Wrestling With Evil

Many people wrestle with demons of having unclean, impure thoughts, of a sexual nature, disturbingly even about children. And what I mean by demons, I don’t mean it in a metaphorical sense. I mean, there are literal demons inside of people that pressure their flesh to desire such perversion, feeding them twisted thoughts and feelings of lust. For some people, these thoughts are persistent and can be overwhelming. For most such people, they are unaware that there are actually evil spirits indwelling in them, manipulating their strings like a puppet and trying to get them to commit gross, criminal evil acts. Many people struggle with these evil thoughts or perverse desires, not knowing what the underlying cause really is. Those plagued with such an issue may think they will struggle with it for the rest of their lives.

What is the goal of this post? Apologies for delving into such a sensitive and disturbing topic, but one of the purposes of this post is for men and women who struggle with urges or desires to sexually abuse, molest, or have sexual attraction to minors to recognize the likely underlying cause and provide the solution. Indeed, the fundamental issue, at least in most cases, is spiritual. As we will read later, there are numerous news reports of instances of blatant demonization. Such people were candid about what compelled them to do such evil.

This is, of course, a serious issue. I suspect there are a lot of men (and women) who are struggling with pedophilic thoughts or urges, or have desires to molest children or watch child pornography, than what is reported. I assume many are unwilling to confess it to others and seek help because of the strong stigma attached to such thoughts or feelings.

Sadly, many people have given in to such evil desires, leading to the victimization of the innocent, resulting in much harm and suffering. There are news reports about people from all walks of life who have been involved in the wicked act of having sexual contact with a child as an adult: from priests to coaches, from policemen to doctors, from the very wealthy to the poor, from school teachers to celebrities, from occultists to Hindu gurus.

If you are struggling with this issue, whether you are a non-Christian or Christian (yes, Christians can be demonized), allow me to propose to you that these feelings plaguing you are because of demonization. There is a solution to your issue – the Lord and God Jesus Christ and deliverance (i.e., casting out the evil spirits indwelling).

The Bible’s Revelation of the Spiritual Realm

There is more to this world than what meets the eye. There is a spiritual realm that interacts with the natural realm. The Bible, God’s word, gives the following example of how angels fought alongside God’s people: “And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha” (2 Kings 6:15-17).

The Bible reveals that we wrestle with these entities who work through people: “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).” In other words, evil spirits work through people to carry out satan’s agenda which is to defile, oppose, steal, control, afflict, steal, kill, destroy, among other things.

The Lord Jesus Himself cast out demons from many people, and He was always victorious over them; they even feared Him, knowing He had the authority to torment them. The demons had the demonized act out in a way that was outside their normal behavior. The following is an example:

“And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.” (Matthew 8:28-32; Mark 5:1-20)

The Bible provides numerous other examples of how the spirit realm affects the natural realm. Whether you believe it or not, this is our reality.

Experiences With Demonized People — How it is Demonic

Over the many years of being involved in deliverance ministry, several people have contacted me and were honest about having urges to do sexual things to children. Thankfully, some of them said they never acted on it (according to them). They recognized there was something demonic going on with them — the demons inside of them were putting pressure on them to commit the evil act. They know it’s wrong, and that’s why they resisted. They hate it and want freedom from such desires that the enemy is behind.

However, some have confided to me they did act on it. Several years ago, I remember praying for deliverance for a man who admitted to me he sexually assaulted a child or children. He was extremely remorseful about his crime(s) but wanted freedom from the evil spirits that were blatantly influencing and oppressing him. When I prayed for deliverance for him, it was one of the most dramatic physical demonic manifestations I have ever seen. His face transformed into an extremely grotesque disfiguration, with disturbing sounds coming from his mouth. Being involved in deliverance ministry for a long time, one gets accustomed to seeing all kinds of manifestations when demons are confronted with deliverance prayer, but that one certainly stands out in my memory. My memories of ministering to him are etched into my mind because of how utterly disturbing it was.

That encounter is a reminder that evil is not merely a concept but a real force. There is a real, invisible realm that somehow moves people to commit evil acts or have evil thoughts. The head entity of this evil force is satan, who, according to the Bible, rebelled against God and is an adversary against all of humanity and godly angels. Satan fervently hates everyone, but especially children. One of the cruelest things a person can do is to defile a child and take away his or her innocence. That is a goal of the devil. It is very damaging to the victim, even insofar as the evil spirits from the perpetrator can transfer into the victim! Just about every single person I have come across in deliverance ministry who has been a victim of sexual abuse as a child was demonized. A lot of times, those evil spirits will compel the victim to be involved in gross sexual immorality. It makes more sense why satan’s kingdom uses predators to victimize children. The devil wants everyone to be filled with evil spirits. The enemy is truly diabolical.

It’s worth mentioning that even children can be perpetrators. People have contacted me who were molested as a child by another child. It’s not natural for a person, especially a child, to do such a thing to a child. Where does such an impulse originate from? What moved a child to do such a perverted act? It’s in most, or all, cases demonic (yes, children can be demonized).

[Note: Even though there is a demonic influence behind such horrible crimes against children in most, if not all, cases, those who have committed such crimes should always take accountability. Saying “the devil made me do it” is not a valid excuse. Eve used a similar excuse: “The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat” (Genesis 3:13), but her excuse did not free her from the consequences (verse 16). Satan’s kingdom may influence a person to commit such horrific acts, but God never allows a person to be tempted beyond their ability to withstand, and He always provides a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). People still have the free will choice to give in or to resist. There is absolutely no excuse for a person to do such a thing to a child (or anyone, for that matter), even if a person is heavily demonically influenced or possessed.]

A Great Sin

Not that the Bible needs to explicitly read that it is condemned, as it is self-evidently immoral. Even the vast majority of atheists and pagans agree that it is evil. The Bible reads that God has written His law in our hearts, and we have a God-given conscience, including unbelievers (Romans 2:15). There is no direct mention of pedophilia in the Bible, however many biblical principles definitely apply that condemn it as sin.

In one passage, Jesus says, “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6).

Jesus expressed His great value for children: “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10).

And: “… Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them” (Mark 10:14-16).

To exploit, corrupt, harm, or defile a child in any shape or form is a great sin in God’s eyes.

God didn’t create adults to be sexually attractive to children, just as He didn’t create people to be sexually attracted to the same sex or animals. Such an attraction is a perversion that, in most cases, if not all, stems from satan’s kingdom.

Forgiveness in Jesus

If you have been a perpetrator (i.e., sexually violated, exploited, abused, sexualized, etc., children or a child), despite the seriousness of such a sin, know that God’s mercy, forgiveness, and grace are still available if you truly repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. Indeed, God’s forgiveness is vast enough to forgive the worst of sinners. The Lord is indeed very merciful (Matthew 9:13; Ephesians 2:4–6; Hebrews 4:16; James 2:13). You can still make things right with God and be reconciled with Him for salvation. Otherwise, God’s wrath will abide on you (John 3:36), and “[i]t is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:31).

[Note: I know some struggle with God being able to forgive a child predator and want to consign all of them to the worst of the worst places in hellfire. It’s understandable to find it objectionable for God to forgive someone who has done such an abominable act and a serious violation of an innocent person who is made in God’s image. Still, the Biblical truth is that God can forgive such a person. Remember, the apostle Paul persecuted Christians beyond measure, threatening them with murder, and voting for their deaths (Galatians 1:13-23; 1 Corinthians 15:9-10; Philippians 3:5-6; 1 Timothy 1:13; Acts 9:1-3; Acts 22:1-5; Acts 26:9-11). He once committed great evil against the children of God. After Paul submitted to Christ, he wrote, “that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief” (1 Timothy 1:15). God used him so mightily that most of the New Testament corpus comprises his writings. Also, some may believe that some child predators are too far gone to turn to Christ, as the Bible reads about those with a reprobate mind (Romans 1:28), but one can’t know for certain one has such a mind.]

Deliverance in Christ

As in homosexuality, bestiality, and incest, pedophilia is also driven by some kind of spirit of lust and perversion. How much more relief would a person have from the urges once the root problem is recognized and dealt with by the authority and power of the Lord Jesus Christ?

To reiterate, if you have an attraction to minors (as an adult) or have sexually assaulted a child, you are most likely demonized. After submitting to Christ, I would get prayer for deliverance. It wouldn’t hurt to give it a try. As far as I know, the secular world has no cure for such an issue, which would make sense because it is fundamentally a spiritual issue (at least in most cases).

Again, a lot of people don’t recognize or discern that there is an underlying demonic issue. If more people knew what was really behind such feelings, perhaps they would seek God and be delivered, and thus fewer children would be victimized.

Addendum

News Reports of Demonized People Committing Crimes Against Children

Some people reading this may still be skeptical that there are literal demonic entities behind the sexual predation of children (or any sexual predation of anyone, for that matter). Some may doubt that sexual lust for children and sexual violence perpetrated against them can be attributed to evil spirits. Also, some may even reject the notion that demonic entities exist, period. Perhaps one thinks this is all just Christian make-believe, falsely blaming an unproven devil for individuals’ bad actions. To further drive the point home and strengthen the case that there can be a spiritual basis to this, the following are snippets of news reports of child molesters or rapists who have admitted they were possessed by a demon or demons. [Warning: the following quotations are extremely graphic in nature and disturbing. Reader discretion is advised.]

Christopher Michael Schultz, 47, was arrested Monday afternoon according to court documents obtained by Action News.

The alleged victim, now 14-years-old, told investigators she was ten when Schultz initially began molesting her.

She says it continued for a few months, happening at least once every two weeks, and alleges he’s done so recently

The alleged victim told investigators at times, she would choose specific clothing to make it more difficult for Schultz to molest her, she says it did not work.

Court documents say the girl confronted Schultz, at which point he told her he had been “possessed by a demon.“

A Bradenton-Lakewood Ranch area youth soccer coordinator has been charged with allegedly molesting a child under the age of 12.

Detectives said Brooks is accused of touching a 6-year-old boy in a sexual manner at a Bradenton home. Brooks at first denied the allegation, but later contacted the victim’s mother, met with her and admitted that “he touched the victim once for approximately 30 seconds,” the arrest report stated.

Brooks was arrested and allegedly admitted to the allegations to a detective and also stated, according to the report, he did it because he was “possessed by demons, and it made him feel good and satisfied.”

Brooks was charged with lewd or lascivious molestation on a child less than 12 years old.

An Oklahoma missionary who is accused of raping and molesting ten children at the Kenyan orphanage where he was working claims he was possessed by a demon named Luke, federal prosecutors say. 

In text messages released in court documents, 19-year-old Matthew Lane Durham talked to a friend about his supposed alter-ego: ‘Literally he takes me at night and there is nothing I can do to stop him.

Kester and his wife, 51-year-old Sarah Kester, were arrested last July after the victims – female relatives of the couple – came forward about the abuse. According to investigators, Kester repeatedly sexually assaulted the girls until each was about 10 or 12 years old. 

According to court documents, Kester admitted to molesting the girls, but told police a “bad guy” or a “demon” had made him to it. 

Sarah Kester was not accused of participating in the abuse itself, but admitted she knew the children were being molested and did not intervene or alert police.

A St. Paul man who said “I have a demon inside” was charged with molesting a 6-year-old girl, according to a criminal complaint filed Friday in Ramsey County District Court.

James Xang Vang, 21, was charged with first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly touching the child, a relative of a friend, during a two-year period between June 2012 and last month, according to the complaint.

A former Milwaukee educator has been arrested and subsequently fired from his job. 46-year-old Ronnie Johnson was arrested on Friday, July 26th, and now faces 14 counts, including sexual assault of a child.

Additionally, the complaint indicates officials discovered two letters addressed to Ronnie Johnson from the Waupun Correctional Institute, one of which read, in part:

“I have a question for you that might shock you a lot. I want you – no I need you to answer it straight forward. Truthfully. Why were you making me do those things to you, and why were you doing them to me? Sexually? Having me touch you, and making me lay on my stomach while you’re on top of me? And everything else that was going on when I was @ that very young age? In every way, you molested me Ronn. It may no have been in a violent way, but you did. You sexually molested me. Why? I sometimes sit and wonder if that is one of the reasons why I was acting how I was. Doing what I was doing. Running the streets and all.”

In the criminal complaint, investigators reviewed a text message between Johnson and a victim. Police say Johnson claimed a demon possessed him.

Court documents show a separate victim recorded an alleged assault in a journal.

Officials also discovered a sex toy, Playboy magazines, a photo of a young man sleeping, letters from former graduates of the Young Leaders Academy, a silver iPad, and several photos of unknown juveniles, according to the complaint.

Brown Deer Police say they are still investigating, believing this has been occurring for many years, with multiple victims.

Tomas Antonio Silva said he threw away the phone with lewd pictures on it and destroyed the computers on which he claimed to have read graphic stories about incest. But the “demons” that allegedly drove him to fondle an 8-year-old female relative didn’t go away.

Telling authorities he was afraid of what he’d do next, the West St. Paul man turned himself in last week.

Now Silva, 40, is charged with second-degree felony criminal sexual conduct. He is free on $30,000 bail.

Kyle Hancock is being held without bond for first degree rape and first degree burglary after the rape of a 5-year-old girl.

Among the witnesses that link Hancock to the crime is a man who was with him at the time of his arrest. According to the police report, the man confronted Hancock about the rape.

“Kyle Hancock then told the male witness that he was the one that sexually assaulted the girl and that he stated to the witness, ‘I have a demon in me,'” the arresting officer said.

A Traverse City-area man accused of killing his infant daughter during a sexual assault told police that an “evil spirit” must have taken over his body.

But attorneys for Steven William Deuman Jr., who is charged with murder and aggravated sexual abuse in his 3-month-old daughter’s death, contend that the death was accidental.

A man, David Gaius has been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command for allegedly raping his stepdaughter.

He said he first had carnal knowledge of the girl in 2020 when she was 14 years old while living in the same house with his wife and other children after the other members of the family had slept.

Police: PA Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Girls 8, 10 Says He Was Possessed By Devil

A Telford man who told authorities he was possessed by the devil was slapped with various assault and abuse charges Tuesday after police say he sexually abused two girls ages 8 and 10, and took upskirt photos of a 16-year-old girl…

A 46 year old man from Samoa told police an evil spirit made him sexually abuse his 16 year old niece on several occasions between September and November 2019.

He  was also drunk and on drugs when the indecent acts happened.

Samoa News reports the man who was not named to protect the victim’s identity was arrested two weeks ago after the victim’s grandmother reported the alleged incidents to police.

A man who claimed black magic was responsible for him raping and sexually assaulting his daughter has been jailed for six years at Dublin Central Criminal Court.

The 38-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, believed his brother sent an evil spirit through his daughter, who was 19 at the time, to make him rape her, the court heard.

After he committed the offence he told a psychiatrist he felt an “overwhelming sense of energy through his body” and felt he was “possessed by an evil spirit” and that he was horrified by what he did. He immediately went to gardaí to report what he had done.

The man, who was living in Cork, pleaded guilty to raping his daughter at the family home on July 30, 2014. He further pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting his daughter on July 29, 2014.

Sergeant Kieran O’Sullivan told prosecuting counsel Tim O’Leary SC, the daughter had returned from a holiday and while she was putting on her pyjamas, her father came into her bedroom and asked her if she was a virgin.

She told gardaí she was reluctant to tell him but he told her: “If you don’t tell me I will have to take a look”.

She said he took off her pyjamas and opened her legs and said: “You lied to me.”

The next morning she said she went into the sitting room and her father had apologised for what happened the previous night.

He then locked the sitting room door and took a 10 inch knife from underneath a cushion which he threatened to hurt her with if she did not come out from behind the couch.

He took off his top and told her she was going to have sex with him before warning her he would kill her if she tried anything.

He ordered her to take off her clothes and after she begged with him, he told her if she didn’t take off her underwear he would kill her.

She told gardaí her father then had sex with her on the sitting room floor and he then stood up and put his clothes on before telling her he was going to kill himself.

The daughter phoned a friend and told her what had happened. The man had presented himself at a local garda station where he reported he had raped his daughter, the court heard.

Sgt O’Sullivan said the man has no previous convictions and the victim did not want to make a victim impact statement.

Defence counsel Tom Creed SC, said: “It is a most extraordinary case and the victim adopted a sympathetic course notwithstanding the traumatic experience she went through.”

He said the man’s daughter wrote a letter to gardaí stating she did not want her father to go to prison as she “just wants it all to be over with”.

He said the man has no psychiatric illnesses and denies any previous sexual fantasies.

“He told a psychiatrist he believes he was possessed by evil spirits and this is a belief shared by his wider family,” said Mr Creed.

“It was completely out of character, he had a loving relationship with his daughter and has no signs of psychiatric illness,” said Mr Creed.

Mr Justice Tony Hunt said: “I’ve given up saying I have heard it all before but this one beggars belief. There are unusual features to this case.”

He handed down a ten-year sentence but suspended the last four years.

A South Florida man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl claims the devil made him do it, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Christopher J. Knight, 35, was arrested on charges of sexual battery, lewd or lascivious molestation and lewd or lascivious exhibition.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the girl told deputies that Knight went into her bedroom while she was sleeping Friday and raped her. While Knight was on top of the girl, an unidentified woman walked in and asked him what he was doing, the report said.

Knight apologized, saying he was sick and explaining that the devil made him do bad things, the report said.

The girl also claimed that Knight had inappropriately touched her and masturbated in front of her at least twice a week from 2010 to 2012.

The Sasolburg regional court sentenced the 37-year-old man from Zamdela after he was found guilty of raping his daughter between August 1 2020 and November 15 last year.

An Mpumalanga man who was sentenced to eight life sentences for smashing the skulls of three women and one teenager with a pick before raping them has told the court that demons made him commit the crimes.

Region Makhubela, 23, from Mkhuhlu near Bushbuckridge, was arrested on October 12 2013 after he was suspected of raping and murdering Wendy Mabunda, 16, at the Mkhuhlu taxi rank.

After his arrest, he was linked to the rapes and murders of Phethasi Mandlazi, 81, and Anna Honyini, 78, at their Mkhuhlu home on September 10 2013 and the rape and murder of a nurse Kotsana Msesi Tibana, 58, who was burnt in her house in the same area on September 29.

He faced 10 counts including four murders, four rapes, robbery and arson.

Judge Zeenat Carelse described Makhubela as an offender who showed no mercy for his victims and who was extremely brutal, savage and barbaric.

“When the social worker interviewed him and asked why he committed these crimes, he replied he was demon-possessed,” said Carelse.

A 21-YEAR-OLD man from Mpopoma suburb in Bulawayo allegedly raped his 14-year-old cousin and claimed he was possessed by demons.

The man (name withheld to protect the victim) appeared before the Western Commonage provincial magistrate Willard Mafios Moyo, where he was charged for contravening Section 65 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody to March 3.

“I was demon possessed when all this happened,” he said.

“I do not remember what exactly happened. I apologise to my family. However, I blame demons for this kind of act because I wouldn’t have done it in my normal senses.”

Prosecutor Mufaro Mageza told the court that on January 28, the man realised that his grandmother had fallen asleep and followed his cousin to her bedroom, where he raped her.

A “feared” and controlling pastor who raped multiple members of his congregation and forced his child victims to have abortions was caught in an on-camera confession by one of their relatives.

Self-styled prophet Michael Oluronbi admitted that “everything was my fault” in a video recorded by a victim’s family member who confronted him last year.

“As I said before, I wasn’t meant to be human. I wasn’t meant to live under the roof of any human being and I said that I was an animal,” the 60-year-old is heard to tell his accuser. Oluronbi also claims the devil made him carry out the attacks.

On Friday the serial abuser was convicted of 15 counts of rape, seven counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault after a trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

Oluronbi’s wife Juliana, 58, of Walker Road, Walsall, was convicted of three counts of aiding and abetting rape after helping to arrange a number of abortions for victims.

Their crimes can be reported fully after a judge lifted legal restrictions, while the confession footage was released by West Midlands Police after the trial.

However, despite the videotaped admission of guilt, Oluronbi denied any wrongdoing during his trial and forced his victims — some of whom had become pregnant by him more than once — to give evidence against him during nine weeks of hearings. He even laughed in the witness box while giving his own evidence, according to police.

Prosecutors said Oluronbi, of Orchard Drive, Longbridge, Birmingham, was “revered and feared” by his victims and seen “almost like a king”. He used what he called “spiritual work” as a ruse to commit sexual abuse, Phil Bradley QC told jurors.

He added: “The main tactic he employed was to claim that God had instructed him to administer ‘holy baths’ to some of his congregation in order to ‘cleanse’ them and protect them from evil influences.

“That activity began when his victims were children. There can be no doubt that its real purpose was to serve his sexual gratification.”

The cult-leader-like figure “kept a vice-like grip on many of them and continued to abuse them well into adulthood”, Mr Bradley said.

DHAKA: Bangladeshi police have arrested a religious school´s principal for allegedly raping at least a dozen children under his care, an official said Friday, sparking demonstrations by hundreds of people.

Al Amin, the head teacher and founder of the Baitul Huda Cadet Madrassa at Fatulla outside Dhaka, claimed innocence, saying he was “possessed by Satan”. Madrassas are religious institutions that provide everything from basic Koran-based education to graduate-level religious studies.

KASUR- The main accused in Zainab Ansari’s rape and murder case has claimed to be possessed by a demon after he was arrested on Tuesday. He asserted that it was the demon that made him rape and kill little girls.

According to the details revealed to the media, the accused has been identified as Imran Ali and is said to be a relative of the seven-year-old girl. He lived near the house of the innocent girl in Kasur on Kot Road, from where she was abducted.

For the following news report, the perpetrator claimed the demons inside the victim made him do it, but I believe it was instead the demons inside the perpetrator that gave him that false impression:

A Maryland pastor who allegedly tried to rape a young girl in his congregation told her that the demons inside her made him do it, according to police.

Octavio Cantarero, a 42-year-old pastor at the Iglesia Pentecostal Principe De Paz in Gaithersburg, has been charged with fourth-degree sexual offense (sexual contact) and attempted second-degree rape against a minor, the Maryland County Police Department announced Tuesday.

Officials say Cantarero met the alleged victim, whose name and age were not released, in January and offered her a room at the church because “she was too young to live alone.”

That night, the girl woke up to Cantarero trying to rape her, police said.

The pastor allegedly offered to pay for the girl’s clothes, rent and school if she kept quiet, and told her that “her demons had provoked him.”

She reported the crime to police in May and Cantarero turned himself in over the weekend, police said.

He is being held without bond.

May 2—A man arrested last week for allegedly fracturing an infant’s skull told Cobb police he believes the infant was possessed by spirits, and that he may have been too, according to his warrant.

Juan Francisco Lobo Hernandez, 28, was booked into the Cobb jail on April 25 for child abuse and aggravated battery, records show.

Hernandez is accused of causing multiple skull fractures to an infant on April 20 at a home on Dodgen Road in Mableton, the warrant states.

When Hernandez was interviewed by police five days after the infant was brought to the hospital, he said supernatural forces were at work targeting him and his family.

“Said accused stated that he (believed) paranormal activity had been conducted by spirits or a bad person who attempted to make his family suffer,” the warrant says. “Said accused stated he believed said victim was possessed and that he may have been as well.”

WAYNE (WWJ) — The mother of an 8-year-old Metro Detroit girl has been charged with murder and child abuse after allegedly beating her daughter because she thought she was possessed by evil spirits.

Chelsea Duperon of Wayne was arraigned Tuesday on charges of felony murder and first-degree child abuse. Duperon, 30, was remanded to jail.

Wilmoth called the girl’s injuries “unfathomable.”

“What she endured is unfathomable. The pictures reflect a child that does not even look like a child. The massive amount of swelling to her head and her face, she was completely unrecognizable,” Wilmoth said.

Michigan State Police Sgt. Det. Rob Walters said during Tuesday’s arraignment an officer interviewing Duperon after the girl’s death saw Duperon “reposition her body” during the interview and “noticed significant swelling and bruising to her right hand and arm.”

She did not respond when asked if her arm is normally bruised, according to Walters.

“While the questions were being asked, Duperon mumbled out loud, ‘I swear to God, this is not me. This sounds crazy, but there’s bad spirits,’” Walters said. “Duperon stated ‘there was a lady and she came out of nowhere.’”

On Saturday Walters interviewed Duperon’s boyfriend, who lived at the same home, and he said “everything was normal” on Monday and Tuesday. After an argument late Tuesday night with Duperon he came home from work around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and found Duperon outside, pointing at the house and “talking about how she was possessed.”

The boyfriend told police Duperon had talked before about spirits, but “nothing like this” and said she had never hurt her daughter, according to Walters.

In the following case, the victim is not a child but a woman. Nevertheless, the perpetrator confessed that a demon moved him to commit the crime:

A Nicaraguan man who was deported from the US five times has been sentenced to 19 years behind bars for raping an Ohio woman — claiming that he committed the depraved act because he was “possessed by a demon.”

German Mathews, 40, pulled his hoodie over his head before sexually assaulting the developmentally disabled woman on April 29 while she walked to a Forest Park bus stop, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

His hands were “covered in the victim’s blood” after he viciously beat the 44-year-old woman in the head and face, police Sgt. Jackie Dreyer said.

The brute, who was still on the woman when police arrived in response to a 91l call, tried to flee but was quickly arrested.

Mathews’ attorney, James Bogen, said his client had stolen liquor from a convenience store and was intoxicated during the attack, adding that he has no recollection of it.

Bogen said Mathews “was horrified” when he showed him a cop’s bodycam video that captured some of the assault.

Mathews told authorities he felt like was “possessed by a demon” at the time, the Enquirer reported

“He feels terrible about what he did,” the attorney told the court, adding that the person who attacked the victim “is not the German Mathews you see here today.”

Mathews had likely experienced alcohol-induced psychosis, Bogen said.

In the following case, the criminal arrested for voyeurism said he was fighting his inner demons, which may be interpreted as metaphorical. But in light of what is presented here, is it not far-fetched to believe he meant it literally, and/or that he has actual demons? Evil spirits are usually behind people having pedophilic lust (and sometimes lust period):

A 62-year-old landlord in Florida was arrested after he was allegedly caught using hidden cameras to film and take photographs of a 12-year-old girl inside of her bedroom and bathroom. Bruce Wayne Grady was taken into custody last week and charged with two felony counts of video voyeurism by a person 24 years of age or older on a child less than 16 years of age, court records reviewed by Law&Crime show.

“Grady would go onto explained he was fighting his inner demons and would install and uninstall the app several times. Grady explained that he would have to go to the app and download the photo or video for it to end up in his gallery,” the affidavit states. “I asked Grady about the underwear photos taken of used underwear that were also in the trash bin. Grady stated they were the victim’s underwear.”

Many of the perpetrators, I presume, weren’t Christian. Can they all be making up that they were influenced by some sort of evil power?

Some may retort that the criminals claimed demonic possession as a viable legal defense. But as far as I know, it has not been successfully used to escape criminal charges, at least in Western countries. And some of the news reports read that they claimed they were demon-possessed before they were arrested.

It’s not a reach to believe there’s really something sinister of the unseen world at work here. That is indeed what is going on. These news reports are evidence of actual dark forces influencing people. It’s worth repeating that most people don’t even know that demons are pulling their strings to commit gross evil acts of any kind. Most of the time, demons like to operate in a person’s life undetected — they are like cockroaches who usually stay in the dark to stay hidden. But when they are exposed to the power of God, they panic and are driven away.
