Let us read what the Koran says about Jesus Christ.

In blasphemy indeed are those that say that God is Christ the son of Mary. -Surah 5:17 (Yusuf Ali)

They say: “God hath begotten a son!” – Glory be to Him! He is self-sufficient! His are all things in the heavens and on earth! No warrant have ye for this! Say ye about Allah what ye know not? -Surah 10:68 (Yusuf Ali)

They said, “The Most Gracious has begotten a son”! You have uttered a gross blasphemy. The heavens are about to shatter, the earth is about to tear asunder, and the mountains are about to crumble. Because they claim that the Most Gracious has begotten a son. It is not befitting the Most Gracious that He should beget a son. -Surah 19:88-92 (Rashad Khalifa)

Quran (9:30) And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!

Proclaim, “He is the One and Only GOD. “The Absolute GOD. “Never did He beget, nor was He begotten. “None equals Him.” Quran 112:1-4

The Messiah, the son of Mary, Was no more than a messenger like the messengers before him, And his mother was a saint. Both of them used to eat food. Note how we explain the revelations for them, And note how they still deviate! Quran 5:75

What does the Holy Scriptures (the Bible) say about Jesus which came 600 years before Islam?:

John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

John 1:18—“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

John 1:18—“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

John 1:1-3, 14—“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Matthew 16:16-17 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”

1 John 5:5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

1 John 5:10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.

Hebrews 1:8—“But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.”

Isaiah 7:14—“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Immanuel literally means “God with us”).

Isaiah 9:6—“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end….”

Philippians 2:5-8—“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

Even the demons knew who Jesus Christ was and feared Him: “While Jesus was in the synagogue, a man was there that had an evil spirit {from the devil} inside him. The man shouted, “Jesus of Nazareth! What do you want with us? Did you come to destroy us? I know who you are–God’s Holy One!” Mark 1

Muslims believe Jesus was a mere prophet, but Jesus said the following…

Jesus Christ said He will raise people on the last day and everyone who believes in Him have everlasting life (John 6:40).

Jesus called Himself the Bread of Life and whoever eats will live forever (John 6:51).

Jesus called Himself THE door, not a door, and that anyone enters by Him will be saved (John 10:9).

Jesus called Himself the resurrection and the life (John 11:25).

Jesus called Himself the way, the truth, and the life and no one can come to the Father but by Him (John 14:6).

Jesus said all authority in heaven and earth belongs to Him (Matth. 28:18) and He says He is the King of the Jews (Luke 23:3), and whoever believes in the gospel (that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, buried, and was resurrected on the 3rd day) and baptized will be saved but those who do not are condemned (Mark 16:16)

Jesus said He is going to come in great glory with His angels to separate the sheep from the goat (Matt. 25:31) and all judgment has been committed to Him (John 5:22).

Jesus confirmed He was the Son of God. “Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven.…” Matt. 16:16-17

Jesus said to watch and pray so that you are counted worthy to stand before Him (Luke 21:36).

Jesus said if the people didn’t praise Him (they were saying “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord”) the stones would cry out (Luke 19:40).

Jesus said if you have seen Him, you would see the Father (John 14:9).

Jesus said His blood is shed for many for the remission of sins (Matt. 26:28)

Jesus said He was from above and that you will die in your sins if you don’t believe that He is the Christ or I AM (John 8:21-24)

Was Jesus a liar or telling the truth?

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can receive Him into your heart, and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere, you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
