Transgender, often shortened as trans, is also an umbrella term; in addition to including people whose gender identity is the opposite of their assigned sex (trans men and trans women).”
Transgenderism is “the fact of not having your gender match the body you were born with. This word is often used by people who think that this is a bad thing, or who want to suggest that transgender people are wrong about their gender:”
Transsexuals “are people who experience a gender identity that is inconsistent with their assigned sex and desire to permanently transition to the sex or gender with which they identify, usually seeking medical assistance…. to help them align their body with their identified sex or gender. The term transsexual is a subset of transgender.”
Transvestism (also known as cross-dressing) “is the practice of dressing in a manner traditionally associated with the opposite sex.”
Gender transitioning “is the process of changing one’s gender presentation or sex characteristics to accord with one’s internal sense of gender identity – the idea of what it means to be a man or a woman, or to be non-binary or genderqueer. For transgender and transsexual people, this process commonly involves reassignment therapy (which may include hormone replacement therapy and sex reassignment surgery).”
Gender dysphoria “is the distress a person feels due to a mismatch between their gender identity—their personal sense of their own gender—and their sex assigned at birth.” People with gender dysphoria believe their biological body is lying to them. A person in this situation truly believes he or she is a member of the opposite sex. It was called gender identity disorder until 2013 with the release of the DSM-5, and was considered a mental disorder by the World Health Organization until Leftists put pressure on them which led it to be declassified.
Intersex are “individuals born with any of several sex characteristics including chromosome patterns, gonads, or genitals that, according to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, ‘do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies’.”
LGBTQ acronym is “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (one’s sexual or gender identity).”
If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.
If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):
“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
As always, thank you for all the God-given wisdom, courage and strength you put into your writing.

You go into depth on the most challenging of issues to address, doing it with eloquence, compassion and unique thoroughness. This post is no exception. When I think of people being determined to be the opposite sex or feeling euphoric about being called “it”, blaring red horns and bright red signs go off in my head, pointing to demonic oppression. When simple science is turned upside down and accepted into society, the end of logic, not to mention critical thinking, has arrived. When oversexualization permeates our schools, starting with young children, and when men are able to change in women’s locker rooms … signs of End Times.
