“Many deliverance ministers (including I) have confronted this spirit in people. Leviathan is usually associated with pride. In Job 41:34 it reads “he is a king over all the children of pride” and it is believed that pride gives this spirit an entry into people’s lives. Its influence is over those who are guilty of pride & self-righteousness. Pride brings destruction & a curse, causing a person to err (Ps. 119:21). God resists the proud (James 4:6). The fear of the Lord is to hate pride & arrogance (Prov. 8:13). This spirt can ruin marriages, friendships, & worst of all ministries. The condemnation of satan is associated with pride (1 Tim. 3:6) & his undoing. Prov. 8:13 reads God hates pride, therefore there is no place in us for it. Prov. 16:18 warns that pride goes before destruction & a haughty spirit before a fall. Ps. 10:4 declares it to be the root cause of atheism. Haughtiness is responsible for the downfall of Nebuchadnezzar in Dan. Ch. 4. The Good News is that the Lord and God Jesus is both the Answer & the Deliverer. There is no condemnation in Jesus Christ. May we all humble ourselves before the Lord & root out all pride for the deliverance of Leviathan in the name of Jesus.”

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.
If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):
“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
