“Angel contact, angel consciousness, and angel work refers to New Age forms of communication with alleged angels for purposes of spiritual assistance or fostering New Age goals. Angel contact works through direct, personal contact, usually through meditation or divination (which the Bible condemns), with and/or instructions from supposed Godly messengers. Angel consciousness involves an altered state of consciousness, or oneness to the psychic realm, which is interpreted to be involvement with divine energies & powers. Scores of cults & false religions were instituted or nurtured by “angelic” contact. For instance, Joseph Smith derived the “Book of Mormon” from the “angel Moroni.” “Angels” have played a large role in the Jehovah’s Witness cult & their terribly translated NWT Bible. Yes, good angels are real and can be active in people’s lives (2 Kings 6:15-17), but the Bible reveals 1/3rd of angels are malicious & bent on deceiving (Rev. 12:4), & satan can transform into an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14). Thus, we must test these spirits with the Word of God. Godly angels never deny or twist the teachings of Jesus Christ or the Bible, but “angels” in the New Age do this routinely when they teach basic pagan, New Age beliefs, including Hinduism, occult practices, pantheism, universalism, & that Christ dwells within all people irrespective of faith in Him. “Angel” morality is consistent with that found in the occult in general—a questionable morality. They endorse illicit sex, abortion, divorce, & virtually every moral lapse one might think of. They also support New Age medicine, and occult holistic health practices, and encourage automatic writing, the use of mantras, and mandalas, shamanistic vision quests, manipulation of chakras, & psychic healing. They endorse positive confession teachings & self-help. They seem to appeal to people’s egos. They teach we are divine. Demons are impersonating good angels today not only for purposes of spiritual deception, so they can easily oppress & possess people through the guise of “higher consciousness” and “union with God.” Biblical angels possess no one—people can’t channel Biblical angels. Demons, of course, have a long history of possessing people and the Bible condemns channeling. Biblical angels glorify & worship the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible & do not give revelations contrary to scripture. There are no examples in scripture where humans were able to give angels commands, either in their own name or in Jesus’ name. Nor is it Biblical to pray to angels. Angels are called God’s “holy angels,” who do His bidding, not ours.”
The Bible never teaches praying to any other person or being but God alone. The Bible doesn’t endorse contacting or praying to angels.
Jesus said in Matthew 6:
“9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.“
Jesus also said in John 14:
“13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
Nor do godly angels receive worship (Revelation 22:8-9). Only God, the Creator, is worthy of worship.

Don’t be fooled by a sugar coated package – pink girly Angel Cards, Angel Workshops and so on, summon the same deceptive and evil demons that darker looking tarot cards/ouija boards do!
The best thing to do with Angel Boards, Angel Cards, and so on is burn them. As you do so, pray and ask Jesus to cleanse you and set you free from the demonic oppression or possession and curses the fallen angels bring into the lives of your family, yourself and your descendants.

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.
If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):
“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
