“Brought to Cuba by Yoruban nations of West Africa, Santeria, a syncretized faith, is based upon the development of personal relationships via divination, sacrifice, initiation, and mediumship between practitioners of the religion and the orisha spiritual entities which intercede with the daily lives of humans and, if appeased, can “help” mankind. In Santeria, with oracle consultation, they interpret consecrated nuts to reveal the orishas’ response to a seeker’s question. They prescribe some form of sacrifice to one or several of the orishas. In 1993, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the right of devotees to practice the controversial rite of animal sacrifice which is practiced in the faith. Orishas favor certain foods, and the worshipers bring these to the ceremony. Music, dancing, and drumming are prominent in Santerian worship and are regarded as equivalents to prayer. Devotees will lose themselves more deeply in their ceremonies as they dance and sing among the orishas. Santerian spells, talismans, and charms are also elements of Santeria. Many of these aim at attracting love, money, etc. The Santerian mediums, or channelers, believe that they are making themselves available to the spirits of departed human beings or other entities. Having achieved a trance state, the Santerian channeler may speak with various voices that are unlike his or her familiar normal voice. The channeler’s facial expressions often change as well when the “other entities” are speaking. There are an estimated 2 million people who dabble in Santeria in the U.S. and 75-100 million in Latin America. The most famous practitioner is Jennifer Lopez. The Bible condemns all forms of witchcraft, channeling, divination, and idolatry. Those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Gal. 5:9-11). The orishas to whom they pay homage to are nothing other than satan’s demons masquerading, who tremble at the Lord and God Jesus Christ.”

Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Practices Voodoo or Santeria

If you have been involved with Santeria and have turned to the Lord and God Jesus Christ but still have demonic issues, feel free to contact me for deliverance prayer.

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
